Extended Stay America Suites - Chicago - Gurnee

The customer service is terrible if you want to be charged hidden fees without your consent go to the extended stay they where supposed to send me a consent form before a purchase was authorized and I checked my account and a charge of 370.00 was made to my card that I did not authorize.

Whilst my water is being worked on at my house, Extended Stay America in Gurnee, IL has become my home away from home. It will be very difficult to have to leave as coffee is ready in the AM's and it is very comforting to know that there is always someone at the Front Desk for Security. Brian is the Manager and very mindful to make sure that all the Guests' needs are promptly met. His staff are very responsive. Kat and Irma always have a smile and Good Morning.

It's the hotel I always choose. The prices are great, the manager & staff are ALWAYS friendly & accommodating!!!! I told them ONCE that I had a favorite room & now whenever I stay there they always try to give it to me. It's honestly my fav hotel chain to stay at.

Customer service is great and very kind and respectful. It's like your own studio every room comes with a kitchen area and very clean. The stay was very comfortable and not far from all the stores, mall, and six flags

We wanted to save money as this was the least expensive hotel in the area for the weekend and, it boy, you get what you paid for. Actually, I wish we paid even less, it should be more like $60 a night motel type. Everything is old. Bad quality - towels, sheets, ...actually there is not much else to even list here. Stupid towel exchange policy, I gotta bag the old ones and bring it downstairs in exchange for new ones, we were too tired to come back second time around. Now, carpets are plain sticky, with stains and super disappointed unupdated room furniture etc (Even tho the desk chair looked newer but again, dirty). I know that when the shampoo goes bad, it will be super thick and gooey and slow pouring, so I am glad we had our shampoo to use. Hope they check their shampoo inventory for dates. Although pleasant females in the front over the weekend , not the male at night.

I read some of these reviews and noticed that a lot of people are saying that this general manager Brian is such a great guy great customer service yes maybe so for your experiences but for mine it's totally the opposite he is very unprofessional he's very prejudice stereotyping and racist I have it all on video and I felt violated humiliated ashamed of the situation that transpired and I am recommending upon this review that he should be terminated from his duties .. again like I said I have it on video his face in the video clear as day the whole conversation that we had he terminated my stay at the extended stay a week before my actual check out saying that I was smoking under The canopy at the main entrance but he clearly states in the video that he never observed that and that he would not even say who said it so pretty much it was he say she say I also have videos of other individuals of different ethnic group than mine smoking under the same canopy that he described that I was observed smoking at they were smoking there and I have it on video but those individuals are still guessed at the extended stay and yes they are Caucasians and I am African American mixed I feel totally hurt something has to take be done to this individual from the corporate level I am seeking legal actions and so forth and I am willing to share this video with any and everybody on every social media platform the media the public etc.
