PPengguna TetamuTravelled as a family of 2 adults and 3 teenagers. No particular requests. But I thought it would be reasonable to allocate us 2 rooms on the same level. Instead we were given rooms on split levels requiring use of room cards to access each other rooms on different levels. One room card to my kids so that they can access my room and another room card to maintain electricity at the door. So we are left with nil spare room cards.
Despite the upfront security measures to use room cards to access each level via lift, the stairs are accessible without use of any room cards.
Rust stained kitchen equipment.
Kitchen equipment is so-so
Recept emphasized that there is no daily room cleaning but never really keen to welcome guests and make guests comfortable.

PPengguna Tetamu衹住了一晚！絲毫沒住夠！服務都是好的！住的很舒適！乾淨 早餐也不錯😌。慕尼黑的景點相對都進！離查理哨崗，附近的酒店都很近！來出差也可以順便完了。走幾步就是地鐵站，去慕尼黑大學也不錯！走幾步就可以去吃很出名的鹹豬手！

On your way back to the hotel, you will be passing by nice international food selection: viet, Italian, Indian and even two Afghani restaurants. Amd if you miss lne of course, you got your kebab shop!
The deal breaker for me, the welcoming deamor of the reception staff. A mixed bag, half were smiling and half is long faced. My advice if smiling and welcoming guests isnt for you, one must quit a customer facing job. And the lady that checked us in has refused to add my husband's holiday in loyalty number. Her reasoning, since you booked using a third party, one must not earn the point. Okay but actually another of her colleague is willing to add the details, just in case we spent something in the bar. Why is it points cant be earn... same concept like flights.. they aren't fussy abt you earning yoir miles. You are the same person at the end of the day.
Amenities: breakfast is sumptuous and varied selection although similar everyday. However reception here are way friendlier and jolly. Their gym is properly equipped. I am also delighted with their housekeeping, they do their daily rounds and the lobby is freshen up to. Compared to a marriot hotel which uses a robot, we're lobby edges are so filty. So kudos to the housekeeping team!
I am happy though that my husband doesnt have a company site in Germany, I will take checking in France/Poland/India and china any day. They are just way welcoming. The attitude just simply put me off, it shouldn't be a German thing as we ate in a German restaurant in the main square, they are nice over there.

Saya pernah mendengar bahawa bunga api Tahun Baru di Munich tidak pernah berhenti, jadi saya bimbang saya tidak boleh tidur, tetapi bilik itu sangat sunyi dan kedap udara, jadi saya boleh tidur dengan tenang.
Ia adalah hotel yang sangat unik dan menarik, tetapi ia mengecewakan kerana katil itu mahal dan sukar untuk digunakan, serta tiada selipar atau jubah mandi. Selain daripada itu, saya rasa ia bagus.

PPengguna TetamuThe hotel location is not in the heart of old town Munich but it’s just 5 mins walk from the main train station, so that’s a plus. To go to the old town Munich, it’s just 1-2 stops away using Metro/Tram. The room is modern and clean. They have a small gym and sauna, enough for light exercises and to relax especially in the winter. Within the price range, the hotel is worth the charge.

Location is a bit far from Munich center but it is very convenient for traveling. Also, very clean and safe area.

AAsh76OK - the good -
The rooms are spacious, bed is large, the bathroom is lux with marble floors.
it is also in a great location. It is close to the train station and has a Lidl behind it.
The barman Jan is friendly and helpful.
And the not so good -
The rooms do not have a fridge, a microwave and not even a kettle!
When I enquired about the tea and coffee facilities, I was curtly told if I wanted coffee I could buy it downstairs.
It is difficult to understand how a hotel can justify a 4 star rating if it doesn't have anything more than a bed and a bathroom.
And then there is the room temperature. It's a furnace in the room I think the temperature was set to 29 degrees C!!
And the room temperature can't be changed in room. Only the reception can.
Even if they change it, it resets the next day.
I'm not sure why this hotel needs a sauna... Just stay in the room.
As has been noted in another review on Tripadvisor, this issue is ongoing. He noted it in 2017 and again in 2019 but nothing has changed.
Secondly is the staff attitude. They aren't rude but not friendly either. Likely they are worn down by the same issues getting raised while they are powerless to change it themselves.
Unsurprisingly, I was not offered a late check out.
The main advantage of location is lost by all the disadvantages.
If that's why you want to stay here, don't let the photo's trick you, book another better hotel nearby.
