JjhoebiOne of the best hotel ive been to. 5/5 to me.. Very good service and good food and breakfast is superb. i love their champorado. definitely one of my best trip in Cebu. Worrh travelling even its quote far from the airport. The room are so clean and spacious. We love their executive lounge. I will surely recommend it to my family and friends.

LLee YaroWe stayed at Seda during the weekend to celebrate valentine's day. Room stay was good, and we were allowed late check out at 1pm.
Gym is not big but good enough. Theres also a pool.
Location is good
Breakfast buffet could be better as food was quite oily.
All in all, would stay in Seda again if we return here in the future.

MMasaki07I would like to raise a concern regarding our stay on May 15. On the morning of May 15, we woke up to find that the floor was extremely wet, and we also noticed that a large area of the ceiling was wet, which strongly suggests there may have been a water leak.
This situation was very concerning and made us feel uncomfortable during our stay.
In addition, the air conditioning unit in our room was very noisy, which seriously disturbed our sleep. Our friend staying in another room experienced the same issue with the air-conditioning noise as well.
We will be staying at your hotel again tomorrow, and we are worried that the same problems may happen again. Could you please arrange for your staff to inspect these issues as soon as possible and ensure that our room for the next stay will be in good condition, with no leakage and a quiet air-conditioning unit?

PPengguna Tanpa NamaWe booked two rooms for 7 nights at the Sheraton Cebu Mactan. We are two families traveling together with three young children and a pregnant wife. We were excited for a relaxing vacation, but after just 4 days, we wanted to check out early.
The hotel agreed to refund only one room (around 900–1000 USD), but refused to refund the second room. This decision was made even though the hotel is completely full (Chinese New Year, peak season). Our rooms could have been sold to other guests immediately, so there was no financial risk to the hotel.
Why We Wanted to Leave Early:
1. Food Issues (Very Important for Muslim Families)
The hotel is in an isolated location with no restaurants nearby. The on-site restaurants serve mostly spicy Asian food, often containing pork. As Muslim families with young children, we cannot eat spicy food or pork. This made every meal a struggle.
2. Transportation (A Nightmare)
Getting a taxi is extremely difficult.
· When we wanted to leave the hotel to go to the city, we often waited over an hour for a taxi.
· When we tried to return to the hotel from the city (like Cebu), we waited up to 2 hours because drivers refuse to come to this hotel.
· Even within the Mactan area, finding a taxi was not easy.
· The hotel offers a transfer service, but it costs 2–3 times more than a regular taxi. For a family, this is not a practical solution.
3. Maintenance Issues
On the very first day, we reported that the sink was clogged – water drained very slowly. We were promised it would be fixed. After 3 days, nothing had been done.
On day 3, I personally told the General Manager, Mr. Robin Bernard, about the problem. He said: ”No problem, I will solve it.”
But even after his promise, nothing happened.
Finally, on day 4, housekeeping came to our room. We showed them the problem by running the water. They saw it immediately and called an engineer, who fixed it within 20 minutes.
Mr. Bernard's promise meant nothing. The regular staff fixed it.
Our Conversation with Management
We requested an early checkout. Mr. Ross Bautista genuinely tried to help us. He suggested a possible refund for one room and arranged a meeting with his superior to discuss our case.
That meeting was with General Manager Robin Bernard. Here is what happened:
· He claimed he ”knew the situation”, but could not explain any details. We had to tell him everything again: about the children, the pregnant wife, the food, the transportation.
· Throughout the conversation, he was arrogant and condescending. It felt like he was not listening, just waiting for us to finish.
· We explained that the hotel was fully booked (Chinese New Year, peak season), so letting us leave early would not hurt his business. The rooms would be sold again immediately.
· His response was shocking. He looked at us and said, word for word:
”You should not think about my business. It's my concern.”
Then, one minute later, when we asked for understanding, he said:
”I have to think about my business.”
There is no logic. It felt like he just wanted to show his power and punish us for asking.
The result? Nothing changed. Ross Bautista tried, but his hands were tied. Robin Bernard simply confirmed his original decision and showed zero empathy.
As long as Mr. Robin Bernard is the General Manager, we will never return to this hotel. His arrogance, empty promises, and complete lack of care for families with children and special dietary needs are destroying the reputation of this Sheraton.
To other Muslim families or anyone traveling with young children: I strongly recommend choosing a different hotel. Here, your needs will be ignored if the manager does not feel like helping.

JJaneCherviakovaThe hotel is about a 15-minute taxi ride from the airport, which is true and very convenient. You're greeted with live music at the entrance. Security is present: security checkpoints, baggage scanning, and guards with dogs.
The hotel has its own beach and three entrances to the sea. The water is crystal clear, fish swim right off the shore, and life jackets are free. The hotel is very family-friendly. There are water slides, a kids' club, and a huge playroom. You can even leave your child with a nanny (for an additional fee). There are daily activities for both children and adults, including arcade machines, air hockey, and morning yoga.
Breakfast is included, and it's excellent. There are two restaurants, a huge selection of food, and everything is delicious. Even ice cream is included. After breakfast, children are given marbles—a small change, but a nice touch. Lunch and dinner are extra. There are Italian and Cantonese restaurants, as well as various buffets. There are bars on the beach, by the pool, and in the lobby. Live music plays in the evening, creating a great atmosphere. The grounds are vast: golf, mini-golf, tennis, billiards, table tennis, and badminton. Wi-Fi works great throughout the property. The staff is very friendly.
The main drawback is the renovations; they need a refresh. However, the service and infrastructure are still excellent.

PPengguna Tanpa NamaAfter reading the description on the hotel website, seeing the pictures and reading the reviews, I have to admit that we were quite disappointed. We booked the „Royal Bungalow“ located directly at the private beach of the resort for 3 nights . The description promised: „With only 4 Royal Bungalows available, you’ll experience a heightened level of privacy and personalized service during your stay.“ We did not experience any personalized service or privacy. The beach was very crowded and noisy and people were having their picnic directly in front of our veranda. We also had the impression that there were quite a few day-guests at the beach. On the second night, the dinner was at the beach in front of our bungalow, with music blasting until 9pm, which wasn’t so nice with little children who wanted to sleep. On the third day, there was even a bouncing castle with a noisy motor next to the veranda (see pictures for the view from our bungalow). Our understanding of privacy and exclusivity differs considerably from what we experienced. Also, on the first day, our bungalow was only cleaned at 5 pm, even though we put the „please clean“ sign at 9:30. In addition, the service during dinner and breakfast was not very pleasant. The staff was not very attentive and our order for drinks was forgotten at 3 different occasions. There was not even a word of excuse when we kindly asked were our order was. Maybe it was because the main restaurant was closed for renovations and food was always served either at the beach or the pizza restaurant. After the first night, we asked whether it was possible to reserve a table for the next two nights, which was kindly promised to be arranged. Unfortunately, on both nights they forgot about it.
On the plus side, there were 2 shows during our stay during dinner, which was pretty cool and there is always life music. The Oyster bar at the beach is great and the staff there was amazing. Also, the gym is good and there are 3 pools at the resort, one with a slide, which tb kids really enjoyed. The resort itself is very nice designed work small huts and a lot of green. Also, upon request, they extended the offer to a complementary airport transfer as this would have been included in a booking via Their website (and not via trip.com).
One last thing, which I found quite strange was that - even though we had a full board offer via Trip.com - they tried to charge all buffet food (apart from breakfast) to us. I don’t know whether this was on purpose or just bad management, but it kinda added to the overall not too great experience. Once they adapted then the bill, they tried to charge the airport transfer - overall I felt quite uncomfortable during the check-out.
To summarise: It was okay to stay there, the resort is nice. The service did not really live up to the promise. You should be aware that it is quite a large resort.

PPengguna TetamuI booked for a room with pool view which is more expensive than the rest of the rooms but i was greatly disappointed. We were placed in a room with a roof view and the view of another building! It was a waste of money! We only get to see the roof of something! Never again would i be paying extra money for a pool view when the hotel will not give us such kind of room as advertised. They said they will transfer us to a room with a pool view but it did not happen. We kept on waiting but it did not happen until we gave up.
The receptionist was a little disrespectful and impatient.
Worse still, they do not allow guests who have checked in the hotel to use the pool with inflatable play set and slides. I was mislead into thinking that guests can use the pool with inflatable play set for free. The hotel guests have to pay P600 per person in order for one to be able to use such pool and slides. I guess families with children have been more disappointed than me knowing that they and their kids could not use such pool for free.
So those who will try to book this hotel hoping their kids can enjoy the pool with inflatable play set and slides for free, think again. You will be greatly disappointed because you will only be able to use the ordinary pools.

NNat ShanghaiThis hotel is very convenient, located only about 20 minutes from the airport, which makes it perfect before a flight. It is a large property, yet it remains surprisingly peaceful. The staff are truly lovely and welcoming.
The rooms are very comfortable and well-equipped with everything you might need. The food is excellent, especially the breakfast, which offers a great selection.
We spent a fun evening at the Sports Bar — my children really enjoyed all the activities available. The only downside, in my opinion, was that the prices there were quite high.
Aside from that, the view from the pool is stunning, and there is a pleasant small beach to enjoy. We had a wonderful stay before catching our flight.
