SKYBIRD Hotel

A pleasant hotel! Everything looks quite new. Comfortable bed (I especially liked that there is a choice between regular pillows and memory foam pillows). Good value for money (especially compared to hotels in Sanya where I am now and where hotels in this price range seem much lower quality). Friendly staff at reception. The only thing that could be better is sound insulation, in particular noise coming from outside the hotel. Even with the window closed, it felt as though it was open (what you hear is mostly traffic noise - which I got used to pretty quickly - but one evening also some loud music which annoyed me more; that stopped at 22:30 though, so not too bad after all). If I return to Haikou, I might certainly consider this hotel again.

There is constant cigarette smell in the room…especially at the shower area where the ventilator seems to be spoilt…other than that it’s pretty good.

Very convenient the hotel location and staff very helpful cos I extend six night for my parent to free and Easy the room is clean and comfortable thank you

Nice modern hotel. It was our first stop in Haikou, and the reception staff - Daisy and the other girls- showed great hospitality, despite not speaking English. Location is good, across the highway there are some malls and lively local food streets. The bad part - in the room we got at first there was a strong cigarette smell, we got the room changed, but the smell was still coming and going from the vent system, as some of the guests clearly smoked in their rooms, despite the "no smoking" policy. It was bearable, but unpleasant.

Our 3 night stay night stay at Haikou. Highly recommended hotel for foreigners like us😭. Staffs were friendly and able to assist how to use the local mobile application for payment. Room was clean and hotel also come with free washing machine where you can do your laundry. Location was about 10-15min walk to the famous 椅樓old quarters. Surrounding area have a lot of shopping where you won’t be feel so bore at the hotel surrounding.
