Very nice room and excellent food. Will definitely recommend to friends and family.

This is the second time for the consecutive years of our stay. This hotel is the only reason for us to come back to Hokkaido again from last year’s trip. The ocean view in the room accompanied with the sound of tides / wind is peaceful and lovely; and the in-room but semi-outdoor/facing the sea onsen makes everything perfect. Also the lobby sitting area is another fascinating place for stay for a while! The downstairs souvenir shop, nearby walking distance Lawson/ 7–11 makes the location more convenient.  But maybe the expectation was too high after waiting for a year, I was disappointed for this stay  several reasons: 1) too strong third hand cigarettes smell in the room, although we opened the window for 24 hours, the smell still lingered  2) check out time is WAY TOO EARLY(10 am) for a leisure purpose of stay  3) the room is clean but not the window, it hinder the view of seeing through the ocean ; and can tell the hotel is old from every corners.  I’ll reconsider to stay again if the price is worth the downside we need to compromise.

I recently stayed at a hotel that truly impressed me. The facilities were spotlessly clean, ensuring a comfortable stay. Breakfast was abundant and of top quality, providing a great start to my days. The on-site hot springs were a soothing treat, perfect for relaxation. The service was attentive and made me feel welcome throughout my stay. Plus, the room offered a breathtaking view, which added to the overall experience. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone seeking comfort and exceptional service.

Should be one of the best hotels across Japan with private onsen. For those who feel it’s expensive, I strongly recommend you still to spend at least one night in this hotel, it’s a once in your lifetime experience which you can’t buy from anywhere else.

Good view, Japanese style room, a bit old, buffet not bad, free parking

I stayed in a Japanese-style suite, which is worth trying if you want to experience a traditional Japanese room. It faces the sea and has a nice view. Breakfast is a Japanese buffet with a wide selection. There are also many restaurants nearby.

A traditional Japanese-style hot spring. The rooms have tatami mats and the old-fashioned key-operated lock and key system. The service was excellent. We checked in quite late, and the receptionist, an elderly gentleman, provided a detailed explanation of the hotel's facilities and services. He escorted us to our room, opened the door with a key, and explained the room's amenities. Very dedicated. The facilities are quite comprehensive. The hot springs are on the 4th and 7th floors, with men's and women's sessions rotating in the morning and evening. The 4th floor has an indoor sea view, and the 7th floor has an outdoor bath. The location isn't in the heart of Hakodate; it's situated in an area with many hot spring resorts and bathhouses, but there are fewer restaurants nearby. The hotel's own convenience store is on the 1st floor, open until 10 PM, and has a wide selection of items.

10 minutes by taxi from Hakodate JR. The hotel is a bit old, and the service is very thoughtful and warm. The room is mainly decorated with wood. The private bath in the room is under the sea~ The first floor lobby can also see the sea

The price/performance ratio is average. The location is very close to Hakodate Airport. The taxi ride to the city center is about 2,000 yen. The second-floor windows are soundproofed, and the view depends entirely on the weather.

Great! The room has its own sea view hot spring. It is so pleasant to watch the sunrise in the morning and take a bath! The breakfast is also very good! You can sit in a sea view seat if you stay in Huayue! After breakfast, it is so comfortable to sit in a rocking chair in the lobby downstairs and bask in the sun!
