Hotel berhampiran Yayoizaka Slope, Hakodate

Good location jus besides hakodate morning market. Got place to park just beside the hotel. There's a big lawson nearby too. The room was spacious for 4 pax. Love the shower room!

We appreciate the location of the hotel next to the JR Hakodate station. There is a 7-11 and some sort of supermarket on level 1 of the station, next to hotel. Lawson mini-mart is a stone’s throw away. The hotel room that we booked were located on 8th floor. There are only 2 lifts which are pretty small. Probably enough for 5-6 pax with 4-5 pieces of luggage’s will fill up a lift. If you stay on the lower levels, and during peak hour of checking out, good luck to you then! The lifts will be filled with guests from the upper storeys and their luggages. This hotel is not suitable for large groups of travellers as the waiting time for lifts is frustrating. Bathroom amenities are located on lobby level, so make sure you collect them before going up after checking in. There is also a pillow section which displays different sizes and types of hardness, with beads or cotton within. So take your pick of the pillow, and remember your pillow casings! On level 12 is a lounge where you can get your morning coffee daily from a coffee machine, FOC. Books there are all in Japanese language so we didn’t get to read as we are not literate in the language. The bathroom has good water pressure, albeit small for bigger sized Caucasians, and may create a claustrophobic feeling within a small confinement for the toilet and bathroom. The bed mattress is firm and we are ok with it. The location of the hotel is a little far from ABC-Mart, and also Uniqlo, Muji and other big stores. The hotel is next to a bus interchange where you can take different buses to various places of attraction, but buses arrive at different time intervals.

The best ever customer service experience I had with this hotel. I left an electric toothbrush in the room after check out and continued my Japan trip to Sapporo. After I informed them via email, not only that they found it but they mailed it to me to my hotel in Sapporo at a min cost. The package was carefully packed and delivered. This made a wonderful experience for me on Japan.

The hotel location is opp the station and is mins away to the supermarket for all u need. The room at 11 floor was great for 3 pax. Breakfast was simple with drinks station. U can relax in morning for a simple breakfast before exploring the small quiet town.

The front desk staff did not provide clear explanations during check-in and only gave guests a single English introduction to read on their own. This will cause confusion and inconvenience. This hotel is convenient for self-driving travelers, as it has partnered with nearby parking lots to ensure ample parking space. Apartment-style hotel providing fully equipped facilities as there is no need to go outside to find a laundry store(remember to buy laundry detergent). The hotel hot spring is great, guests can watch TV while enjoying hot springs. The rooms are spacious, and some even offer sea views from the windows. Without a doubt, I highly recommend this hotel for a truly delightful stay.

The new hotel is close to Goryōkaku Tower. New hotels are not expensive, quite complete facilities. There is a parking lot behind the hotel 800 yen/day. There are many restaurants around the hotel. Opposite the hotel, there is a convenience store. receptionist There is a great service.

函館駅から市電に乗って五稜郭公園前駅に行くと、ほとんど目の前にあるホテルです。空港に行く「とびっこ」バスのバス停もすぐそばです。室内の広さや、アメニティの種類も十分でした。個人的にはパジャマのあるのが便利でした。PCやスマートフォンの充電器やケーブルまで部屋にあったので、うっかり忘れたときにも助かりますね。 一つだけ、シャワーカーテンを広げるとよくない臭いがしたので、「清潔感」の項目は１つ減らします。

五稜郭までは歩いて１０分くらい位の場所にホテルである。 【部屋】 部屋は広々ではないがビチビチでもなく、普通のビジネスホテル。 風呂、トイレ、洗面台セットのユニット。 ハンガーは８本、二人であれば十分か。そこに大浴場へ行く際のバックが 掛けられていた。 アメニュティは歯ブラシ・ブラシ・ひげそりと標準的な物は備わっていた。 バゲージラック、空気清浄機もあり。またWIFIも使える。 【大浴場】 洗い場は１０くらい、湯船も１０人くらいは入れるだろうか。 【朝食】 １階のレストランにて。 「函館の朝食は豪華」で有名なのだが、ここも結構豪華。 小鉢、鉢の料理多いので、皿は１枚でいいかも。 朝食会場だがチェックイン時チラッと見た感じでは広いの？という感じであったが朝食に出向くと見えていた奥にも席があり、混雑時間帯避ければ待たずに席確保できそう。 ルームキーを受付で提示してトレイを取ってという感じなのだが、カードでのチェック？？？という感じ。 「食事中」のカード席において。このカードはトレイに。 でも、他のホテルのように受付でカード渡せばいいんじゃない、トレイにカードちょっと面食らった。（ほかの法華倶楽部でもこのスタイルだっけ？） 【その他】 部屋は五稜郭方面と市街地方面に面する建て方であるが、この時期は五稜郭方面が良いのだが私たちは市街地方面、「はずれ？」であった。 どうしたら五稜郭方面に？ ちなみにコップは冷蔵庫の中にあった。 風呂に入れ墨者が！左横腹と右肩に。たぶん日本人！！ 部屋にはユニットバスあるのだから、チェックイン時に説明を！！ 皆が健やかに過ごせるホテルにしてほしい。

What a wonderful experience! We were amazed at the selection of fresh seafood for breakfast and dinner. This is by far the best hotel seafood buffet for sure! The facilities are clean, rooms are spacious and tidy, overall ambience is great! Onsen is nice and relaxing. It is a bit far away from JR Hakodate station and does require you to either take taxi or bus. The hotel was offering a small hotel shuttle at the time which was nice however must reserve with the hotel before hand. The lady driving the shuttle bus was very nice and even gave us some traveling tips for the local area! Thank you! Special thanks to Mr. Yoshida-san at the front reception. He had noticed that one of the shuttle times we had reserved was not available that day, so he took extra effort to make sure we made it to the earlier shuttle time to make it back to the hotel. Thank you Yoshida-san! I really would like to come back and stay at Umi to Akari soon. It was a wonderful experience! Wish the best of success to this hotel!

This was the perfect location to stay overnight on our trip between Asahikawa and Tokyo. We had travelled by train from Sapporo and were switching to the Shinkansen at Shin Hakodate Hokuto. We had booked a room with two beds which turned out to be either double or queen. We also hadn't realised that the hotel has an onsen, so this was a particularly nice surprise. The beds were good, and the Japanese style pillows were okay, too - sometimes they can be a bit hard, or too fat. The hotel is clean and modern with nice toiletries and yukata supplied. The only slight disappointment was that the restaurant was closed on the night we stayed (a Friday), but there is a Ramen restaurant downstairs in an adjacent shopping area, and this was fine.
