Hotel berhampiran Kultur Palast Harburg, Hamburg

OK - es sind immer noch die Möbel, die ich noch aus der Zeit kannte, als es das Forum Hotel war. Und das ist schon sehr lange her. Aber im Herbst soll die Renovierung losgehen. Der Empfang war sehr freundlich. Es hat richtig Spaß gemacht. Ich habe ein schönes Zimmer bekommen mit schönem Ausblick zur Stadt. Leider wird sehr viel gebaut, so dass man beim nächsten Mal vielleicht gar nicht mehr bis zur Elbe gucken kann. Schade. Dieses Mal gab es sogar einen Vorgang, der dicht war. Bis auf den Wasserdruck (15. Stock) der Dusche war alles in Ordnung. Aber das ist naturgegeben und damals kein Standard. Überrascht war ich beim Frühstück. Neben dem freundlichen Personal, das schnell abräumte, war das Angebot sehr vielseitig. Ich hatte nachgefragt: die Frikadellen schmeckten wie selbst gemacht (verbrannte Zwiebelstücke) und nicht nach Convenience. Aber man wollte sich nicht mit fremden Federn schmücken und meinten, dass es doch Convenience sei. Aber es war alles sehr gut. Ich werde wieder das Hotel mehr in meinen Fokus setzen, wenn ich wieder in Hamburg bin.

Für St.Pauli-Besucher eine gute Adresse. Wir wurden freundlich begrüßt und konnten unser Zimmer vorzeitig beziehen. Der Parkplatz ist sicher und direkt im Hof, vor der Tür. Für 12 €. (Kann nicht zwischen 20:00 und 06:00 Uhr angefahren oder verlassen werden) Das Hotel liegt mitten auf der Großen Freiheit. Das dort in der Nacht nicht absolute Ruhe herrscht, dürfte eigentlich klar sein. Im Hof befindet sich ein kleiner Biergarten, in dem man sehr günstig ein Bierchen trinken / ein Rettchen rauchen kann. Der Fahrstuhl im Hotel ist der Hit - so etwas erwartet man hier wirklich nicht. Das Zimmer war sauber, geräumig, hell und modern - mit allem was man braucht. Überraschung: Bad mit Dusche und Toilette sind 2 getrennte Räume! Es gibt genügend Steckdosen, einen Ventilator, Flachbild-TV und die Gardinen dunkeln gut ab. Die Fenster haben 3fach-Verglasung. Schreibtisch vorhanden und Kofferablage. Auf den Zimmern gibt es sogar einen Regenschirm und Schuhanzieher. Uns hat wirklich nichts gefehlt. Überhaupt war das ganze Hotel sehr sauber - Respekt. Das Frühstück war ok. - das erste Rührei leider kalt, dafür das Zweite perfekt. Gewünscht hätte ich mir nur noch Bohnen und Würstchen ;-) aber sonst war so ziemlich alles vorhanden. Der O-Saft war kalt und lecker. Es gab frisches Obst, welches auch tagsüber den Gästen an der Bar zur Verfügung stand. Wir kommen gern wieder.

Great location. Easy to get around and get back to the place at night. If you're a light sleeper I wouldn't recommend the shared rooms, people coming back late at night, the doors close quite loudly. My only complaint is that I received a keycard to the wrong room and walked right into a private suite.. Nobody was there thankfully and I just walked right out, but if I were staying in a private room I would hate to think that strangers could just walk into my room where all my belongings are lying around. Otherwise clean and quite a cool environment.

Hotel ini terletak betul-betul di seberang jalan dari Stesen Pusat Hamburg. Hotel ini bukan baru, tetapi ia bersih, dan bilik mandi telah diubah suai baru-baru ini. Di tingkat atas anda mempunyai akses ke teres percuma dengan pemandangan. Ahli program kesetiaan hotel diberikan Internet yang sangat pantas secara percuma dan tiket untuk semua jenis pengangkutan awam. + Modern and stylish + Everything was clean + Everything was as shown on the pictures - A cleaner knocked and then opened my door, before I could reply to the knock, at 9:45. Check-out is at 11. The door was locked from the inside, apparently that means nothing. ***? I was trying to sleep, I had not checked out, and the door was locked. How can this happen?! Next, they start vacuuming and rummaging around the cabin horizontally adjacent to me across the next 30 minutes, which made it impossible to sleep again. (I had a late night, and was going to have a long day and evening this day, hence me wanting to sleep nearly another hour before I had to get up for check-out.) - Not quite soundproof; hallway music was turned on around 9:30 and softly audible inside the cabin. (I did not hear any noise from guests in other cabins.) It did not wake me up, but it did not help with falling back asleep. - Not quite light-proof either. The shutters dim it to the light level of a half-full moon: not enough to read a book, but you can see detailed outlines of everything still. - The temperature in a cabin cannot be regulated; it's rather warm (if it were cold, you could just put on another blanket... but it was slightly too warm) + Plenty of charging spots in the cabin + The cabin feels cozy - The pillow was extremely thin. Most pillows are too thick for me, but this pillow was like laying on a fluffy towel. No other pillows available inside the cabin (I did not ask for another one either). I added my (yet unused) shower towel below it and that was fine. - The bed was very high up (around my belly button iirc; I'm 1.80m tall). Fine for me, but if you are not athletic, you cannot get in. Grabbing something from your bag below at night meant getting up and doing gymnastics. There was a little plank on the wall which looked like a shelf and I am not sure would have held me (63kg); unclear whether this is meant as a stepping aid but it was a bit low and narrow for that anyway. + Enough space in the cabin to store your backpack as well as taking some things out of the backpack while getting (un)dressed standing up. This is different (much more spacious) than the capsules you might have seen from Japan. + Showers were a good and consistent temperature + Good price for vegan food in the restaurant I saw other reviews mentioning a draft of air aimed at their face all night: I did not have that, no matter whether I laid with my head or with my feet towards the door. My air vent supplied a tiny amount of cool air, barely flowing and not noticeable unless you put your hand beside it. Another review mentioned an automatic light turning on whenever they moved at night. My automatic night was below the bed and did not trigger unless I stood there. The main light and another adjustable reading light were button-operated. My cabin was #002, the upper cabin of a pair. I paid 60 euros for the first night (December 26-27), and would have paid 90 for a second night b

Es ist alles schön und gut bis auf das im Zimmer die Luftfeuchtigkeit fehlt und die Klimaanlage/Lüftung irgendwie nicht funktioniert. Konnte durch die trockene Luft leider nicht richtig einschlafen und dazu führte es zur Erkältung. Ansonsten sauberes Zimmer, die Mitarbeiter sind freundlich und hilfsbereit.

Schönes Hotel, gute Lage, nähe U.-und S-Bahn, gutes Frühstück Leider im Sommer sehr war, da keine Klimaanlage vorhanden ist !

We stayed here for 5 days for a family visit. The hotel surprised us in a good way. Everything was clean efficient and pleasant. The location was also ideal for us (5min to the subway/tube station). Modern building, nice breakfast buffets - nice bathroom, and quiet room. Couldn't ask for more. Wir waren sehr zufrieden mit allem. I think it also presented good value for money.

Das Hotel ist ein wenig in die Jahre gekommen, aber Preis-Leistungsverhältnis ist absolut Top !! Frühstück ist sehr gut und reichlich ! Einzig der Kaffee aus dem Vollautomat war komplett kalt. Es gab aber auch Kaffee aus der Kanne, der war ok. Das Zimmer war ok, nur wo der Kühlschrank mal drin war, da war nichts mehr drin.... aber sonst war alles ok und sauber.
