Hotel berhampiran Lianheng Memorial Hall, Hangzhou

Indeed this hotel is from 1935 and in this era the hotel was smashing. However, today we are in 2024 and although it is still looking fantastic the building is old and very humid, at least at the first floor where we were. We had to change the first room because it was smelling bad and everything was humid. There was equipment placed to get the moisture out of the room but this was really not enough. The second room was already better but still the humidity was far too high above 65!! My wife really had breathing issues with the high humidity and we were really happy that we booked only two nights. The people and the breakfast in the hotel was great but that couldn’t compensate the bad environment where you had to sleep. If you have breathing or lung issues I would recommend not to book this hotel because it will make you really sick, again at least the first floor. How the environment is on the other floors I cannot judge because I have not experienced it. A hotel of this level should be able to really do something about it and not putting a piece of (loud) equipment in the room to get humidity right.

The hotel location is the best advantage as it’s very near to the train station and the West Lake. Other than that, the cleanliness is average only as the room is stuffy with moldy smell. Next to our room is the trays with all used bedsheets which does not look pleasant throughout our stay. The bathroom as well not that user friendly without proper place to hang our clothes. The single bed provided looks small as well and I was bitten by bed bugs on my lower leg. Overall a not very satisfying stay but giving it a pass with its prime location. I will not recommend it to my friends.

小张 service was excellent. If there is a 5.1 Stars rating, I will give it. I am totally impressed from the room to the toilet to the morning breakfast restaurant. Initially I was skeptical about this hotel as it looks too good to be true. Cleanliness. Spotless. The feel and the area to me is very clean and tidy. Very comfortable. Location. Near to metro, Feng qi station. About 30m away. Didn't take it but if u are looking for a hotel near a metro, no hesitation Service. From front desk to the hotel staffs, they are all very professional. Amenities. For anyone looking for a hotel with washing machines, there are 4 wash machines and 4 dryers at level 5. At level 8, there are 1 dryer and 2 washing machines. Good if u need a chance to wash your clothes before continuing with the next leg.

Room was spacious for our family for 4 and bed was very comfortable. There is even a partial view of West Lake from our room. Staff was courteous and friendly. Breakfast buffet choices are good and food is delicious. As the hotel is located within shopping district/pedestrian streetwalk, you will need to walk about 5 min to the pick-up area to board a taxi.

Great customer service attitude from the front desk and house keeping staff. Special mention to Miss 袁巧花 of the house keeping team for being proactive in assisting our needs. That is why I took a picture of her name tag so I can mention her here in this review Location: Great 👍! Walking distance to shopping malls, pedestrian shopping streets, and the west lake. 7/11, restaurants beside the hotel. Buffet breakfast included, well worth it at 59yuan because of the numerous selections. Also had buffet seafood dinner that has unlimited famous hairy crab, a wide selection of food at 150 yuan only, shockingly cheap. Enjoyed taking videos of the robot delivering our food ordered from outside the hotel also picture attached

Lokasi hotel sangat baik, hanya di dalam 77 Pintu masuk tidak begitu besar tetapi ia mudah dicari. Ia terletak di sebelah Tasik Barat, yang sangat mudah untuk membeli-belah dan bersiar-siar. Hotel ini baru diubah suai, tetapi biliknya tidak berbau seperti hiasan juga mandi kaki, supaya tetamu dapat menghilangkan kepenatan setelah seharian berlari👍 Ia juga sangat mudah untuk makan di tingkat bawah, dan tayangan pada skrin besar juga sangat jelas. Terdapat juga minuman percuma, ubi panggang, dan popcorn di meja depan Satu-satunya pengalaman buruk ialah terdapat rambut patah di atas cadar patut disyorkan.

The hotel is located strategically , in the middle of the city, near the subway and West Lake. Going to the places of interest is fairly easy from this hotel as the location of the subway/metro is nearby. Walk out of the hotel, turn right, and walk down straight. In less than three minutes, you can see a large shopping centre on your right. Next to Muji is Longxiangqaio, the subway station (Exit D). The direction to West Lake from the hotel is also the same going to the subway station. Instead of turning to the right, just continue walking straight and you can see the lake in less than 5 minutes. Since the hotel is located in the city centre, food options are plentiful with many restaurants, cafes and department stores. The most interesting part of the hotel for me is the rotating restaurant located on the 20th floor, where buffet breakfast is served. If the weather is good this place is good to view the beautiful lake and sunrise. The choice and selection of food here is fantastic ranging from Chinese food and Western food. The hotel is awesome for its facilities. There are a number of restaurants and a gym area. The hotel staff are very friendly and helpful. The consige was very helpful when we enquried for a map of Hangzhou and provided good advice on interesting places to visit. When I checked out of the hotel, the staff also provided a parting gift. I received a massage brush while my friend was given a cute keychain. I highly recommend this hotel.

Had a great stay at the hotel. Room is cosy yet spacious enough to put a couple of big luggages. Room is clean and comfortable. Room have universal charging plug so you don’t need a china plug converter. The basin is separated from the toilet/bath area so 2 person can wash up at the same time. It is only 5 mins walk to the main attraction in hangzhou, the west lake. The soundproofing might be needing a little work but overall it is a great stay. I would highly recommend it.

We recently stayed at this hotel and found our experience to be satisfying. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warm hospitality and efficient service. The location of the hotel is also worth noting. It is situated in a very convenient area, making it easy to access local attractions, dining options, and transportation. This added to the ease and enjoyment of our trip.

i booked a twin room, requested for non smoking area as we are sensitive to it. they gave us 9018. but after going inside, i noticed traces of smoke smell. i called the reception right away. the manager immediately changed our room to 1018. I was so amazed how quick she attended to my concern. so i am giving this hotel the highest possible rating i can give. the breakfast buffet is very satisfying. with all the food you want to eat. from soup, veggies, rice, cereals, fruits, bread, coffee, soy milk, hot milk, noodles. honestly, i didnt seem to look for other food. becuase 36RMB for a breakfast buffet is a jackpot!! where else can you find a sumptuous meal for only 36RMB?? only in Merchant Marco Edgelake Hotel!! although the location is quite outskirt.. if you have big luggages and you prefer to walk, it would be a bit troublesome to you. but with the cost per night, the service, attitude of the staff, i will definitely come back to this hotel and will recommend to my friends.
