We recently had the sheer pleasure of staying at the Hanoi Stella Hotel for three nights and our hearts are still nestled in the warm embrace of this exquisite establishment. Situated in the vibrant heart of Hanoi, the location afforded us the luxury of strolling through the city’s captivating streets with utmost ease. The rooms we were initially provided were a haven of comfort, showcasing pristine hygiene, especially in the bathrooms, which is always a big tick. The jewel in the crown was undoubtedly the staff whose proficiency in English was matched only by their boundless kindness. Their welcoming smiles immediately dissolved any travel-weary tension, making our interactions with them utterly delightful. Our adventure beckoned us to Sapa for a few days, but we found ourselves looking for the comforting cocoon of Hanoi Stella. Without a second thought, we booked it again for our final night in the city. To our sheer joy, we were upgraded to a family room—a spacious sanctuary that made us wish we had booked it every day of our stay. The room was a cornucopia of comfort, boasting ample space, heavenly beds, and a top-notch air conditioning system ensuring a cool retreat from the city’s hustle and bustle. The reception was a redux of our initial warm welcome, greeting us with tea, making our return feel like a homecoming. Their attentiveness added a golden touch to our already stellar experience.

Excellent ! Chambre avec grand lit double matelas ferme avec salle de bain (douche, pas de baignoire) et balconnet. Mobilier de bois antique et minibar (pas de frigo) dans la chambre, haut plafond. Établissement hyperpropre. Petit déjeuner disponible sur demande ($) . Attention, le monsieur à la réception parle vietnamien seulement. Ayez votre traducteur en main et tout ira bien. Il est très gentil.

This is the 3rd backpacker's place in Hanoi I stayed at. I think this is the best. I'll return to this place in future.

Great location, nice room, very clean and above all great staff. Would highly recommend for any travellers but esp. for first-time Hanoi visitors! We stayed at the hotel for 4 nights and the manager (Simon) helped us greatly with advice and honest price ranges for all the sightseeing spots, restaurants, taxis, traintickets and even our trip to halong bay. Couldnt wish for a better start in Hanoi and would come again!!

Great location, right in the action! Cheap! The service staff are very kind people. It is an old building with some fairly poorly maintained features. But it’s an alright place!

I was here with my family for about a week, we were sceptical at first as this is a new establishment. But the moment we arrived at their lobby the staffs proved that we have made a worthy decision. Especially Anne from management, she was very welcoming and informative which helped start a great beginning to our holiday in Hanoi. Rooms are absolutely clean and well organised. Furthermore internet connection was impressive, fast and smooth, only mentioning this as it has been quite a problem with our stay at many hotels in the past. This place is located right in the center of everything, walking distance to Old Quarter, Ho Guom lake, eating streets, markets, etc. Heaps more positive things about this hotel that you should come and experience for yourself. Definitely will be staying here again the next time I’m in Hanoi. Thank you Grand Cititel team for looking after us!

Thanks for the amazing experience at La Mandarina Hotel. The hotel owner and the staffs are very friendly, thoughtful and helpful. When I was there exploring the Old Quarters, they even told me the places to eat and took pictures for me. Really recommend everyone to go there to spend the night. I will come back here when I have another chance to visit Hanoi!

I stay at this hotel in May with Michael who I have stay with before in Hanoi expressive in the old quarters. So I was glad to be back with Michael again after few years! He is so good with me email him to say I was coming again and had answer back over nite. This hotel excellent value for your money and their service is above anything else I have experienced in my travels! Whatever you need Michael will arrange for you whether taxi from airport luxury bus to Sapa or a trip to Halong Bay he will organise. I hope I can stay in Splendid few days more, because it is very comfortable. From the hotel go to tourist attractions in Old Quarter just under 20 minutes by walk. Although we lived in center of Old Quarter but my room very quite and clean. Ms Rose always enthusiastically supported us when we wanted to eat or go shopping. Mr Harry gave us the upgrade room. It is big room and big church view, my wife really liked bath tub in our room. Especially, Mr Dong really took the time to set schedule and book a half 2 week of travel for us. Following very precisely my expectations and trying to find the best fit at good prices. Thanks so much for everything. I love Splendid Hotel

We had a very enjoyable stay at La Sinfonia del Rey. The location was superb next to the Hoan Kiem lake right in the middle of the Old Quarter. All of the staff were extremely friendly and special mention to Rose who greeted us and remembered our names throughout our stay, and to give us recommendations on where to eat while we were in Hanoi. We also wanted to thank the manager who checked us in and had more food recommendations and for the lady who checked us out that gave our son a departing gift. Thank you for having us!
