The location of this hotel is excellent. Is walking distance to all the shops and cafes yet not noisy at all. Is just a minute walk to St Joseph cathedral . This is a small boutique hotel and they provide excellent service. The service offered by the front desk staff Thomas, Lisa and Sunny are one of the best I experienced in a hotel stay. Thank you too for the surprise cake. Hotel room size is not too big though and if you have mobility issue, might want to choose a room with no bath tube as you need to climb in and out of the bath tube for shower.

The hotel staff were incredibly welcoming! Offering pick up and drop off services to and and from the airport. The rooms were clean and comfortable alongside all expected amenities. The breakfast was incredible and totally worth it, a really great start to the day! A convenient area to get around the city with lots around it too! Would 100% go back!

A really lovely hotel in a stunning location. Lovely decor, superb customer service, and very comfy bed. Rooms are small but adequate. Was great to have a bathtub too! Highly recommend this hotel.

We are a couple spending 10 days in North Vietnam. Room type: St Joseph's Double Room What a lovely hotel. ⭐It's very clean and well appointed. I'd hazard a guess its new or completely refitted. The windows were a good size, looking down on the street and curtains kept all the light out. ⭐It's quiet! Double glazing and good walls meant even though it was new year AND we were next to St Joseph's church, we slept soundly. ⭐Service was excellent. No fuss, helpful and not pushy at all. Again, it was new year and they should've been home partying, but all services as normal, well done and thank you. ⭐Bathroom was clean, didnt smell, had a bath and water was scalding hot with good pressure. ⭐Breakfast was buffet with eggs, pancakes and pho to order. Fresh yoghurt and squeezed juices. ⭐We didn't try the onsite Indian restaurant but will when we return. ⭐Location was excellent. Everything is close by. Cafes and Conveniences next door, the church square to the left and the small lake to the right. 10 min walk from Prison museum, 20 mins to West Lake. Honestly preferable to anything near beer street, whether you're a party goer or family. Pity we forgot to take pictures but this is the church next door. Will post on the next review.

Fantastic location for just about anything in the old town. Everything seemed to be in walking distance. The staff were incredibly friendly, if I'm in Hanoi again, I'd consider it.

We had an overall positive experience with our stay. Although some facilities are in need of replacement and improvement (due to years of closure caused by covid) but the excellent service provided by the staff more than made up for it. The dedication and hospitality of the staff created a warm and inviting atmosphere. The staff was welcoming, attentive, and professional. They went out of their way to ensure our comfort and satisfaction throughout our stay. Thank you to Ms Lisa and the entire team for their hard work and exceptional service!

Location and service was perfect! The staff was very friendly and helpful. I'll definitely stay here when I'm back in Hanoi. It is probably the most affordable hotel in Hanoi without sacrificing on the quality. It's very close to the big church, Hoan Kiem Lake and literally across the street from one of the only Starbucks in Vietnam. I will definitely stay here again!

We would absolutely recommend Minerva Church Hotel as all staff go over and above, to make our everyday better! The staff are exceptionally friendly, welcoming, helpful and nothing is too much trouble! We felt as if we were staying with family! Particularly the smiling front desk staff, Lisa, Rory and Sunny were excellent in every single way and we will miss them all when we depart! The room was beautifully appointed, with a very comfortable bed and lovely bathroom! The included breakfast was varied every day and was always delicious and plentiful! The position of the hotel is perfect and very convenient to the magnificent Cathedral and gorgeous lake, not to mention close to great shopping, nails and massages! The Hotel decor is stunning everywhere and is very beautiful!👏🤩👏 Thank- you Minerva Church Hotel, as we would love to return to you one day!
