Hotel berhampiran Mỗ Xá parish church, Hanoi

I and some friends stayed here few years ago and we come back this year as we love this hotel a lot. Everyone works for this hotel is very helpful and hospitality. They supported us a lot during the time we stayed here with them. Hotel is clean and we love everything and of course also the breakfast. We will definitely come back and also introduce to more of our friends. Thanks again for making my trip !

The hotel may be old but most importantly, the rooms are spacious, and it feels like home. And clean. Cleanliness is very important to me. The rooms are ”huge”! I love this 80+sqm size, so nice to have large rooms once & for all !! And toilets are clean & huge! Location is excellent, it's about 10 mins to the Old Quarters but the location around the hotel is good - some nice restaurants & generally much better than staying in the old quarter area which can be hap hazard.

The staff were really friendly, we arrived early from an all nighter of travelling and they were very friendly and let us get into a room before check in time. The location of the hotel was great, right by old town. Unfortunately how ever the place is just in need of some maintenance, the drains were blocked, the sink was leaking any time someone in another room used their water- it for some reason created too much pressure and water came out of our outlet pipe, this meant that we always had a soaking wet bathroom floor. We told them about it but they didn’t seem too surprised. All round good stay- I just hope you don’t end up with the twin room!

Facilities: Guests can enjoy a Japanese-style bathhouse, a thermal-water swimming pool, a fitness center, and a spa offering beauty treatments and massages. The hotel also has a restaurant serving Vietnamese and Japanese cuisine. 4. Service: The staff is frequently praised for their helpfulness and proficiency in multiple languages, including English, Japanese, and Chinese. The housekeeping service is noted for its thoroughness and attentiveness, although they were not able to understand basic English word and it becomes little difficult at times. 5. Breakfast: The breakfast buffet receives positive feedback for its variety and quality, including local dishes like pho. Pros: • Good value for money. • Excellent breakfast options. • Clean and well-maintained facilities. • Friendly and helpful staff. Cons: • Little far from major tourist attractions, but close to Lake and church. • The street outside can be busy and noisy, which might be a drawback for those sensitive to street noise. Overall, Super Hotel Candle is a solid choice for both business and leisure travelers looking for comfortable accommodation with good facilities in a quieter part of Hanoi.

Este hotel está muy cerca del barrio de las embajadas, mucho más tranquilo que el casco antiguo. Se ve bastante nuevo y por tanto reservamos directamente con el establecimiento a través de email (enero 2023) una suite especial del piso 9º (planta noble hasta donde llega el ascensor). Un dormitorio amplio con cama grande (bien de colchón y sábanas), armarios, perchas, ventanales a la ciudad, mesillas, a.a. y tv satélite. Al lado, una sala de estar amplia con muebles, un sofá no muy grande (en las fotos se veían 2 sofás), otro a.a. y otra tv también satélite, un espacio de cocina con frigorífico grande (agua de cortesía) y precio normales. Un buen baño, moderno, amplio, con encimera y amenities, muy buenas toallas y ducha grande con mampara, presión de agua normal y ventana exterior. Bien de limpieza (diaria) y buen wifi. Recepción y zonas comunes suficientes. (2 ascensores y piscina interior). Personal amable. Check-in a las 12 (igual que el check-out). Al principio querían darnos un ático del piso 11, pero nos negamos porque son más pequeños y el ascensor no llega a ese piso. La zona de desayunos es muy pequeña (solo 3 mesas) y tuvimos que desayunar en una de las mesas de recepción (mesas redondas muy pequeñas, pero al menos separados del resto por el tema COVID). Un bufet no muy variado (huevos/tortillas a petición) y no muy bien presentado, además de repetitivo (fruta escasa y solo pan de molde). Si algo se terminaba, había que pedirlo a la camarera, aunque no tardaba mucho en reponerlo. La calle Doi Can es algo estrecha y con tráfico intenso, llena de restaurantes y tiendas, pero el hotel se retranquea de forma que los únicos ruidos que llegan al piso 9º son los ladridos (conitnuos y muy molestos) de los perros de las cercanías. Por otro lado, en esa misma calle tiene parada el bus nº 9, que por 7.000 dongs (unos 30 céntimos de euro) te lleva directo al lago Hoan Kiem en pleno centro (y vuelve por el mismo camino) en unos 20 minutos. El hotel está a minuitos caminando del complejo del mausoleo de Ho Chi Minh, Pagoda del Pilar Único, Museo de Historia Militar, Ciudad Imperial, Palacio Presidencial y Templo de la Literatura. Transfer al aeropuerto por unos 12€. En resumen: un buen apartamento en una buena zona tranquila (mejor que en el caso antiguo), por un precio ajustado para la calidad ofertada (1.100.000 dongs por noche con desayuno, es decir, unos 43€), si bien los desayunos pueden mejorar bastante.

Great little boutique hotel. We upgraded to a Honeymoon room to have a bit more room and windows. The staff were extremely welcoming and friendly- shout out to Mr Hoang and Miss Anne who were fabulous and their trainee who had little English but always a big smile on his face. We found it to be very clean and in a great location, everything was a short walk away- the lake, night market, prison and train and beer streets. They arranged our airport pick up for not much more than a taxi would have been. Breakfast included was pretty basic but I think adequate for the price. We were happy to have an egg cooked or some toast or sometimes go out to one of the many cafes for a traditional coffee and croissant as it’s so cheap. Definitely recommend.

こちらのホテルは4泊5日の日程で利用しましたが、部屋は常に清潔で、クーラーは強力、朝食ビュッフェもとてもおいしかったです。特に牛肉フォーは外の有名レストランのそれよりおいしかったし、毎朝のベトナムアイスコーヒーも外のカフェと変わらないくらい美味しく、大満足です。また旅行最終日、日本へのフライトが深夜だったのですが、チェックアウトした後もシャワーを使わせてくれてとても助かりました。（あのままだと汗をかいたまま飛行機に乗らないといけなかったため）ホテルのスタッフ皆が親切でしたが、JennyとMには特に親切にしてもらいました。素晴らしい体験をありがとう！ I stayed at this hotel for 4 nights and 5 days, the room was always clean, the air conditioner was powerful, and the breakfast buffet was very good. In particular, the beef pho was better than that of the famous restaurant outside, and the Vietnamese iced coffee every morning was as delicious as the café outside, and I was very satisfied. Also, on the last day of the trip, my flight to Japan was late at night, but they let me use the shower even after checking out, which was very helpful. All the hotel staff were very nice (because I had to get on the plane sweating as it was), but Jenny and M were especially helpful. Thanks for the great experience!

Very nice boutique hotel in the middle of the Old quarter near shops and restaurants. Staff were very friendly and helpful. They really go out of their way to help you as needed. The rooms are clean and the beds are comfortable. Great air conditioning. Breakfast was very good and a lot of choices. It is buffet style and you can also order different foods like Pho, banana pancake, Vietnamese egg rolls and so much more.

Very beautiful view and area. Lots of playgrounds. The apartment is new and clean. There is everything you need. Responsive owner 🥰🥰 I recommend it wholeheartedly.

A brand new hotel that’s been running for about 7-8 months. Staff were friendly but not too experienced in reaching out to customers for extra mile. They could be proactive enough to offer new visitors a more memorable experience. For example, they would ask you to pay more for an upgrade if you wanted. They have available rooms around but it was not that easy they could upgrade you easiest in any easygoing action. Restaurants were all closed on Chinese New Year Eve of 2024 Feb. 9. All food have to be ordered for in room service and you’d have waited for 45-60 minutes for arrival time. Nail files were not available. The door design of bathing rooms had some issues. Gym reception staff were not around and you’d have to take care of yourself. Some staff were not able to follow up for something they promised to do so for you.
