Excellent place great accommodation good restaurant on site nice swimming pool area hippo hide impala and kudos roaming wild great place for breakfast overlooking the sabie river golf course on the site golf shop selling shirts caps and other accessories

KPL is a very tired resort. From the get go I was sorry I booked into this place. About the only positive is that it's convenient to the shopping centers and to Phabeni Gate. The receptionist was quite incompetent in that she gave incorrect directions and keys to the wrong chalet. Batteries only worked for one of the air con units and no others, and not for the tv. Only one tiny ice cube tray with tiny ice cubes. One toilet seat was cracked, one bathtub had grout that was moldy, entire unit was very musty and I found it difficult to breathe. The owner of my unit, Shaheen was a terrible communicator. When I shared with the assistant GM my experiences at check in he wasn't particularly empathetic and I did expect a bottle of wine as that would be what any respectable GM would do to ameliorate such a series of mistakes, but this GM, did nothing. KPL markets itself as a luxury establishment yet there is litter around the property, I found cigarette butts that had been there for days on my walks, various bits of plastic on the ground. The place is tired. No updates since 2011 I believe. You can hear your neighbors talking as the walls are paper thin.

The service at Kruger Park Lodge was truly exemplatory. Houses are serviced daily and are of top quality. The location is conveniently close to the Phabeni and Kruger gates of Kruger National Park. I love that gardens are kept magnificently, and water purifying processes was implemented. Animal life is around and flowers and trees are lucious. New additions are visible when returning year after year. Load shedding has been restricted with solar installations. Currently Fibre is being installed. Upgrades are done continuously on units.

Kruger Park Lodge still offers great value when visiting this beautiful part of the world. 9 hole golf as well as close proximity to the Phabeni gate and entrance to the Kruger National Park. Offers a relaxing stay with good dining options as well if you are tired of self catering.

A most enjoyable week spent at Kruger Park Lodge. We would certainly return in the future. Our family members played tennis and golf. Hey also enjoyed running in the safety of the resort.

Unit was well equipped and had a lovely position on the pond. Was lovely to sit having coffee in the am watching the animals that live a the pond. Bathrooms need a bit of an overhaul but otherwise we had a wonderful time.

Overall a lovely place to visit and is worth every cent in annual levy costs. Menu in the restaurant is fairly limited - no decent fish meals available other than standard battered fish and chips

Great place to stay and relax and well maintained. Just a pity they lack to communicate to me that my booked unit on the river was not available and that I will be moved to another unit. Maybe it was too much trouble to them to let me know.
