Star Beach Village & Water Park

很不好的一次體驗， 設施：國內全季也比這裏好，最多3星 衞生：好多螞蟻🐜 環境：沙灘和孩子玩水的地方還是不錯的 服務：很差，水每天衹給兩瓶 關鍵我訂的是5張床，給我的是4張床！肯定不推薦去住這家酒店，食物好鹹！

The pool club was amazing. We came for 2 full days. The pool is great, the chairs and champagne were very nice. The highlight of the place was the DJ. He was one of the best i’ve heard so far. Also the pool and bar personnel was amazing. Overall the entire atmosphere was very pleasant.

Honestly one of the best all inclusive hotels we have ever visited. From the golf buggy to the room on arrival, to the all inclusive remaining available to us all day following checkout on the last day. Excellent location, lovely sea views, and the food particularly in the main restaurant was beautiful. We ate out twice and regretted it both times. Hersonissos is very nice, expensive for drinks (stallis cheaper 2 euro 10 min bus trip) If I was forced to pick 1 criticism it would be that the main pool is not very central and a bit of a treck from the slides, The drinks quality is fantastic with good quality spirits, the rum for example is Havana club which is around 8 euro a glass outside of the hotel to put it in perspective. All staff were happy at all times and so helpful. To sum up definitely worth paying the extra compared to other hotels! Already reccomend to friends and family

Overall we really liked Star Beach. We chose 2 studio rooms in the Anex as our boys are 14 & 18 and a little past sharing a room with mum and dad. These rooms are nice, enough storage for clothes but the bathrooms are very small. Manageable, but small. There is a tunnel to walk through to take you over to the main resort and reception. This tunnel is about 5ft high, so anyone taller has to stoop and walk through, and it bring you out onto the road: you’re better just crossing the busy road, as the cars do slow and let you past. Food is nice. There is an Asian restaurant and a Greek restaurant on site, these you have to book in advance. We were told this, but we’re planning on eating at the main buffet. One night this wasn’t very good so we chanced it and went to both restaurants. They both had 20 + empty tables but we still weren’t allowed to sit down. As we left someone arrived and their booking hadn’t been written down, they popped them straight on the list and found them a table, not sure why they could t offer us the same ?! Snack bars are ok, pizza, toasties, burgers. Highly recommend the noodle snack bar in the water park !! The slides are good, as is the water park area for younger children. There is a club vibe to this resort, but the music is usually done at the water park by about 9pm so never disturbed us. We did head out for a few meals. Old town Malia is €20 and 10mins in a taxi, with lovely restaurants. You can also walk along the beach front and within 10mins find places to eat. We booked jet skiing near the Greek restaurant. It’s a lot cheaper here than on the Star beach front. 15mins €80 pp and the 2nd person €20 compared to the excursion centre was 30mins for 1 jet ski, 1 or 2 people €100 so double the time for the same price: Get up early for your dinners. By 10am they are all gone. However, near the VIP area on the water park they have some lovely padded beds,which Star beach people can use. Also the beach has loads of beds. Bar staff are really nice. Entertainment staff are really good too. Reception staff are mostly great and super helpful, there is 1 guy who is so so rude !! Hopefully you don’t have to deal with him !! We did have a problem with our toilet that was constantly flushing, it never got sorted but we managed to jiggle it a little and stop the water. All in all a great holiday. Good pretty good. We would come again

We have just returned from our second stay - myself, my husband, and our two daughters (3 and 8 years old) - and we really enjoyed it. All the services were perfect, and the hotel staff did an excellent job. For example, we celebrated our daughter's 3rd birthday, and the night before her birthday, we ordered a cake in the main hotel restaurant. The next day at dinner, the managers and waiters gathered and brought a perfect chocolate cake and sang "Happy Birthday" to our daughter. Another great employee was the cleaning lady in our family room in the Apollo building. She made sure our rooms, beds, and bathroom were beautifully clean every day. I must also mention the reception. Rooms are supposed to be vacated by 11 a.m., but since I had an involuntary visit to the local hospital, we asked at the reception to extend the checkout until 12 a.m., and the receptionist Myron kindly granted our request at no extra charge. As for the doctor, a local physician from a private medical facility is on duty at the hotel every day at a specific time - from 9:15 to 10:30 a.m. - and our travel insurance covered everything. The trip there, the treatment, the medication, and the trip back to the hotel. This was our second stay at the hotel, and it's clear that the facilities are well taken care of. The old playground in the pool for the little ones was replaced with a new one featuring small slides and water slides. And what I haven't mentioned yet is the excellent food, with a large selection to choose from, and a different theme every evening, offering various types of hot dishes. The bars are staffed by amazing people as well, and throughout the complex, we encountered most of the same staff as last year, which also indicates that the hotel takes good care of its employees, ensuring they are happy and can bring joy to those who come to enjoy life. We are looking forward to next year again!!!

Star Beach Crete is well-located, about 25 minutes from the airport. It’s a fairly large resort with spacious rooms. The food is average, and the pools are small, catering mainly to young children. While there’s an excellent and convenient water park nearby with no lines, the resort lacks a large swimming pool and a covered pool. The dining areas are adequate, with seating always available. The quality of the food is reasonable but nothing exceptional. The two on-site restaurants offer a wide variety of dishes, but the quality remains average. The bars within the resort are convenient, though the selection of drinks is limited. Service throughout the resort is good. The beach has two excellent bars that serve good lunches for kids, and there’s an additional bar offering excellent desserts. However, it’s important to note that no food should be brought into the rooms, as it will attract ants immediately!

The water park is great for kids, and the waiter and waitress George and Diana were so welcoming every day in the main resteraunt. Food was nice. However I would not stay here again due to the room 2002 being ant infested! On 2 occasions 1st being all over the side, requested a move but said couldn’t accommodate. On the 2nd occasion walking in the room after a 2 hour walk at 9pm with 3 children to an ant infested bed! Went to reception requested a move again to be told no and that a housekeeper would come and spray and change the bed! Told the reception that was not acceptable as I have an autistic child that was distraught after seeing this along with the rest of us! Who wants to pay all that money to have your bed covered in ants! Reception shown no compassion attal and even the next day said they couldn’t change our room again! So instead had to deal with ants the 8 night duration of stay! Discusting.

The hotel was amazing. It was really fun. The food was really good, the staff were nice. The animation crew was really nice and entertaining especially, Gregory and Nicolas. The guy at the water slides, (I never learned his name) was very nice as well. I was there for a week and by the end of the week almost every bartender learned what drink I wanted. I’m gonna miss it really much but I’m definitely coming back in the future.

The hotel itself is in a great location, to the town & beach itself. Although you have to risk your life by crossing a very busy road in order to get the local shop (Spar) on the other side. Upon arrival the receptionists were not very helpful or forthcoming with information & no welcome pack was in the room giving additional information. I.E check out time, etc. We discovered during the stay of 8 nights that not all areas are covered even after paying for all inclusive & there is no information given to you to indicate this. For example the adult only areas can only be used if you pay for a sunbed etc! So if you are not coming with kids & want an adult only area be prepared to pay for some peace & quiet. Also certain bars located within the hotel grounds are also not accessible & you are told to go to a different bar. We found the professionalism of staff to be low. Staff are not overly friendly or approachable & not certainly not happy. In the main restaurant there is not enough staff to cater for the amount of guests. Tables are not cleared & reprepared for new guests. Food is basic, even though theme nights take place overall the food is the same everyday. Theme nights are not advertised till that night when you walk in to the restaurant… We did book the Asian star restaurant & wow! What a good selection of choice & high quality tasting food! This was our favourite dinner all holiday. Although a mistake had been made & our reservation had not been noted correctly. However as it was only for a table of 2 they were able to accommodate us. We found the room itself to be full of ants on a daily basis. No food was eaten in the room, no fizzy drinks. Only water & tea/coffee was drunk in the room. The ants were in the beds, bathroom, dressing table, unit under the tele & also crawling up & down the wall all the way to the door frame of the bathroom!! Tea & coffee products were not topped up daily & we ended up resulting in purchasing our own. We came as two sisters & the 2 twin beds were pushed together (which is fine) however one large sheet was put over the bed which then meant that single sheets could not be tucked in the side of the bed. Beds were also not made & the sheet & blanket were folded at the end of the bed for it to be made by yourselves. Not always the correct amount of bathroom towels were provided. One day we had 2 beetles in the shower. Come back after the room was cleaned. One was removed & swept outside on the terrace & the other still in the bottom of the shower! The pools were crowded, not once did we see them get cleaned or sun loungers or patio areas. The pools seem like they are never shut as people are still in them at 10pm at night so no chance to have them properly cleaned! Bins around the grounds were not always emptied. We put rubbish in a main bin so it didn’t attract ants in our room & 24hours later it was still on top of the bin. Entertainment gave a variety for everyone which we did find to be good. Lo
