The hotel is amazing with delicious meals and comfy hot spring , the view from my room is spectacular that the sea is very close! All staff are very friendly and welcoming, will definitely recommend and come back again if I visit Beppu !

Very good in general. More suitable for self drive traveller's.

a very nice Onsen resort with a luxury feel.  there isn't any other facilities beside the Onsen in the hotel.  location is rather off and it prefer that you drive.  Excellent staff providing excellent service.

Awesome lobby, incredible seaview, great service, competent and very polite staff, good food, room very clean, onsen is great with free branded amenities choices 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻. location is a bit off, fortunately have shuttle. Special thanks to Harada san 👍🏻👍🏻 helped to arrange smooth transfer from hotel to airport. Appreciate the hospitality from quite a number of multilingual staff 👏🏻👏🏻. Onsen is great, unlimited free drinks! 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻coffee, coke, green tea, etc 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻 Breakfast is good, value for money, nice to try. Dinner is 90-mins semi buffet, no choice for the set, special arrangement if you don’t eat beef, but take some time. Lots of wine varieties, if you don’t drink alcohol, the dinner price is NOT worth. My comment: Highly recommended. need to have car, my case is with sudden car break down with no replacement. Grandvrio did a great job!👏🏻👏🏻

Excellent!  A very big thumb up! 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻 Awesome onsen, grand lobby, incredible seaview, unlimited drinks, excellent staff and clean facilities and places. Those are my descriptions to this hotel. I have a very pleasant stay with parents (aged 80+) and highly recommend! Surprising me is the front desk, can speak fluent English, Korean, etc. Special thanks to Harada san 👍🏻, she did a great job and arrange a shuttle to drive us to the airport bus stop.  Drivers are very kind as well! Breakfast is good, value for money, lots of choices, Japanese style( like sashimi rice, mackerel, salmon for grilled) and Western(toast, salad) are very fresh. Highly recommended! For dinner, this is 90 mins semi buffet style…. Nice to try, due to the “semi” set does not offer choices, and we don’t eat beef, Huy (restaurant staff) nicely offer to change to pork (takes 10 minutes to prepare) and take another 5-6 min to cook.  To me, a bit rush to get other food to finish, especially you are accompanied with disabled parents! Anyway, thanks to him, we got special menu - seafood, for my second night dinner. Honestly, the price is expensive, not worth for people don’t drink alcohol. But if you are an alcoholic, there is wide range of choices. cocktail, chardonnay, etc are soso! One “cons” is the location is a bit off from Beppu JR, if u drive, highly recommended, my case is the car break down (Toyota shop really disappointing) especially u carry aged 80+ disabled parents.

1st stay/visit at this Grandvrio Onsen. Our 3D2N stay was very relaxing & enjoyable; internal amenities & service was excellent & impeccable. Hope to visit/stay again within the next 12 months ☝️👍

It's pretty average. It's only accessible by taxi, but the upside is you get ocean views.
