30年前の同僚との集まり 昨年から日田にお世話になってる一番の先輩、その人の下に参集 それが、この宿でした 温泉も、特に露天が優れていて、珍しい飲む温泉がありました しょっぱいような微妙な味・・ 夕食、豪華な品がいっぱい 美味しかった❗ ゆっくり出来ました‼️

人生に一度の新婚旅行。コロナ禍でのびにのび、結局国内でいい宿を探して泊まることに決め、行き先ははじめての九州。かやうさぎは、雑誌、ホームページや口コミをみて、古い物が好きな私達にぴったりだと思い、2人で何枚も写真をみて隠れ倉のお部屋を選び、最終日に利用しました。 今、北海道に帰ってきて改めて、今まで泊まった宿の中で最悪だったなぁと思います。仕方のない要因や事情はあるのだろうと思います。それでも、「多忙な日常を離れ、昔ながらの和の空間でゆっくり暮らすように過ごしてほしい」「古き良きものに囲まれて、昔暮らしを愉しむ」というコンセプトをかがけているのに！楽しみにしていたのに！お金を払ったのに！と悔しく思います。 まず、コンセプト以前に、サービス業としてどうなのかいう部分が多々ありました。スタッフ一人一人の愛想はよいのかもしれない。アットホームなのだと言われれば、納得せざるを得ない？のですが。 今思えば、そもそも宿に着くまでに、工業地帯をぬけ、こんなところにあのホームページでみた宿があるのか？と不安な気持ちになりました。駐車場には人がおらず、フロントらしきものが見当たらず、車を降りて自分たちで荷物を持ちながら付近をうろうろしていると、物腰柔らかな女性が近づいてきて、スタッフなのかどうかすらわからず、突然私のキャリーを持ち運び、内風呂と露天風呂の説明がはじまり、チェックイン。どこがカウンターでどこに腰掛けていいのかもわからず立ち尽くすという所から始まりました。 そこから隠れ倉までは荷物を運んでくれました。お部屋の中の説明はしてくれましたが、スタッフがいなくなり説明のなかった扉を開ける時には、肝試しのような気持ちになりました(トイレの扉と外に続くただの扉、布団が入った扉でした)。古いものなのだろうなという骨董品類も写真とは違う配置で、統一感なく、なんというか、怖かったです。エアコンやスイッチの装飾は手作り感が満載、気になって落ち着きません。色々な顔のうさぎがいすぎてなんだか秘宝館や博物館の展示物の中に泊まらされているようで全く休まりませんでした。昔ながらの和の空間とは、こういうものなのでしょうか？ 朝食の説明がなく、こちらから電話をしました。今思えばおかしな話です。サイン計画・灯りの配置も雑で道に迷ってしまいます。スタッフが外で一服する姿が見え隠れしていて、嫌な気持ちになりました。夕食なしのプランでしたので、外に食べにでましたが、宿に戻りたくないねと話していました。それでも最終日、疲れもありますしキャンセル料もかかるので、戻って内風呂に入ると水が出てこない。厚めのお湯につかって、布団に入ると、大雨の音なのか川の音なのかとにかく屋根にあたる水の音がうるさくて何度も目が覚めました。一階に布団をもって移動しました。間接照明がなく(あったのかもしれないけど説明がない)真っ白な光か真っ暗かで落ち着かない中、たたみの上で雑魚寝しました。ゲジゲジがいる畳の上でです。 ご飯の評価が高かったので、せめてもの期待で朝食会場へ向かいました。既に並べられたおかずの上に小さな虫がはっていました。美味しいものもありましたが、食べながら大雨警報や洪水警報(注意報？)のアナウンス、スタッフ同士のお話が耳に入ってきて、ゆっくり楽しめませんでした。アナウンスは、私達には聞きなれない内容ですし、熱海のニュースのすぐ後でしたので、不安に感じ、気象庁のホームページもチェックしながらスタッフに話しかけると「しょっちゅうですよ」「川もあるし近くにダムもあるので」と笑って返されました。スタッフには日常かもしれませんが、不安に思う私達によりそう一言はないのでしょうか。不安が伝わっていなかったとしたら、想像力が足りないのでしょうか。サービス業に期待しすぎでしょうか。旅行の最終日、一生に一度の思い出になるはずでしたが、正直お金を返してほしいほど、市街のビジネスホテルに泊まった方がマシでした。 温泉はよかったです。でもそれなら、他にもたくさんあるので、また行きたいとは思いませんでした。

The minute you walk in, you relinquish your shoes. Everywhere is tatami and so we walk in our socks or indoor shoes, an immediate plus and relaxing moment. Our room was called The Annex. It is apart from the hotel. The Annex is Japanese with tatami and western beds, very comfortable. When we approached the front door, the views off the private garden were gorgeously dramatic mountain cliffs and there are views of other mountains and the stream from the other side of The Annex as well. Spacious and open and extremely comfortable. While many rooms come with a private dining room in the restaurant, the private eating room associated with the Annex also has another private garden with views of the mountains. A small note: All liquids in the frig are complimentary, nice touch! The service was excellent, well trained. The food was delicious even though we have many dietary limits - like no meat, pork, heavy oils. They accommodated our restrictions with delicious, fresh fish and vegetables and fruit. The onsens, even though public access as well, were clean and designed beautifully. We've been to many ryokans this year, mainly in Kyushu since we live here. This onsen had the most beautiful facilities - and the views were drop dead gorgeous. My jaw literally dropped when I saw the view from the onsen with the lounge chairs in the steaming water - and what an amazing onsen that was!!! After much thought, the only downside is the outdoor tub in the Annex, which is really not an onsen since it used chlorinated water and the two of us had to squeeze in. Having said that, we already booked our next stay in the spring and cannot wait to return.

10〜11月の週末に三隈川で花火があがると知り、3歳の子供に見せたくて宿泊しました。部屋は川側だったため、部屋の中から間近に花火を見ることができました。たった5分なので、大人のわたしたちはあまり期待してませんでしたが、予想を裏切る迫力と球数で、本当に良かったです！船から見るプランもあるようですが、部屋からで十分楽しめました。 ホテル自体はかなり古いようですが、部屋はリニューアルされてるのか、きれいで広く快適です。ただ、トイレ風呂はかなり年季を感じました。食事は朝食のみ付けましたが、種類が豊富で美味しかったです。パン、飲み物、ご飯、生*等はセルフで食べ放題でした。3歳の子供の食事は付けてませんでしたが、ご飯とお味噌汁をいただけて、あとは大人のをちょこちょこで十分でした。 翌日はトゥクトゥクに無料で乗れるイベントをやっていたので、ホテル前から乗ってみました。豆田に行ってホテルに戻ってくるルートで、大人も子供も街並みを楽しめました。もしやってたら、おすすめです。 ロビーの子供用おもちゃは3歳児でも遊べるものがたくさんありました。また、コーヒー紅茶の無料サービスも利用時間が長くてよかったです！

ホテルの周辺は自然に囲まれ、空気が清新で美味しかったです。森林や公園が近くに広がり、散歩やジョギングを楽しむのに最適な環境でした。朝晩は特に新鮮な空気が感じられ、開放的な空間でリラックスできました。客室からの眺望も素晴らしく、自然の美しさを満喫できました。また、ホテル内にはオープンスペースエリアがあり、その中で食事をすることができ、非常に心地よい雰囲気でした。自然に恵まれた環境で滞在することで、日常の喧騒から離れた穏やかな時間を過ごすことができました。写真は近くのレストランです。

お部屋は古かったですけど、お風呂も柔らかくてったですし、お料理は全て出来立てで、熱くてとても美味しかったです。 又是非行きたいです、

I booked a night's stay here to visit the Attack on Titan's locations in Hita. My luggage lock was problematic and I sought help from the counter staff. They helped me to resolve it in under one minute! Thank you so much! (I'm sorry I forgot to ask for staff's names, but I'm very grateful) The hotel also provides mangas to read, including Shingeki no Kyojin. The memories of Hita became very good.
