Right opposite saigon river, we booked type river view and it was so beautiful! Buffet was sumptuous!

This hotel has a history of a hundred years, so you can tell the sense of age from the room equipment. If you like history, you can consider it, but if you like modernity, it is not suitable. What is worthy of praise is that the hotel is in an excellent location. It is located in the downtown area of Ho Chi Minh. You can see the beautiful scenery of the Saigon River. It is beautiful in the morning and evening. It is very convenient to go anywhere. In addition, the breakfast was delicious and the hotel staff were well-trained and helped me deal with room problems quickly. I highly praise the service staff.

Personally i really like the hotel very much. Dont be fool by the appearance. Though it is gg to be 100 years old next year, it is beautifully maintained. I got the river view and the room is very spacious and high ceiling. The king size bed and pillows are very comfy. Both bedside power points are using 2pins type but they do provide 1 adapter for you. Love the antique phone which u will use to call the reception. Toilet is big but will be good if the water basin area has table to put toiletries bag. The hand shower spray is located in abit low above the bath tub. The water pressure is ok but the hot water is not consistent. The shampoo and bath gel smell really good however i would prefer they use those bigger refillable bottles where u can just press. For the aircon, it is cold and not surprisingly they are using those single/multi split type. For the TV, think they are using 43inch, will be good to have bigger one as the distance to the bed is kind of far. The breakfast has good spread and are very delicious compared to Hilton and Sheraton in Phu Quoc which i just went last wk. It has a good view of the river too. Overall, it is highly recommended and it is very near to attractions too.

Staffs are super nice and room is clean. Besides the view from the top is amazing. Also surprisingly that got an upgrade to suite room so it’s very spacious. Very easy to access the city center with all office buildings and shopping malls. Breakfast is good. Both Pho and Bahn Mi are superb!

The rooms are huge and at an excellent location!

Very good location, next to a river, beautiful view , not far from the heart of old city centre. Staff service is good. The negatives are loud traffic noice , poor room lightings and very soft beds.

The service is 5 star, restaurants 5 star. Perhaps you might call the hotel dated but this is its charm to have a feel for old good days.

My daughter and I had a great stay at the Majestic Saigon. The hotel is located close to many attractions. The staff are helpful and friendly especially Ms Nguyen at the reception. I would like to thank them for organising a surprise birthday cake and flowers for my daughter.

Fabulously located on the Saigon river and in a historic building, this hotel has a few architectural wonders. However, the staff is not helpful, sometimes rude, the service is minimal for a 5 stars, no welcome drink, bellboy wont leave the room without a significant tip for 2 carry-ons. Buffet Breakfast ok but the bread, pastries and coffee are subpar for Vietnam. Avoid building C, (new construction), smaller bedrooms and very humid, even the linens were damp.

Nice historic hotel in downtown Ho Chi Minh. Nice rooms and tasty breakfast on the rooftop. Recommended

Very good trip

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at this hotel. It was a great stop on my way through Asia and he breather from the very bubbling city of Hanoi.  The hotel was really well situated and I really enjoyed myself in this city. I would strongly recommend you get a room with a view because it will allow you to enjoy the site of the boats.
