Hotel Coconut by Mij

We decided to stay here because of the pool. It ended up being totally cloudy every day and no way I’m swimming in something I can’t see the bottom. The rooms are very rustic. I don’t know how you can clean them when it’s all wooden walls and cement floors and just, not great the beds were hard. The linens were fine and the towels were thin but fine I would think this is a step up from a hostel, but they are charging hotel prices. The staff was very nice and the cleaning staff as well.

Stayed here as part of a group tour with trutravels and couldn't recommend enough! The staff are so nice and friendly here. The hotel is right beside the only atm in holbox which is great! The pool is gorgeous. The cabins are cosy and secure. The Aircon is very good which is a must in Holbox! Beds very comfortable and made every day. Would definitely return here!

We booked for 2 nights and I am not sure in between "average" or "very good" stay. Our first night was a nightmare and any person booking there should know: they are cabanas, meaning that yes, it looks cute, but they are really not soundproof. We were on the left side when you enter in the patio, and on the floor level. The people in the room above us were very loud (3 guys, speaking loud, moving furniture or seems so). But worst part was the little private fiesta some guests had until 04:00am (singing, yelling). The next day we mentioned it to the reception and they seemed surprised, reassuring that they have a night guard. There is no way they had one that night. Depending on which side you are located, you might also be close to the road, with some traffic depending on the time of the night... Apart of that, we loved: - the location: you do not need a taxi from the ferry place and everything is so close, including the main ATM on the island! - the cleanliness: the place was very clean, so was the pool. - Bedding: very comfy beds - the towels: fresh towels provided (bath and pool towels), smelling good and in perfect condition. It is fine for 2 nights, but if you are looking for a place to rest and enjoy the calm, do not stay there.

Très bruyant entre les voitures buggy toute la journée, le matin dés 6h. Dommage cela massacre toute l’île en plus. Ils auraient pu mettre des voitures électriques. Les chambres sont très simples. Pas de verre, pas de bouilloire… rien à dispo. Les chambres du rez de chaussée n’ont même pas de chaises ni de table sur la terrasse. La salle de bain très vieillissante. Musique à fond, bref très déçu

Alloggio situato a 5 min a piedi dal porto e 10 min dalla spiaggia. Le camere sono molto rustiche con pareti in legno che non garantiscono isolamento termico/sonoro; presenza di condizionatore. Nel bagno non si apriva il rubinetto poiché “incastrato” nella parete di legno. Non ho provato la piscina in quanto era sporca. No colazione. Personale di reception parla solo spagnolo e nonostante sia indicata presenza dalle 7 alle 23, la presenza è parziale.

La persona de recepción que se hace llamar caro extremadamente grosera demasiado confirmamos tenemos confirmación del hotel y al llegar nos dijeron que no era posible ya que ellos tuvieron el error y aún a si nos dejaron en la calle
