Ulasan M1 Hotel North Point

There are disgusting smells at the main entrance. The room is not clean and has a wierd fishy smell when checked in (attached photos). The fridge in the room worked as a freezer and froze the milk and eggs to totally iced. Talked to the front desk, got a reply “maybe the weather gets cooler and the fridge turns into a freezer”. It’s the most speechless answer I have ever heard from a hotel front desk. Would recommend the Ramada nearby with a similar price.

First off, if you're taller than 175cm, I'd recommend staying elsewhere – the bed is too short. **Facilities:** The facilities are quite old, but they have everything you need. The wallpaper is even taped up. I really wish they'd get rid of the bedding that looks like the one in picture four. I brought my own disposable duvet cover and sprayed it with disinfectant, but I still felt itchy, which never happens at other places. Plus, the bed is too short; I'm 174cm tall. Realistically, no one sleeps with their head completely at the headboard; it's always centered on the pillow. My feet were practically at the edge of the bed, sometimes even dangling off. And the mattress is so uncomfortable; after the first night, my entire back hurt, it felt like I hadn't slept at all, and I was so tired. **Hygiene:** The hygiene is actually okay, considering the price. In fact, the lobby on the first floor is much nicer than the rooms; seeing the lobby, I didn't expect the rooms to be so run-down. **Environment:** It's located inside a wet market, so it feels chaotic when you step out. There's also a strong smell from the meat stalls. However, since I was on a higher floor, I didn't really hear it once I was back in the hotel. **Service:** Check-in was alright. It wasn't as good an experience as checking into other hotels. Even though it's close to the subway and convenient for getting around, I probably won't choose this hotel again. During the off-season, I've stayed in much more comfortable places for the same price.

Reasonable price. Facilities a bit old, but acceptable. Location is okay, convenience.

Washroom decoration is nice. The rest, are just above the average. If you don’t have special expectation you deserve what u pay for.

The room is pretty big for the price in HK. It's a little old but location is brilliant. Will stay again.

Alley going to the hotel is dark. Scary to walk especially at night. You need to pass in a market before reaching the entrance of the hotel

Wall paper peeling off, not enough hot water for shower, front counter staff not very professional, need HK$1,000 security deposit, noisy room.

The room is quite dark and the lights aren't bright enough. When taking a shower the water's temperature isn't stable,it suddenly becomes too cold or hot.

Location is convenient. Room is great but no toothbrush paste and soap

No hot water in the bathroom, and the phone rang suddenly at midnight!

Staying at this hotel for two days is fine, but not for a longer stay. If you're staying longer, they only change bedding and bath towels every four days. You have to bring your own toiletries and even your own bath towels. If you want to exchange a bath towel with a staff member, it costs 20 RMB per towel. I've stayed at the hotel next door, and they have daily housekeeping. This hotel, however, seriously lacks in cleanliness. The internet is also unstable.

Place was okay. Very simple design. Location is very convenient.
