The host was very nice and friendly. He gave us a lot of info about the local attractions. The room was extremely clean though, but the water flow was a bit slow due to low water pressure. We don’t think this is an issue though, because it didn’t affect our showers but just think that it’s something we need to mention about. In terms of location, I would consider it as inconvenient, because there’s a 10mins walk to the main road and cars can’t drive through because there’s no road/ paths nearby the house. For drivers x you do need to park your car outside where about 10mins walk away. In terms of cleanliness and quietness, this place is an extremely clean, and the host actually asked us to leave our shoes outside the room. Also, I haven’t found any dust or dirt in this house. In terms of view, we were not arranged to a room with any views, which is kinda disappointed. As far as I know there were other rooms occupied at the same time, and they were on the second floor and third floor. Unfortunately, they are the rooms that have views. In terms of facilities, we actually didn’t manage time to cook or BBQ at this place. Guests can actually use the kitchen and BBQ at the backyard.

Good location and easy transport based on clear directions from the hotel requested by me prior to check in. Basic and simple check in process without any directions from the reception staff. Room is surprisingly tiny even though I have booked a 18 sq.m Seaview double room , their largest size room ! Room is suitably fitted for this class of hostel , no complain actually quite happy with it, but all the walls need refurbish last year and are in pretty bad shape now. We have booked a 3 nights stay, however the room attendant only agreed to change the towels after 2 nights stay and actually I have to ask again b4 getting the clean towels on my 3rd day of stay, not very good arrangement. Hostel is located right next to the main road so traffic noise is a problem, need to close all balcony doors & windows and use air-con to have a quiet stay. Fairly good WiFi connection all around as I have upto 6 items connected at the same time, that's essential ! There is a suitably fitted small (3 sqm. total are1.5 sq. m. actual workable area) kitche/pantry area available for the room guests to cook/warm up their food, it is a very welcome facility as no restaurants are operating nearby for most of the time ! Well it is very crowded during meals period in, needless to say. The hosel is well located in the middle of all scenic spots of Lantau Island, long beaches/monastery /walking trails/ fishing village, you name it so very good traveling base for a few days of relaxing scenic trips. Well, based on the reasonable room rates charged, I have no complains and actually quite enjoyed it and will certainly return again . And why such a long review and many comments, I'm a 30 years hotel veteran, what do you expect from me ? 😄

I stayed there for one night to take some photos of the beautiful lanterns which will be light up at night during September. They have 3 rooms for booking only. My room is sea facing. it is clean and spacious for 2 people. A common area is outside the room, you can play some board games with friends there, the roof is open to all guest, you can see the stars at night with some beers.

Always wanted to come and this place doesn't disappoint at all. Incredible view of sunset and tranquility. A little stroll from the fisherman village where you see an unexpected side of Hong Kong. Highly recommend, worth every penny.
