Nice encapsulated venue. Everything you need in one spot albeit more expensive. As per usual Resort Fees added that don't enhance the stay. They have DVD rentals because the tvs are outdated (non-smart). Resort is still kinda worth it since other hotels in the area decrease in quality. I was only r here for a conference. Wouldn't stay as a traveler, might stay if i was a lazy couple or had a large family. The hotel deals only benefit members, if youre a non-member and went a deal...for example, reduced fee on rooftop lau (original price 230usd per person) you need to sit through a 2 hour timescam...time share to get a ticket for 50 usd. Views frim the beach and lagoon are nice.

This is the 5th time I have stayed at the Moana Surfrider the location and style of the hotel is unbeatable. You must book a room with beach views the city view rooms can be noisy. The hotel it’s self is beautiful. The staff are very professional and helpful. The rooms are a generous size for a couple. The pool is small but you can use the partner hotels next door. They have an accessible bar and the breakfast is great. I will definitely be staying here again.

The Ritz Carlton Waikiki delivers a true 5-star experience. From the minute you arrive to when you leave you are greeted by name whether in person or on the phone. Our special requests were either met or exceeded. The room was super-clean and well stocked with more than enough towels, robes and slippers, coffee and tea. Requests for more hangers, a bucket of ice or anything else were taken care of without delay. The bed was super-comfortable, as good as any I’ve experienced in a hotel. The staff were, without exception, professional, courteous and super-friendly at all times. We didn’t eat in any of the restaurants but the Dean and DeLuca store was a good source of pastries and coffee to bring back to the room. The view we had was ocean and, it’s worth noting, sitting on the lanai was a bit noisy, this is a very urban and busy location so the upside is it’s close to shopping. The adult pool fills up quickly so it’s worth getting there before the sun comes round. The very pretty beach is an easy 10 minute walk and the hotel provides beach towels and water at no charge. Chairs and umbrellas are easily rented on the beach. As there is a small kitchen we stocked up on a few snack and drink items. Do yourselves a favor, stay out of the over-priced ABC’s and head to the Waikiki Market the inventory and prices are way better. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend the Ritz Carlton and look forward to staying at the next one, maybe Maui?

I wrote this review on another platform a while ago but it was suggested by a friend that this is the best place to leave the review, so here we are! I came here with my daughter and her dad for about 3 weeks in June. The location was great and so close to the beach, the rooms were spacious and clean, and the breakfast was delicious albeit pricey. It was a wonderful stay but mainly because Doubletree has something really great going on with its staff at this location. We were always spoken to with genuine interest and kindness by everyone here, something we aren't all that used to here in California. There was the ”Cookie Lady” at the front desk (by the way, are the cookies made with magic dust or something??) who made my 5-year-old daughter feel like she had made a true friend. There were our two favorite cleaning ladies (Nancy is one of them, the only name I got), who took great care of us and our rooms and were just such lovely people. But I think the most memorable were the ”Car Guys” downstairs who were always ready with suggestions, guidance, and the kind of genuine interest in our day or plans for the day that I spoke about earlier. They are the heart of your hotel and do such a great job of making this place worth revisiting. They stay professional, calm, funny, and helpful no matter how many people are pushing to get their cars out first (which I saw happen a lot). My daughter drew pictures as thank-yous to all of these great people but we were sad not to be able to say goodbye to everyone I mentioned the morning we left! Thank you for making this trip the best one we've had to Oahu thus far.

Look would definitely stay again, I tend to travel along and I did splash out a bit more price wise then I usual do for solo travel with the Hyatt, but it was well worth it. Location is great for Waikiki Beach and also most tours to Pearl Harbour and the hop on, hop off bus have stops directly opposite the hotel. Roof top bar was quite nice, although the pool does look smaller in real life compared to pictures. Great TV in the room I had.

So....got a great rate on Travelzoo voucher for 4 nights. This hotel has been remodeled and is still in process of completing some work in common areas. Starbucks opened when I was there, and Monkeypod will open in the future. Staff was fabulous! No complaints there. I was able to check in early and got a partial ocean view on floor 11. Room was spotless. My only complaint, and it's a big one for me, is the soundproofing. I should say lack of it! Doors are HEAVY and each open and shut on the floor nearby is a shock to the sleeper. Also, the wind whistled and the band and traffic comes right in through slider to balcony. The band stops at 9, so that was no problem, and very nice. But....I hated the door slams and other interior noises. If you are a light sleeper, I don't think you will enjoy yourself. I wore ear plugs. Location is superb! It really can't be beat. Pool is OK. The jacuzzi was kind of icky. One being closed the entire time, the other kind of grey and the one attached to the pool generally full of kids. No jacuzzi for me. Towels and loungers were readily available. No problems there. We did have a problem at restaurant/ bar with what we think was bad turkey or mayo on a club. My grandson and I got sick within a couple hours. Unfortunately for the maintenance staff there was some cleaning up to do in the bathroom. The staff responded immediately and were so nice about it. I cannot thank them enough. However, when I reported this to the restaurant manager in the morning I was not totally happy with his response. All in all, I would stay there again for what I paid for it.

Melissa, Jessie and Mr Kalani were all amazing service providers! I had one of the best and most comfortable stays here thanks to them. They are always ready to accommodate and help! They usually start shift around the afternoon to evening time however! The facilities were all great too! Being able to have a microwave and an ice box as well as ask for extra amenities like toothbrushes and body lotion was never too tough a task. Also it is close to 2 big malls -, namely waikiki and international marketplace. It was within walking distance to other big brand names and one can easily join in the fun on the streets. The only downfall was the other customers and how thin the walls were - which meant noises and talking even in the middle of the night. But other than that, it was a great stay. Great for solo travellers too :)
