"The hotel location is great for 1 night stay if you have early flight, the room itself is smaller but can accommodate 3 person the only problem is it has a share bathroom and no hot water for a shower not ideal if you have very early flight and need shower unless you can handle a cold shower and in common bath, In my case I have to upgrade to private room that cost me additional 650 pesos in addition to my payment of 941 pesos but it has a hot shower and private bathroom, although I can get at the sane amount in a better and more comfortable hotel in the area. The staff us very helpful and accommodating they provide a microwave and kittle to make a hot water but you have to buy your own water. All in all it was ok."

"Location wise since it’s near to the airport it only takes 20-30mins depending upon the traffic. But it's difficult to ride a taxi since the area has a road policy.
Room is good. Affordable. Don't expect much what you pay is what you get. Air conditioned room. No Television. Internet is available.No soap and shampoos. They will give you one roll of tissue. So please bring if you want to shower or buy. Not advisable for those who have health conditions since the room and the information area was in the third floor. Not as quiet as you expected because the hotel was around the main road you can hear all the vehicles passing. Not comfortable for walking outside be extra cautious with your belongings and jewelries. Most of the nearby buildings are abandoned. Rotten animals near the hotel area.
If you want a place near the airport it's good. Just don't be picky a peace of advice. ☺️"

"Bohol Island came across a recommendation from a latent friend, the boss' mother went to China, and the boss could speak Chinese. The room was very clean. I left after transitioning to one night. There are supermarkets around and barbecues. I'm lucky, one room per person, I don't know what it feels like to be full."

GGuest UserIt was good. It was a little bit far from Panagasama beach - around 20 min on foot, but it was quiet and calm here, no music, no karaoke. So we could sleep well there. We could rent scooter right in hotel for 350 peso per 24 hours, and came back it got deposit without any problem. At reception you can get free instant tea and coffee, refill your bottle with cold water. There was good wifi there, so I didn't buy local SIM card and I could work online in room. If I come back to Maolboal I defenetly will stay in this hotel.

BBells on the roadPROS: Near Whale Sharks (15 mins) tricycle ride. Staff helpful to book trip and transfers. Room clean but tired on closer inspection. Close to shops and restaurants.
CONS: Dogs barking all night. Bed very hard. Breakfast poor and sachet coffee.

ZZe-BWay Shack Hostel is in a fantastic location for visiting the whale sharks. If you speak to Ken at the hostel, he can help arrange the whale shark excursion, it cost me 500 pesos and was super easy to organize.
That said, I’d recommend only a one-night stay here. We were disturbed both nights by heavy goods vehicles passing by the hostel late at night, which made it hard to get a good night's sleep. Additionally, aside from the whale shark activity, there’s not much else around the hostel to keep yourself entertained.
A scooter is essential to travel to the local town for food or supplies. The hostel staff can help arrange a rental if you need one.
On the plus side, the room was clean and equipped with air conditioning, which made it comfortable for a short stay.
Overall, Way Shack Hostel is a practical and budget-friendly option for a quick stopover if you’re visiting the whale sharks, but it’s not ideal for a longer stay.

GGuest UserIt's a good hotel in a good location. Rooftop pool. It's really nice, it's not crowded, you can come and swim as much as you want, and the breakfast buffet is very tasty and there is a lot of food.

AAina M. L. LoronaI had a hot, uncomfortable disappointed, and we were in utter shocked that the room I booked was not in their system. As I was rebooking, it was not the same as the first booking then blacked out occured. During the blacked out the my booking end up with only a bed in dorm style quarters, public bathroom and no privacy.
My first booking was a package trip from Cebu to Manila which still in a wrong date. The actual date for the flight was to be on August 19 @ 9:50 but the three agent that I spoke to on the 18th got my hotel canceled and only provided me a rebooked solution. Sure, I can rebooked, thank so much for making my simple trip into **************** with my family, along withy impatient high functioning autism, 24 years old son who doesn't like his iPad to be low battery and no wifi.
To remind you that the black out still happening, so during my aunty and son lunch the black still going. I have no idea what kind of menu and price for food and drinks. As I saw the server put the first plate of food, I was shocked to see the mountain square shape nacho cheese beyond understanding. My aunty is only 90 to 100 pounds. She doesn't speak English and doesn't understand what she ordered, so she asked question about salad and a slice of pizza. But that not what the server brought, he came out again carrying nacho cheese, same size as the first nacho cheese/beef, except the second is chicken then a whole large Canadian bacon pizza. I couldn't believe the amount of food that was ordered then a Red Bull for my autistic son? My aunty was repeatedly saying that she only want salad and a slice pizza then water. What she really wanted the cook and server wanted to do is take away all the food back including the Red Bull. Oh, one more set of food, two big pieces of Burrito. The hotel is still in black out and stuffy hot and dark.
The staff are not good listener. My son started eating and drinking the Red Bull, when I saw him, I told the staff that Red Bull straight might kill him of a heart attack. I also mentioned that my son doesn't know self control when it comes to food which is called glutenny . He already pass his regular weight. I heard my aunty said that my son ordered all the food; she had no idea what he was ordering.
Meanwhile the black out still continuing till around 5:30 pm, every building around the area has their electricity back on but not the Papabo. Our booking still in process. The manager charged me for the lunch even though the mistake was the their service, taking order from an autistic person instead of asking his parents. The manager decided to booked us in the one room that has two bunk bed, private bathroom and has windows cause still black out. The room is stuffy and hot, it's on the fourth floor, no elevator and dark to go up the stairs. We decided to lock up our things in the room cause still black out.
My aunty over heard that the electricity bill was not paid. So as soon as I got down. The manager charged me 1500 pesos cash plus 1200 pesos for lunch that I only got to eat two slices of pizza and a couple of bite of nacho beef. I didn't get to have the burritos. The Papabo manager quickly went to pay for their electricity bill after she spoke to the owner.
My aunty and me went to the beach. I for sure locked the bedroom and still no electriçity. My son went to 7/11 to charge the iPad. We got back at the hotel at 8:30 or so and the electricity was on and my son also in the in the hotel. Do recognized that the hotel keys was an actual key, and I only have the key with. In my surprised our bedroom door was wide open, our things are scattered on the chair and table. Now, just today at this time, I'm still looking for my necklace that has my Mom piece of earing, my oldest son alligator tooth pendant and my initial pendant A.
I'll call the hotel when I finished looking at our things here.Yap, my necklace is missing.

AAtty. MonaThe room smells fresh and clean as well as the hallway plus good internet. The longganisang hamonado is so yummy except the scramble egg. I prefer sunny side up. The room rates is good. Will return again and highly recommended to friends. I already booked my friends here.

OOliver RequilmanThe location is very convenient since it is along Jones Ave or now Osmena Avenue. However, while it is clean inside, there's a lot of Dog Poops outside the Pension. And you will have to dart these large flies as you walk from the entrance to the main road. There's a lot of hanging clotheslines across the pension house.
While they have free breakfast, it is so poorly served. Dont expect quality. And you cannot even advance your breakfast, you have to follow their schedule.
On a serious note, the free breakfast is not worth considering if you plan to stay in this place. The only advantage they have is that this is near the main road.

I stayed here for 7 nights and had a very satisfying experience. The place is quiet and peaceful, which makes it perfect for rest and relaxation. You also have a good sense of privacy during your stay.
The hotel is budget-friendly but still very clean and comfortable. The food was very good and staff are all accommodating and friendly, especially Sir Bobby in the kitchen, he’s very kind and always helpful. The housekeeping team also did a great job keeping my room neat and tidy every day.
Overall, I’m very happy with my stay and would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone looking for an affordable, clean, and peaceful place to stay.
