I stayed at Monomer Hostel during my trip to Bangkok and overall it was a very pleasant experience. I chose this hostel mainly because of its location, and it definitely did not disappoint. One of the best things about Monomer Hostel is how convenient the location is. It is very close to the BTS station, which makes getting around Bangkok extremely easy. Whether you want to visit shopping malls, markets, or tourist attractions, transportation is very accessible. For example, going to Siam is very quick and convenient, only a few stops away, so it’s perfect if you plan to spend time shopping or exploring that area. Another thing I really liked is the surroundings of the hostel. Right next door there is a 7-Eleven, which is incredibly convenient. You can easily buy water, snacks, drinks, or any daily necessities at any time of the day since it is open 24 hours. After a long day of walking around Bangkok, it’s great to have such easy access to convenience stores nearby. There are also massage shops just next to the hostel. This was actually a big plus for me. Bangkok is a city where you will probably walk a lot, so being able to get a relaxing Thai massage just a few steps away from the hostel is very nice. It’s a great way to relax after a long day of sightseeing. The hostel itself is clean and comfortable. The environment is suitable for backpackers or travelers who want an affordable place to stay in a central location. The common areas are nice for relaxing, and overall the atmosphere is quite pleasant. What I appreciate most about this hostel is the balance between price and convenience. For travelers who want a budget-friendly stay while still being close to transportation and popular areas like Siam, Monomer Hostel is a very good option. Overall, I had a good stay and would recommend this hostel to other travelers who are visiting Bangkok, especially if you want a place that is easy to access, surrounded by useful facilities like convenience stores and massage shops, and close to major shopping areas.

Beat Warii is the hostel to beat for great value and location and its range of facilities. I would recommend staying here for its amazing location alongside the river and close to all the major sites and shopping areas. It is situated in a fish market and there are smells outside but they add character and do not affect when you are inside. This Hostel has lots of space in all aspects and never fells full - you can have chill or leisure or co-working spaces if you want and enjoy the roof top area or the other terraces for relaxing times and great views. The beds are excellent, modern and unique and very private and the bathrooms and toilets are clean and hygienic, and the cleaning ladies do good work. The general staff are also helpful and friendly. This hostel also has a basketball court, 2 sets of lockers, security key system which has multiple uses, laundry and ironing services and facilities, shared kitchen and cafe environment, tables and desks, couches, bean bags, books, complimentary water and coffee provided - all these to provide a pleasant stay at a very good rate. You can easily get everywhere from here. Don't think too much, just come stay here.

I like this place , definitely gonna be back on my next trip . Very convenient and clean . I met a loooot of good people here. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Location is really nice far from the noise and close to MRT Sutthisan. Definitely can recommend

🇷🇺 Отзыв на русском (Below is a review in English): Останавливались в этом отеле на одну ночь, выбирали его из-за очень удобного расположения — всего 4 минуты пешком до посольства России. Район в целом отличный, рядом есть несколько торговых центров, всё под рукой. Заселение прошло не совсем стандартно: на ресепшене никого не было, нужно было позвонить в звонок. Через некоторое время пришёл сотрудник, оформил нас, выдал ключи и объяснил, куда идти. Номер находился на 4 этаже. В целом он довольно комфортный и функциональный, но уже не новый — местами заметны потёртости и сколы. Плюсы: • Отличное расположение (особенно если нужно в посольство) • В номере есть всё необходимое: холодильник (очень мощный, отлично морозит), кофемашина (капсулы: латте и американо), микроволновка, посуда и приборы • Большой современный телевизор с интернетом (YouTube, Netflix) — это прям редкость и большой плюс • Хороший стабильный интернет • Очень мощный напор воды — один из лучших, что я встречала • Есть и ванна, и отдельный душ • Удобный матрас • Розетки возле кровати • Кондиционер работает тихо и не дует прямо на кровать • Интересное решение: можно лежать в ванной и смотреть телевизор через окно между комнатами Минусы: • В номере было довольно много муравьёв (для Таиланда это не редкость, но всё же) • Постельное бельё синтетическое и немного в катышках — непривычно и не так комфортно, как хлопок • Ванная комната уже немного “уставшая”, несмотря на новую ванну • Окно в ванной нельзя закрыть полностью — оно с сеткой и оттуда постоянно поступает воздух • Шум от дороги (нам не мешал, но стоит учитывать) • Не самый удобный процесс заселения и выселения (каждый раз нужно вызывать персонал) В целом, хороший вариант на короткий срок, особенно если важна локация. Есть ощущение, что отель немного “поживший”, но при этом он остаётся комфортным и хорошо оснащённым. ⸻ 🇬🇧 Review in English: We stayed at this hotel for one night, mainly because of its very convenient location — only a 4-minute walk to the Russian Embassy. The area is great overall, with several shopping malls nearby. Check-in was a bit unusual: there was no one at the reception, so we had to ring a bell and wait. After a while, a staff member came, registered us, gave us the keys, and explained where to go. Our room was on the 4th floor. It was generally comfortable and well-equipped, although not brand new — there are some visible signs of wear and tear. Pros: • Excellent location (especially for visiting the embassy) • The room is well-equipped: a very powerful fridge, coffee machine (latte and americano capsules), microwave, dishes and utensils • Large smart TV with internet (YouTube, Netflix) — a big plus and not very common • Good and stable Wi-Fi • Extremely strong water pressure — one of the best I’ve experienced • Both a bathtub and a separate shower • Comfortable mattress • Power outlets near the bed • Air conditioner works quietly and doesn’t blow directly onto the bed • Nice detail: you can watch TV from the bathtub through the window between the rooms Cons: • Quite a lot of ants in the room (not unusual for Thailand, but still) • Synthetic bed linen with some pilling — less comfortable than cotton • Bathroom feels a bit worn, despite the bathtub being new • The bathroom window cannot be fully closed — it has a mesh and lets air in constantly • Noise from the road (didn’t bother us much, but worth noting) • Slightly inconvenient check-in and check-out process (you need to call staff each time) Overall, it’s a good option for a short stay, especially if location is important. The hotel feels a bit worn in places, but still comfortable and well-equipped.

Good value for the price. The room was simple but clean and everything worked as expected. WiFi was fast and reliable throughout the stay, which made a big difference. There’s a restaurant on the ground floor that’s convenient and serves decent food, especially after a long day out. Location near Khao San Road is great if you want to be close to everything. a solid option for the budget with no major issues.

Overall Experience: This hotel is a decent option, especially if you want to escape the city's hustle and bustle. The rooftop room I booked was incredibly spacious and cozy, perfect for a relaxing night even when it rained. The location is a bit tricky, with no parking and a narrow alleyway leading to the entrance, but it's worth it for the peace and quiet. The highlight was definitely the rooftop room. It felt so open and comfortable. However, the open-air bathroom might not be for everyone, especially if you're shy. For me, it was completely fine. Just be aware there’s no elevator, and if you’re on the 6th floor like I was, be ready for a bit of a climb! Bringing snacks and drinks up with you is a good idea to avoid going up and down too often. The view from the top floor room was absolutely amazing. It was a great reward after the climb. haha! P.s..I’d recommend this hotel to anyone who wants a unique and quiet experience and doesn't mind a bit of a workout to get to their room. The view and the rooftop room are fantastic. :)

Good service... Experience was very comfortable.. very clean room ... Toilet are clean... Location perfect... Terminal 21 at just walking distance... very near to bts and mrt station.. Totally Recommended ..in breakfast have coffee and banana..

The room was clean, and the reception staff were kind. I liked this hostel, so I extended my stay for another two nights. However, on the day before I checked out, a housekeeper threw away my clothes that I had hung on my bed frame to dry. She said she assumed I had already checked out because there was no bag around. (However, I had kept my luggage in the locker throughout my entire four-night stay.) The hostel should verify whether a guest has actually checked out before removing their belongings. Even if something had been left behind after check-out, they should have been kept in a lost-and-found box for at least a few days instead of being thrown away soon.

I recently stayed at Ploy Hostel, and overall, it was a pleasant experience. The hostel also provided air conditioning and Wi-Fi, both of which worked well. The bathrooms were shared but well-maintained, with hot water available at all times, which was very convenient. One of the highlights of Ploy Hostel is its communal areas. The lounge and kitchen spaces are spacious, allowing guests to relax, cook meals, and socialize. I met other travelers there, which made my stay more enjoyable. The overall atmosphere of the hostel is friendly and welcoming, perfect for solo travelers or small groups. While the hostel is budget-friendly, it doesn’t compromise on comfort or cleanliness. The only minor downside was occasional noise from neighboring rooms, but this is understandable in a hostel setting. In conclusion, I would highly recommend Ploy Hostel to anyone looking for affordable, clean, and centrally located accommodation. It offers a warm and social environment, making it ideal for travelers who want both convenience and a chance to meet new people. I would definitely stay here again on my next trip.
