Our April Hua Hin getaway took an unexpected turn when our original hotel was overbooked. Luckily, we found ourselves at The Lapa Hotel, conveniently located near the Hua Hin Bluport shopping mall. The check-in process went smoothly, but our initial impression took a hit upon discovering an unlocked internal door within our room. Assuming it led to a storage area, we opened it to find a doorway directly into another occupied room – a situation that significantly compromised our privacy. Needless to say, the encounter with the other guest was a surprise for both of us, and the potential for noise is transmission was a concern. Despite this unsettling welcome, the room itself had its merits. It was spacious, clean, and the staff offered decent service. The daily breakfast was pleasant, and the pool provided a refreshing escape from the April heat, although the water was not cool enough.

They wake you from 7am blasting disco level music from reception. Then the cleaner appears and starts banging. They really want you to wake up and buy their breakfast. I may have to wake up, due to the noise the hotel creates, but then I’m unlikely to buy anything.

I wish I could something good to say but I can’t. We staying for two nights.
The bad:
- Ants all over the room
- Stains on out sheets
- Outdated and old room
- No electric outlets for charging phones next to bed. No desk beds.
- Bad reception staff, never smile, poor English, not always available at the desk, unwilling to help
- Need pay 30 Bath for water

Warning! Do not get anything dirty or stain you gotta get expensive chrage from those. I spilled wine on bed sheet they were chraged me almost the room price.The room isn't clean as I expected and very smelly. The swimming pool especially Jacuzzis area are not working. The only good thing was beside blueport supermarket.

Booked by Trip.com a horrible platform with the low customer service mind , to contact the hotel in 5G era seems as 2000 years ago , I was charged by a miscommunications of system platform and hotel , finally hotel still keep my money as a policy if the policy with 100 % under the understanding without any error in the system that is fine, but the cause of it from system error and communication lost which finally throw everything to customer and take profits without any lost , platform and hotel are in the win win situation but customer walked in the storm of their information requesting and feedback with sorry your money are mine.

A good location for being near the Bluport shopping mall. Upon arrival, we were given our room, which at first looked nice. Once we had settled in, we smelt the room was mouldy, and we were right next door to the staff areas. We asked for another room, and without hesitation , we were moved straight away.
The swimming pool is fabulous and so easy to access.
The breakfast Is average.
The only downside is you cannot get a drink and sit at the pool with a refreshing cocktail and there was no food available to buy.
They are progress building a new restaurant which they said will be ready in about 4 months.
