The property has very cool, clean, and nice decor. The staff was excellent anytime we needed anything, especially Van Duc, who helped us secure a jeep tour to Da Nang. He was very helpful during this process and continued to check to ensure we had a good experience. The hotel is very economical. I recommend staying at this property.

Nice and tidy. Great location. My friend and I has a 3-night stay in this hotel. It was such an amazing memory. Though our stay was brief, we really enjoyed ourselves - the room was spacious and clean. All facilities were excellent and the staff always smile.

I loved this place. It’s the perfect paradise. I got a hillside pool villa and got lucky with one that is very hidden and with some of the best views in the resort. I travel a lot for work and leisure and am lucky to stay in some beautiful places but I really really cherished my experience here - never had I felt so free and calm. Taking walks around the resort was also a joy. I was so happy there I never left the hotel, except when the very kind and amazing general manager, Christy, kindly took me out to dinner at a place right outside the hotel. She is a machine and never switches off, catering to every whim via WhatsApp. I’m so grateful to her and so happy whenever I think about my time there. Can’t wait to go back.

A number of reviews have commented on the location of this resort. It is located beside the river, about 5km from Hue. At the time of our visit (late April 2024) there was road work on the last couple of km’s of the road before the resort. We were told this should be finished within the next few months. However we had drivers pick us up and drop us off without incident. We also saw other guests using taxis, and we had no problems getting Grab cars to collect us and take us back (for a total cost of less than US$10 for the 2 trips). The shuttle referred to on the hotel website is not currently operating, but we did not see access as an issue. As an upside of the location it was very peaceful at night (our previous stop had been at Hoi An where the river resort we stayed at in the centre had been quite noisy at night.) Some comments have also been made on the gardens being over grown and the resort being run down. We did not see it this way. The gardens are not formal – they include fruit trees which are being farmed for their fruit – but they were being actively maintained. The pool is very nice. (See photos) The room was comfortable and clean and tidy with excellent air conditioning. The bed was very hard and some more storage space in the room would be good. The staff were all friendly and very eager to help with things like organising transport and suggesting places for meals. The resort was not very busy at the time of our stay. As a result, while they had the breakfast buffet operating on our first morning (a weekend), on week days the routine was to collect a form from reception to select your breakfast and time, and drop it back to reception the night before – it was then served in the restaurant at the time chosen. This seemed to work well. We ate in the restaurant the first night, and the food was good, though we were the only people in the room. Most guests seem to opt to get transport into Hue-proper for dinner, where there are lots of great options for a meal. All in all a very pleasant, comfortable and quiet stay.

Exquisite hotel / villa complex in enclosed grounds with reasonable access to Hue sights. Well appointed room with balcony and good quality furniture. Two separate swimming pools. Two excellent restaurants with good ambience serving Vietnamese and French food. Attentive and welcoming staff. Exceptional value accommodation

We enjoyed our one night here. What an amazing japanese ambience in Hue. Garden is huge and beautiful. My family enjoyed the very relaxing onsen and delicious breakfast. Thank you very much for the very accommodating staff. Definitely we will come back.

We highly recomend MaiLy homestay,very good location,very clean with a very good price and quality service. The rooms are very nice, big, clean, quiet with very confortables beds. Aircon works perfectly.The sheets were super clean and white with a very nice scent. We had a very nice sleep! Delicious breakfast and fruit is served with the beautiful smile of Leo, Xun Tran's daughter. She is sooo nice and kind. We loved our banh my with op lá! She is always willing to help with a smile as Xun Tran, the father. He is a very kind and generous person, he helped us in all we needed and more. He speaks English very well and smiles a lot.He gave us good advices about places to go in Hue. They took very good care of us, we shared nice moments with them and with Leo's children, they are sooo cute and friendly. Btw, they have very cheap Huda beer!! They booked the sleeping bus to Hoi An for us and was very confortable, big and new one. Thanks you so much dear family for everything, it is so nice meeting nice people with a beautiful heart and a beautiful and true smile like you. Ah!
