You won’t find a better Hotel in Huế, guaranteed! The staff are incredibly helpful, they simply can’t do enough for you, and most speak good English which is very convenient. The rooms are spacious, and immaculately clean. The beds are comfortable, sheets crisp, with good pillows. The bathrooms come well equipped, with great showers, and piping hot water. We opted to have the breakfast and it offered a wide choice, we have a vegetarian in our group, and the was always a good choice for all of us. The Hotels well located, right next to the walking street areas, so ideal for exploring Huế. I can’t speak highly enough of the Staff, or the Hotel, it’s now our go to stop in Huế.

This is my second time at this hotel - October 2022 and November 2023 - and both times Hue flooded but this time with a substantial amount of water and mud coming into the hotels first floor. The family who ran the hotel worked tirelessly throughout the night and early hours of the morning to make sure the lobby and its contents would be clear and ready for the arrival of guests the next day. They were exhausted but still managed to be on the sidewalk greeting our bus with a smile and a wave as it arrived. The hotel is pretty basic and the bar and restaurant have been closed since covid. But it’s clean, well located, has comfy beds and is extraordinarily inexpensive. I’d come here again and again because I love the family that runs it.

Our original hotel turned out to no longer be in business so we stayed here last minute. The room we were given had mould on the ceiling and felt very damp, as air con did not work (probably hadn’t for a while considering how damp the room felt). When the man at reception fixed it for us (it just needed the remote reconfigured to the AC unit), it sounded like a beat up old car choking on its own fumes. I decided to clean the filters which were PACKED with dust. Clearly had not been serviced in a very long time. This made all the difference and the AC worked perfectly afterwards. The shower pressure is great, but make sure the shower head is facing the wall when turning it on otherwise the water will go everywhere. The holder is very flimsy. Did not replace our soap the whole time so just used one tiny bar for 3 days. I tried using the hair dryer but it started smoking when I turned it on, a bit of a worry and a fire hazard. The pool is nice, although when going at night there were never any lights on, and most of them don’t work when turned on at the switch (if you can even find the switch). Overall, a very average stay for the price, definitely needs some maintenance.

The manager is very nice, change room for me to nicer room when complain about toilet smell. I did not realise the air cond not working properly after I came back in evening and basically the controller can not turn on off or control the air conditioner at all, in top the air cond only blows air at 1 speed abdc1 temperature not cool enough, end up sleeping not much at all while night because of very hot in the room with air cond not working properly. Not trying to tell people how to manage hotel business, but as manager they should check the conditions of rooms, which are good or bad, cabinets doors, corridor carpet need to be replaced etc, if they want to attract more customers, and regularly inspect the rooms, don't wait till customers complain then try to fix problems. apart from all these hotel manager is an absolute nice person. Feel not easy to leave this hotel because she is so nice, but I need to have cool room to sleep well. Motorbike rental is very nice from this hotel, she offer half day rate because I arrived at 2 pm. You can do better, try harder, proactively doing things. Room has 2 nice windows and a nice balcony garden. Location of hotel is right in the centre of night eating place and walking streets.

DO NOT book this hotel unless you have no other option. I do not know how they won the TripAdvisor award back in 2015, unless their service has significantly declined since then. For background, I stayed at this hotel for 6 nights with 9 other people on a medical trip in Hue (2 were born in Vietnam and speak fluent Vietnamese). We booked a total of 5 rooms on the first floor. To start off, one of the rooms had a large, suspiciously brown stain on the inside of the bedsheets. When informed, the staff tried (unsuccessfully) to WIPE IT OFF and only changed the sheets after some insistence. There was also trash in the closet. The AC in another of the rooms did not work which did not pair well with Hue's hot weather (high 90s). When informed, the staff only laughed. In yet another room, ice and debris fell out of the AC. The staff also broke one of our laptops while cleaning our room. It was placed in a backpack in the closet before leaving and was found on the floor when we returned. The screen of the Mac was glitchy and slightly cracked. We assume the backpack was dropped during cleaning. They also took one of our stuffed animals and threw it in the dirty laundry for no reason (it was on the bed and put away). When informed, the staff laughed. It was only after we asked multiple times that they searched and returned it to us. Their laundry service resulted in several ruined articles of clothing (stains, stuck Tide pod, etc.) They also sorted our clothing on the floor (incorrectly, as several of our clothes were mixed up between rooms). Finally, there were bugs in our rooms of different varieties (lizards, roaches, mosquitos, centipedes, etc.) The breakfast food is okay for Western tastes but is not good at all if you are accustomed to authentic Vietnamese food. However, the cook is very sweet, and we appreciate her efforts in making food for us so early in the morning. All in all, we did not enjoy our stay here and will not be returning. We urge you to consider our experience before booking. It is not the worst hotel you can find in Hue, but there are definitely much better options for a similar price tag.

Fantastic stay. Such friendly staff, convenient location, clean room and great recommendations for the city tour. We also booked the bus ride with 4 stops to Hội An and the boat ride to the temple. Definitely worth looking into it. Breakfast was also delicious. Would come back again
