Hotel berhampiran Ca n'Andreu des Trull, Ibiza

El personal de todo el resort es muy servicial, educado y agradable. Especial mención merece el desayuno buffet libre. Es espectacular, con bastante variedad y con mucha calidad. No es un hotel al uso, ya que son como pequeños apartamentos de los cuales algunos de los más antiguos están situados entre casas particulares. Por último, la situación del hotel es muy tranquila y bonita.

1 fantastic week in a hotel with all the ideal conditions for a well spent holiday. Good location, nice pool and the food was excellent. Less pleasant was just the deafening noise early in the morning from the pool animation. Terribly NEGATIVE was the inconvenient, abusive, overbearing and rude attitude of the SUB-DIRECTOR of the hotel for making us pay €20 for “late check-out” (11:35 am) when our reservation on Trip.com says “ check-out until 12:00”. After a long discussion complaining about the attitude and not the amount, we were forced to call the police and the INCOMPETENT SUB-DIRECTOR was forced to return the money.

This was my fifth stay in eight years at the usually brilliant Simbad. The staff are all lovely, particularly restaurant staff and cleaners. The breakfast buffet is extensive, the rooms are comfortable, the hotel is modern and clean and the view is incredible. We have kept coming back - including a visit with 15 friends last year for a special birthday - because everything has always been great. Until now. It’s no exaggeration to say our holiday was ruined this year and we will think twice about returning again. The only issue is the bizarre pool policy that seems to allow countless non-residents to use the facility whenever they wish, despite a sign saying the pool area is exclusively for the use of guests only. What should be an oasis of calm and restfulness looking out over the beautiful Talamanca bay is now ruined by scores of people who aren’t staying at the hotel using the pool. In a response to another review complaining about this, the hotel director replied seeming to imply there’s nothing they can do about it as the pool is on public land. Maybe something there is lost in translation - I don’t see why someone couldn’t operate an entrance gate to control numbers and noise. The problem was bad during the day while we were there, but particularly awful during the afternoon/evening from about 4-8pm. The pool used to close at 6pm, which seemed odd but maybe this helped, as it’s now open well past 8pm. I appreciate this complaint may sound petty or entitled, but I simply think that the pool should be for the use of residents only, in line with any other hotel I’ve stayed in all over the world. Unfortunately the current situation sees people turning up in droves, failing to use the showers and jumping straight in the pool. I twice saw babies with their nappies being taken off on sun loungers then put into swimming attire without swim nappies, then going straight into the pool. The noise level from children screaming, shouting and repeatedly jumping into the pool is totally unacceptable and not only punctuates the calm around the pool area but also across the front of the whole hotel, including the lovely bar and balconies. The pool area capacity is stated as 40 - yesterday evening I counted 32 non residents, the day before there was 22 children in the pool. You can see from the website it’s a very small pool area. At one point this meant there wasn’t enough loungers for residents and being around the pool was akin to being at a kids club throughout the evening. This isn’t the usual and understandable sound of a few children playing in a swimming pool on holiday, it’s like a whole classroom of children all set loose at the same time There was even a visible divide with residents at one end of the area, as far away from the noise as possible, and everyone else at the other end. Great location. Lovely and clean. Breakfast was plentiful and tasty. The bathroom situation took a bit of getting used to...toilet is seperate from the shower. Staff were accommodating when they gave us a double room instead of a twin and they changed it immediately. Our only disappointment was the Rooftop pool area and bar, was advertised in the lifts as open but it wasn't after the first day we got there. There was no Indication, when we booked that this area was closing. Would definitely recommend this hotel though.

Definitely not a 4 star hotel, I would say more 3 star. Hotel is in a good location close to Ibiza Town and the Airport and is laid out well. However - our room was not cleaned properly each day. The food served was not hot, it was lukewarm. It was like eating in a canteen not a luxury dining experience the food being pretty standard. A mouse ran across the dining room floor at breakfast on our last morning and staff were trying to capture it behind the drinks machine. A lot of drinks cost extra to the all inclusive package. Whilst this is clearly labelled it didn't make it great value for money.

Très bien (personnel souriant, bonne qualité de la nourriture)excepté le restaurant portofino. Lors de notre 3 ème passage dans ce restaurant à la carte ,nous avons commandés en supplément des homards. Réservation à 9:15. Les homards sont arrivés à table 1 heure plus tard à 10:15 (service beaucoup trop long). A la fin des homards le serveur a demandé de régler l'addition en affirmant que les déserts suivraient. 5 minutes plus tard je demande à la cheffe de salle les desserts et elle me répond désolée : ” la cuisine a fermée à 10h”. Je lui fais remarquer que si la cuisine a fermé à 10h pourquoi les homards sont arrivés à 10:15 et surtout pourquoi personne ne nous averti de cette fermeture. Nous avons donc payé pour un repas SANS DESERST.

El servicio excelente, igual que las instalaciones. Además te dan la posibilidad, el dia que te vas, de pasar todo el dia en el hotel y ducharte antes de irte (te facilitan toallas, champú...). La ubicación es buena, no es el centro de ibiza pero está muy cerca de cala gracioneta y cala saladeta, de supermercados y de todo tipo de servicios.

This hotel is in the perfect location, if you’re looking for a beach experience, it has its own private entrance to the beach, the rooms were spacious and cleaned everyday thoroughly. Definitely encourage one to add the breakfast and dinner option to their bookings, as they have a large variety of dishes to pick from, buffet style, and they change the menu intermittently. Would definitely stay again

By far the best hotel we have stayed at in Ibiza. We were half board, both breakfast and evening meal selection were fantastic. Pool area’s were amazing and in the afternoon a DJ were accompanied by a musician playing chilled music. All staff were exceptional from reception to cleaners. The roof top sunset is a must do. All in all great value for money, we were really tempted to stay another week. Definitely be back next year.
