The service: I was very much looking forward to staying at The Standard Ibiza due to its modern design and beautiful rooftop. This experience was soured by the treatment myself (American) and my friends (British) received from the staff at both restaurants. They did not hide the fact that they did not like English-speaking guests. We dined at the rooftop restaurant and Jara (floor level) multiple times and each time had a similar experience. The waiters would completely ignore us. We had to get up and track someone down to get a menu even after the bartender looked me straight in the eye and went about her business. We had to ask for drinks multiple times before we got them. Ask for our check several times. When we finally got up to ask the bartender for something she would respond with ”ask my colleague”. Tonight we dined at Jara and not once, not a single time did the waiter come to our table to take an order or ask if we needed anything. We had to get up and find him each time to get service. Meanwhile, he was attending to a family at the table next to us all night (Spanish speaking). I've honestly never experienced such poor service at a hotel, despite the fact that myself and my friends were extremely courteous and patient. We spoke Spanish as much as we could with the wait staff. It was just very obvious that they do not appreciate the business of English/American patrons (visible eye rolls and sh*t talking with each other). I witnessed another American guest have an altercation with the bartender when she asked for more ice in an iced latte. They are very stuck in their ways and unwilling to accommodate reasonable requests despite the high price we pay to stay there. The room: very modern and nice, however, the bathroom sink leaves no room for personal effects, and the bed shares a wall with the hallway, so you hear and feel the doors slamming day and night. Overall: It's a beautiful hotel, but I would not return after the treatment that we received. Many of the wait staff seemed like they hated their jobs.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Mirador Dalt Vila in Ibiza, and I must say it was an incredible experience. From the moment I arrived until the time I checked out, everything about this hotel exceeded my expectations. First and foremost, the location of the hotel is simply breathtaking. Perched on a hill overlooking the beautiful town of Ibiza, the views from the Mirador Dalt Vila are absolutely stunning. Waking up to panoramic vistas of the Mediterranean Sea and the charming old town was a true delight. The hotel itself is a gem of luxury and elegance. The rooms are tastefully decorated, combining modern amenities with a touch of traditional Ibiza charm. My room was spacious, clean, and beautifully appointed, providing the perfect sanctuary after a day of exploring the island.

Where do I begin. Let’s start with the positives…the location is central and the staff was very nice. The hotel however was awful. Run down, dirty, and way past its renovation date. We paid $2400/night for the “penthouse” which was borderline criminal. Filthy grout lines, burn marks on rug, weird bathroom setup with no counter space. There were countless items in the room such as lights and buttons that were broken. The view was nice but the patio was run down and parts of the deck falling apart. Beware this is not a 5 star hotel nor is the service. Our stay started with missing a connecting flight and missing the first night. We gave the hotel plenty of notice but they charged us full price and offered no concessions whatsoever despite me asking the manager if she would work with us if we extended our stay. Despite paying for the first night the room was 100 degrees when we arrived and took over an hour to cool down. It was infested with at least 5 flies. Lastly the pool setup is tiny and the restaurant very mediocre. We canceled as much of our stay as possible and moved down the street to a suite at the Gran Hotel for half the price.

My wife and I decided on a quick visit to Ibiza. We checked the location but otherwise just took the hotel we were given. This hotel was perfect. Locatiion was great. Right near a lovely beach with lovely restaurants and people to watch. Easy walk into the port area of Ibiza town. Hotel was clean, friendly and well run. We would definitely return, Rooms on the 5th floor and above have best views. Thanks

Just a quick 2 day trip for this stay. Hotel is close to the airport with a bus just a couple of euros which drops you a short walk from the door. The hotel is newly refurbed to a simple but stylish decor. Room was immaculately clean. Reception / check in is very simple and the staff friendly and helpful. Breakfast area is very dated and extremely simple. Based on the cost per night and if I were being very picky I’d say it could be made more appealing. Although there are several food options available and all very nice to actually eat, it just looked a little unappealing at first glances and a bit ‘sad’ in comparison to the other places I’ve stayed for the same type of price. A few dirty cups, plastic glasses that type of thing.. Location is great although really steep and hilly with steep steps a plenty!! The hotel has no elevators either so wouldn’t be suitable for anyone with mobility issues. Close to the Old Town, bay and there’s a boat service to Formentera which I would highly recommend. The water is crystal clear! The bus was 4euros return from the port to the beach and the ferry was around 30euro (we booked online although you may get this cheaper at the port side). All in all a very nice stay. I’d come back for a very short trip but if I wanted a week or more I think I’d aim for something a little easier on legs!

SONO RIMASTA SENZA PAROLE. Albergo sicuramente datato nell' arredamento e nulla di lussuoso ma comodo , pulito , personale gentilissimo e cordiale. Respiri il profumo di pulito già percorrendo i corridoi . Camera spaziosa e con una vista mozzafiato direttamente sul mare nonostante la mia stanza fosse ” con balcone laterale” , era uguale al fronte mare. Stupendo . Bagno grande, spazioso e luminoso, molto pulito ... è la prima cosa che sono andata a vedere . L' hotel è situato in posizione strategica , vicino al porto , vicino al centro storico spettacolare e al castello... a piedi 15 minuti ...e direttamente sulla spiaggia e mare stupendo. . Lo consiglierò mille volte. La colazione è a parte e si fa nell' hotel di fianco.... una signora colazione con ogni ben di Dio ..... Di fronte all' hotel partono anche i traghetti escursione per Formentera (senza bagagli) con ottimi orari . Stra consigliato . se dovessi tornare a iBIZA non avrò dubbi su dove alloggiare . Sconsiglierei le stanze sul retro in quanto affaccia sulla strada trafficata e senza balcone. Quest' hotel è stato una grande scoperta . bravi.

Una vera scoperta a 5 minuti a piedi dal porto di Ibiza! Avevamo aspettative basse ma devo dire che sono rimasta piacevolmente sorpresa, camera pulita, bagno con doccia comodo e balcone super apprezzato! Lo staff che dire.. super gentili e carinissimi.. mettono a disposizione degli ospiti anche teli mare e ombrelloni e non è da tutti.. Consiglio vivamente questo Hotel!

Location is good and hotel is very clean. A slight criticism and one you should be careful of us the number of sea view rooms. We booked a sea view but were originally given a room that faced the wall of the building next door … we were given a better room although were told it is very difficult!!! The breakfast was good and Miska on reception was very helpful with info. Remember this us Ibiza town and we were woken by clubbers going out and coming in during the early hours.

The experience was nice generally, the hotel has the best views of the Ocean. The beach is also better compared to the sides of San Antonio. Their Blavos restaurant was also amazing, the food was tasty. I enjoyed my stay.
