I booked a room for 3 days and 2 nights in this hotel and they exceeded my expectations . Even though their cable TV is not working , you still get the value for what you pay for. The room size was just right. Complete toiletries. The swimming pool is clean and is free of use. Breakfast is satisfying and staff are helpful. Good location too. Just a 10 peso jeepney ride to Parola Port if you wanna go to Guimaras. Just 2 rides from Ceres Terminal coming from Carles , Iloilo. Short walk away from several fastfood chains and SM delgado. Highly recommended

Hotel: Circle Inn Hotel, Iloilo City Number of days stayed: 9 Days I am a solo traveller from Manila, I chose to visit Iloilo, Guimaras and Roxas for this trip. This is my first time to visit these mentioned provinces and I just want to explore each city, eat good food and experience how they live their life here. When I was checking for a hotel to stay in Iloilo, I came across with Circle Inn - City Proper. On this review, you will be seeing my experiences during my stay here on this hotel. For your reference, I’m a traveller both International and Domestic - Jet setter to be called (with my line of work and for leisure). I’ve been to different hotels around the world and also here in the Philippines, this gives me more insight and comparison. Hotel Room: -Decent to stay in -Clean and neat when I get into the room -Furnitures and bathroom fixtures are not well maintained -Hotel towels, newly laundry but looks dirty because of its over usage sign (dark in color) -I usually check the bed coverings once I get in the room and upon checking on it, its not properly laundry because you can see stains and other markings on it, it gives you the feeling of a “Motel Feel-like” vibes. Good thing I always bring with me extra bed and pillow covering for my safety and sanity. -Basic hotel amenities are not provided (They just provide a shampoo/ shower gel and soap bar - so MOTEL amenities). You have to bring everything you need if you’re planning to stay in this hotel. -WIFI. In my 9 days stay here in the hotel I was never happy with their connection, it really sucks and if you’re here for a business trip I will not recommend you to stay here because you will not be able to work well with this kind of WIFI connection. -Air conditioning inside the room is functioning well all through out my stay in the hotel. Hospitality / Service: -Once I get in the hotel I really appreciate how the Guard welcomed me and helped me out with all my luggages. With my stay here in this hotel, the guards will really greet you whenever you go in and out of the hotel premises. Kudos to the guards on this hotel. -The receptionists on this hotel are quite acceptable and casual, they’re accommodating and helpful but will definitely mention one receptionist who really stand out from the rest, her name is “Wedj” if I can still fully remember how she pronounces her name to me. She definitely manifest what a receptionist should be and what are expected them to be. She’s really accommodating, helpful, kind / polite and most importantly she know her guests well. She handle things and circumstances well and responds promptly to the guest request, I experienced this first hand. -The restaurant staff, doesn’t know how to welcome their guests in the restaurant. I tried having breakfast the day that I arrived in the hotel and never repeated it again during the course of my stay in the hotel. An amazing place to stay, with incredibly friendly and accommodating staff (especially the F&B staff members) The room was just perfect, with all the furnishings needed for a great time. It was very modern, clean and comfortable. Absolutely highly recommended. Breakfast is superb!!

I'm so pleased that I chose this hotel to stay at. I arrived with a stomach bug and was feeling quite ill. A few minutes after I called the front desk to request for late checkout, the desk supervisor, Erica, called me to graciously ask how I was doing and offered to send me some soft food and even some hydration salts. I declined the food but gladly accepted the Hydrite. I was so pleased with this gesture on Erica's part that I immediately felt at home and extended my stay for two more days. This hotel is first class. It's super clean all around, including the rooms. It's simply a well-managed place. The restaurant food and service was superb (food was at hotel prices, as expected, but breakfast buffet was free). Excellent wait staff. I highly recommend the Richmonde Hotel Iloilo and I will certainly be back.

It has been a while since I stayed in Ilo-ilo so i had no idea where to book us for the weekend of my mom's birthday. I had a good experience with the Smallville area back when it was still in development more than 10 years ago so i figured to search for a hotel in the area. I loved Smallville 21. Booked a deluxe room for 3 and requested for an extra mattress (more like an extra bed really). What we loved: - Clean. - Room was huge. Surprisingly huge. - Natural light for the room was available. - Hot shower and toiletries were complete. - Bed was firm and comfortable. Even the extra mattress. - Area was filled with activities at night. For our room, the ”noise” from the live bands outside were not that much of a bother. - Accessible esp if you have your own car. - Friendly staff. Special kudos to Cybelle (sorry if I spelled your name wrong). You were awesome coordinating with us on the phone. - Hotel has its own restaurant which is filled with people during meal hours. - Enough parking. If I could nitpick on something, i was looking for hotel slippers which wasn't provided in our room. Nearby places: - Atria District - Ilo-ilo River Esplanade - The Venue - SM (around 3km away) - Festive Walk (around 4-5km away) - Plenty of other bars and cafes Deserves the 5 stars. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

As a business traveler, my top concern is the safety and security of the hotel that I am staying. I was pleased with my stay in Park Inn Iloilo because of how secured it is in the hotel. It reminds me of my stay in Conrad Manila; I would say Park Inn is the best hotel I have stayed in Iloilo so far. Already booked another 2 nights for my next business trip in Iloilo next month. Thanks to Hello Mga Beshies for the recommendation on where to stay in Iloilo. :)

It was nice and the location is very good and accessible to a supermarket and bars for leisure.

CALL THEM BEFORE GOING TO THE HOTEL TO CONFIRM. Booking was not confirmed as per the front desk. When I checked in I was told that the booking was not confirmed on the system of Zuri Management. Apparently, this issues was recurring since I also encountered other 3-4 more travelers who experienced the same thing. These people booked through Agoda, Booking and I booked through Trip. It seemed like the Zuri Management cannot handle their overbooking issues. Good thing they still have a room available to provide for us. However, they made me pay again despite having been charged already. Someone should take accountability of this issue. It is unfortunate though that some travelers went through the hassle of this and some even have a PWD and senior with them.

I traveled to Iloilo for business and I was going to stay at Courtyard supposedly from March 17 to April 1. An unfortunate situation happened while I was in the middle of this trip - my mother died on March 23rd and I had to cut my trip short and leave Iloilo March 24th. I checked out of the hotel at around 7pm and I informed the front desk about my situation. Since the reservation was booked through Navan (who used Priceline) - our company travel booking application I knew that any refund for the unused leg of my trip would have to go through them. I did inform the front desk when I checked out that our travel agency might contact them and told them about the situation. I just returned home from the funeral of my mother and checked with Navan if the refund was already processed. I just found out today that Courtyard by Mariott Iloilo flat out DECLINED the refund despite knowing that the reason for the cancellation was due to the unforseen situation of my mother having died while in the middle of my business trip. The management of this hotel has no empathy towards their customer and I will never ever stay here again. I will also ensure that none of my colleagues from my company (the biggest private employer in the Philippines) will ever stay here again by writing an incident report and sending it to our leadership and executives.
