"Centrally located so any easy walk to most tourist spots around downtown and very easy access to public transport. The breakfast and kitchen set up was busy but very clean and efficient and the whole communal downstairs area had a friendly and comfy vibe without being overly noisey or hectic. Being able to store and cook my own meals was a plus. Beds were large and comfy although a tiny bit awkward on bottom bunks not having enough space to sit up .. only a minor negative though. The power outlets, light and shelf in the bed was very handy. A great bonus was the free guided local tours offered each day utilising public transport - so you just paid the fares as you went along (very cheap)."

"Had a great stay at the Sandman Hotel in downtown Vancouver! I was pleasantly surprised with a complimentary upgrade to a room with a king-sized bed, which made the stay extra comfortable. The location is absolutely perfect—right in the heart of downtown with easy access to shops, restaurants, and major attractions. It was super convenient to walk around and explore the city. The staff were friendly, professional, and quick to help with any questions I had. The room was clean, modern, and had everything I needed for a relaxing stay. The only downside was the $25 per day charge for parking, which I wasn’t expecting. It’s something to keep in mind if you’re bringing a vehicle. That aside, everything else was smooth and enjoyable. If you’re looking for a centrally located hotel with comfortable rooms and great service, the Sandman is definitely worth considering. I’d happily stay here again!"

"We stayed here for 25 nights during a business trip, and overall it was a very satisfying experience! May was warm and thoughtful, which made my stay comfortable and easy. The neighborhood was quiet, clean and cozy , and felt very safe, with friendly surroundings. There are also restaurants and cafes within a short walking distance, making it very convenient for daily living. I would definitely recommend this place for long-term stays!🖤"

The room was a good size - not massive, but easy for 3 people (couple + child) to live comfortably. Location is great if you're looking for something near the waterfront. The fitness center (including full-length pool) is huge, and I believe people pay good money to use it as a private gym (which you get the benefit of for free). I would stay again in a heartbeat.

PPengguna TetamuMy husband and I stayed overnight in Vancouver to see a hockey game. The hotel is close to many amazing restaurants within walking distance. It is also close to Rogers Stadium so that is always nice so we don’t have to pay for parking or cabs. The staff were amazing and accommodating as we’d asked to have a room with a balcony, which they were able to do. We had dinner out but had brunch in their restaurant which is on the 5th floor. The atmosphere was so magical, all decorated for Christmas but it was also warm and inviting. For whatever reason (maybe bcause it was a Tuesday morning) we were the only ones in the restaurant until half way through our brunch, then only one other couple shared the dining room with us. The food was INCREDIBLE and our server Lee was the sweetest most kind person I’ve ever meet. After our brunch we sat by the fireplace with our coffees, relaxing before our 12 pm checkout. It felt like we were in a Manhattan brownstone. We will definitely be coming back in the future and certainly will recommend this hotel to our friends. Staying at LHermitage was an oasis in the midst of a very hard 3 weeks of me just having lost my mom. Thank you 🎄❤️

There is also a highly rated Mr.Schwarma food truck. 2 blocks from the hotel, on Hasting Street, there is a very good place for pizza called Nightingale. For transit, Burrard Station is right next door. Vancouver City Centre Station is within comfortable distance. We would definitely stay there again if we visit Vancouver next time!

SSofialThe staff were very helpful and welcoming upon arrival, always willing to assist with anything we needed. However, when we first entered our room, there was a very strong smell of paint. We were told it had just been painted, but the odor was so intense that staying there would likely have caused discomfort, so we requested a room change. They accommodated our request, although the only available option was a smaller unit. Another point worth noting is that Trip.com indicates the hotel accepts a cash deposit, but at check-in we were informed that only card payments were allowed, which was inconvenient. Additionally, the room had some constant noises throughout the day and night — I couldn’t identify the source, and they continued even with the air conditioning turned off. There is also a vending machine right at the hotel entrance, but it was not working properly. I inserted money and did not receive the products; however, the front desk staff promptly assisted me and helped resolve the situation, which I appreciated. Aside from these issues, the hotel offers good value for the price, and the location is excellent, making it easy to get around and access nearby attractions.

PPengguna TetamuIt would have been really important to mention that they have cats. You know. To someone like me who is very allergic to cats. I have emergency medication for this kind of BS. I was there one night but I would have rebooked if was not way too late. 1 night of sleepless wheezing misery. Without the allergy thing, the rooms were hot and airless. People were leaving the doors open and using fans to blow around the cat dander, I mean air. It's not safe to leave doors open, but that's the guests. The ladder for the top bunk (bunkbed) had one side not covered. It's sharp metal and easy to cut yourself on. These issues are not hard to fix, hopefully they can improve, since that location is perfect for walking to and from concerts. Hey if you love cats, still be careful, this neighbourhood can be dangerous.

GGeiorgiestravelsVery convenient location if your sim is to be right in the city center. The two subway train lines are within a couple of minutes walk ,as is the main high street. The Canada line provides a direct route to the train station (tip: buy a day ticket and it will cost less that the ticket to cross zones plus the additional airport surcharge). The Canada line is so convenient that if you did not care about being in the city center then staying somewhere else along the line further out may be cheaper. Hostel was clean and well organized. There is a strict no eating in the room policy, though there are kitchen facilities to be used. Hire a towel. Rooms and front entrance has key card access. Room has no Aircon so can be warm, though there is a small electric fan. The room with two beds has bunk bed, cages under the bed and a stool….that is it. There are no privacy curtains, individual dockets or lights for each bed, only the main room light so make sure you have a touch/light, though as the curtains do not block all street light the room feels as it has a nightlight on and does not ever get really dark. I stayed Saturday and Sunday night. Sunday was quiet , though the hostel is above a bar and do Saturday had music playing for many hours while trying to get to sleep not the place for light sleepers.
