We are really grateful to 索南仁青 (Emilio) for the top notch service rendered to us and appreciative for going the extra mile to help us. My friend was resting in the room and had altitude sickness and he actually quickly informed us as we are out for sight seeing. He even checked with us the following day on his condition even though we have already left the place. He also gave us an introduction of ******* traditional medicine, doing some handmade incense and some gesture gifts to us. We would recommend travellers who are looking for a place to stay, this is the one!

Very cool space -- all glass inside and outside, with nice views of the temple complex from some rooms. Decor is also very tasteful and hints at ******* culture. All that open space can get cold -- but we were given plenty of blankets and space heaters. We were lucky to be completely alone in the entire hotel, though I can imagine it could also get noisy with other guests and all the glass exposure. Staff is super kind, took all our preferences into account and were willing to arrange our stay there even though it would have been simpler for them to put us up in the main building. Included food was attentively prepared and kindly served, and oh those cats are so sweet and fun!

If you’re considering staying here, just book it. After four years living in China, this was my farewell trip, and I was incredibly excited to experience ******* culture. I could not have chosen a better place. The family is simply wonderful. They arranged airport pick-up, helped me organize trips around the area, changed my breakfast so I could try authentic local food, prepared homemade yogurt for me every evening, and even introduced me to friends who spoke English. Their hospitality was beyond anything I could have expected. I have travelled extensively all over the world, and without a doubt this family has made this one of the best trips of my life. They even invited me to watch a movie projected onto the courtyard wall with them one evening – a memory I will always cherish. As for the hotel itself, it is spotless. I’m very particular about cleanliness, and everything was impeccable. The quality of the towels, bedding and furnishings was exceptional, and the hotel is absolutely beautiful. I stayed for five nights and was never bored. Xiahe has so much more to offer than many people realise. I honestly cannot recommend this place highly enough. Thank you for making my stay so special ❤️

The best aspect of this stay was by far the owner. He was incredibly, incredibly helpful and friendly — from the moment I walked in the door he offered me a cup of tea, then provided tea and bread the next morning for breakfast, offered advice on what to see in the area, arranged a car to take me to Dalzong Lake, and finally even found me a spot on a local minibus going to my next destination. I couldn’t have done half the things I did during my stay in Xiahe without his advice and efforts on my behalf, so that alone made staying here fully worthwhile! It’s worth mentioning that the guesthouse’s architecture is also absolutely beautiful, and everything looks quite new. It’s located down a quiet side alley off of one of the main commercial streets in town, which seems like the ideal placement. On the accommodations: I stayed in one of the two tents erected on the second floor of the guesthouse. This was largely quite a good experience! The bed was very comfortable (with a heated pad), water and towels provided, etc. The tents are not in a closed-off area, but rather on the second floor/balcony area that also is used for sitting, serving tea, etc., so privacy is somewhat limited, but the whole guesthouse is relatively quiet anyway so it doesn’t feel like a public space. My only suggestions for improvement would be related to the bathroom: during my stay, the shared bathroom for the tents was a sort of temporary-style booth installed in the corner of the room with a toilet, sink, and showerhead. The bathroom was very clean and everything inside worked well, but its sliding door separated from the wall enough that there was always a substantial enough space on one side or the other that could be seen through (the door also didn’t lock and slid back and forth easily). The booth was also small enough that, realistically, I think it would be a bit of a challenge to actually use it to shower. If possible it might be worth looking into some simple fixes to improve these situations, but otherwise I have no complaints!

設施齊備，星空頂室內有暖氣裝置，晚上也很暖，不用擔心受凍問題。室內乾淨衞生，洗漱用品一次性拖鞋一應俱全。環境很好，景色特別特別漂亮，很適合出片兒。星空頂房間晚上可以拉開簾子看星星，體驗很新奇且無雷點。晚間篝火晚會氛圍很好，抬頭有很多星星，能看到北斗七星和流星，好多人一起唱歌，老闆唱歌特別特別好聽，還給每一首或完整或零碎的歌兒伴奏，讓人不虛此行。老闆和工作人員都很熱情，包括老闆養的可愛小狗！老闆家的小姑娘特別特別聰明可愛，來的話可以一起玩兒撲克牌一起拍照。🥰🥰🥰天氣熱可以去日咖夜酒酒吧裏坐，餐吧很近提供送飯服務，很方便，早餐有提供酥油糌粑。附近就有騎馬的地方，一路過來風景更是好得一塌糊塗。服務很好，推薦指數一百顆星！！！

Incredible stay at the Xicheng Inn. The hotel is very cozy with fascinating decor. I loved spending time in the third-floor library, filled with cultural artifacts, games, and books – you'll never get bored! The hospitality from the hotel staff is also unmatched. I stayed alone but never felt lonely. They take guests on walks around the city to discover ******* culture. I recommend staying here not only for the comfort of the hotel but also for the wonderfully warm atmosphere. 在Xicheng Inn 的入住体验令人难忘。酒店装饰别致温馨，三楼的图书室尤其迷人——里面摆满了文化工艺品、游戏和书籍，待上一整天都不会无聊！酒店员工的待客之道无可挑剔，我虽是独自旅行，却从未感到孤单。他们会带客人漫步古城，领略藏地文化风情。我强烈推荐这里，不仅因为舒适的住宿环境，更因那份宾至如归的温暖氛围。

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 強烈推薦！超有氛圍感的藏式寶藏民宿 這次入住體驗太驚艷了！一進大廳就被濃郁的藏族傳統風情深深吸引。整個建築是全木質結構，雕刻非常精美。最讚的是大廳中央的透明玻璃天窗設計，白天陽光灑進來，通透又明亮，仰頭就能看見藍天，拍照超級出片！ 大廳裏細節滿滿，中央擺放着精緻的藏式爐灶和茶具，角落裡有扎木念琴，隨手一拍都是故事感。房間圍繞着中庭分佈，乾淨整潔。老闆和工作人員也很熱情，在這裏不僅是住宿，更像是一場沉浸式的藏文化體驗，強烈推薦給來旅遊的朋友們！

We are from Singapore, My son and I had one night satisfying stay in Yanou Sangke Camp . It is located on a beautiful and tranquil grassland. Lying comfortably in the clean and cozy wooden cabin, we could gaze out the window and enjoy the rolling mountains in the distance and the lush greenery nearby. Beside the cabin flows a winding river, its water moving gently and sparkling under the sunlight. Everything felt so peaceful, relaxing, and idyllic. The camp owner and staff were exceptionally warm and welcoming. They helped transport our luggage to the cabin. The cabin restaurant was also charming and cozy, allowing guests to enjoy delicious meals while admiring the scenic views outside the window. In the evening, there was a campfire gathering at 8 p.m., which added to the wonderful atmosphere. Even my son, who is usually quite particular and hard to please when it comes to accommodation, was extremely satisfied with our stay here. 燕鸥桑科营地位于美丽而静谧的草原上， 躺在干净整洁的木屋里， 看窗外，远处山峦起伏， 近处绿意盎然。 木屋旁有一条曲折的小河， 河水缓缓流过， 河面上闪着细碎的光！ 一切是那么的美好而松弛！ 营地老板和服务人员都很热情 ，把我们的行李拉到木屋， 木屋餐厅也很温馨， 用餐的同时可以欣赏窗外的风景。晚上8 点也有篝火晚会 。 非常满意的住宿 , 强力推荐👍👍👍

Very convenient location. Just walking distance to Labrang monestry. Really nice place and nice view from the hotel. Breakfast is nice and front desk attitude is friendly. Highly recommend. If you like to try some ******* style hotel, this will be the best option. Thanks

We had such a good stay here. The rooms were very clean and cosy, and they were heated really well for the winter weather. The window to our room opened our onto the common area which is a beautiful room filled with plants and seats and pools of water. The whole building fills up with light and makes it a really nice place to stay. The location is a little far away from the main area of town, but this is not a problem at all since taxis and mopeds cost less than 5 yuan to get to town and Labrang monastery. Do not let the location put you off. The owner was incredibly friendly and very helpful. He made us breakfast and organized taxis to get us around. He gave us a great recommendation to go to the Bajiaocheng Ancient Site (picture attached), which I recommend EVERYONE does, it was amazing and our host organized it all for us. I would really recommend staying here. There is also a crazy kitten running about the place who we loved. Oh and you can do laundry free of charge.
