"The breakfast was really lavish, featuring local specialty sashimi and seafood rice, along with grilled fish and other dishes. I drove myself, and the parking lot is on the hillside next to the hotel, requiring a few minutes' uphill walk. As for the environment, the hotel is generally quite old, and it seems most places there might be a bit aged. However, the rooms all offer sea views, which is a nice touch. The onsen area is quite simple, somewhat resembling a public bathhouse."

"It was nice stay! The onsen was tiny but the quality of water was so nice. The only thing you should be careful about, that the rooms without a private bath might be without a shower. Location, view and other things are cool!"

"A very modest inn but overall the experience was decent. Water was only provided on the first day during checkin and subsequent days were a bit confusing as they are not in the room. Some Japanese is needed to have a smoother breakfast experience but was decent."

"Booked this hotel to see the Atami Fireworks Festival, and it was pretty good value. Since our room didn't have a sea view, the front desk gave us two tickets to watch the fireworks from the rooftop. The room was clean, just a bit small. Slippers were reusable, but they provided disposable towels, two per person, along with skincare products and hair oil. The stay included breakfast and dinner for two, which was enough to fill us up, and featured some local specialties like Atami pudding and ice cream. Getting a taxi was difficult; we needed help from the front desk (some staff weren't very helpful; they said they'd call a taxi for us but didn't, so we ended up taking the hotel shuttle to Atami Station to catch one)."

"We managed to book the family suite we had our hearts set on, and the ocean views from the two large windows were absolutely breathtaking. The hotel boasts a charming retro Showa-era ambiance; despite renovations, its historical character shines through everywhere. We only had a chance to visit one of the public baths, and the outdoor bath there offered a truly spectacular view. We also booked a private onsen, where you could enjoy soaking while indulging in ice cream. We had the second dinner seating, so some dishes were already finished. I highly recommend making your own kaisen-don (seafood rice bowl) with ingredients like tuna, trout, and sweet shrimp, and then pouring dashi broth over it to turn it into chazuke. After dinner, you can explore the game corner and KTV, but do note that playing games and karaoke are not free. The hotel itself is quite expansive, so I recommend taking some time to explore all its corners. In short, we thoroughly enjoyed every moment!"

"This hotel far exceeded our expectations, it was excellent! Taking a taxi from Atami Station to the hotel is free, and the taxi back to the station from the hotel is also free, which completely eliminates the hassle of lugging suitcases around. The room was very spacious and offered direct ocean views. All the drinks in the minibar were complimentary, and on the 3rd floor lounge, there were snacks and a variety of drinks available for enjoyment. It was truly delightful to have a drink and chat there. The breakfast was delicious! You could even make your own orange juice; three oranges equaled one cup of juice, and it tasted amazing! I will definitely come back again!"

"The hotel service is first-class. There are waiters to help carry luggage throughout the entire process. There are also waiters to introduce the food during the meal. The food is first-class and delicious. Yukata is thoughtfully given to children. The environment is beautiful, and it is an unforgettable and enjoyable one-night hotel trip."

"Everything was great and sometimes far above our expectations. The building is quite new, very well designed, each room has it's own name and has panoramic view from the balcony. We loved everything about our stay: from meals (which were surprisingly good, despite some negative reviews!) to spacious room and relaxing onsen... Separately I'd like to highlight the service: unfortunately I didn't ask the name of receptionist who hosted us, but her warm welcome, perfect English and readiness to help with everything was heartwarming! She definitely made that stay for us! Although location is a bit far from train station and might not be convenient if your goal is to explore Atami and its surroundings, however for those travelling by car (like us) it is perfect: it is in very calm and tranquil area on the cliff, ideal for relax and rest. They also provide free and spacious parking, so nothing to complain at all. Overall to me it was 11 out of 10."

"An amazing place to stay with a location which is near lots of restaurants and even a grocery store. It is a 5 minute walk to the beach. Also there are private hot springs on the top floor which are constantly available and free to use! Loved this hotel very much and it made the stay at Atami very magical and memorable. "This was a very pleasant experience. I stayed alone for 4 days. Every day before going out, at breakfast time, and before returning to the room after returning at night, I would chat with the Chinese staff lady (I called her sister when we first met because she was really very young). She was very warm and considerate, well-educated and very professional. I looked forward to seeing her every day. Another Japanese staff member was a very cute boy. Although we didn't speak the language, he was very patient waiting for me to type and ask questions. He would proudly tell me how he solved the small problem in my room. Songyue is very close to Kinomiya Shrine, and I would go there to sit before returning at night. It is a little far from Atami Station. Google even gave a road that required carrying a suitcase down the stairs (in fact, you can get there by walking a little further forward). Moreover, Kinomiya Station, which is one stop more than Atami Station, is closer to Songyue. It is recommended that if you don't have much luggage, you can also go from Atami Station to Kinomiya Station, which will be much more convenient. The room is very quiet, very clean and comfortable. The hot spring water is next to the room. It comes from Kinomiya Shrine, which is very comfortable. The only disadvantage may be that the geographical location affects the poor wifi signal. I sincerely hope that I can have the opportunity to come to Songyue again soon, and choose a season with fireworks festivals, plum gardens blooming, or fireflies!"
