PPengguna TetamuI suppose the charm of Atami is that the whole area is a little bit 'dated' as far as a resort goes, and this hotel definitely aligns with that - it seems like a place that was once great and is now kind of just rolling along bringing in what money it can.
The food is serviceable but totally uninspired - an upscale cafeteria masquerading as something better than it is with 'chefs' wearing their whites. The entire dining room constantly smells of fryer oil from the tempura - which they still make and keep stock of in such large quantities that it is never fresh and crispy anyways (especially the shrimp, which has not been sufficiently dried before battering). The remaining hot dishes are very disappointing both in terms of variety and overall flavor. The sushi and sashimi is the standout of the food, although it too is very basic - not anything that will blow your mind, but acceptably tasty and reasonably fresh (although on our second night everything tasted a bit soapy/bleachy). As a westerner you will be very disappointed by the breakfast, although that's a 'me' problem rather than a hotel problem per se.
The spa facilities are nice but a bit dated - be careful in your selection of both time and location unless you want to be surrounded with many loud (mostly Chinese) children. Private spas are available and are quite nice, although again dated. Nonetheless at around 60 USD for an hour the price is good for the privacy, especially as a westerner who is otherwise subject to quite a bit of staring at this mostly local and Chinese spa.
We stayed in a deluxe king room, which was spacious with an enormous and comfortable bed, and a (For japan) reasonably sized tub. Room and desk service was good.
The hotel is a bit off the beaten path but has regular free shuttles to/from Atami station, which is where the main tourist streets for shopping etc can be found. Highly suggest checking out Golden Eye for some excellent Ramen.

AAvedisThis hotel really great for locationwise.. nearby all those eatery places and souvenirs shops. The onsen really good as well and the room quite big and clean. The only upset us since we booked another day through differrent apps but when we checked in we told the lady and also pay all the tax at the same time but we hv to check out and change the room. On the day we change the room the man charge us again the tax eventhough i already explained and ask him to doublechecked. On the last day we asked again and show them the receipt so they gave us back the tax money. Its not about the amount of money but their serve that i want to point it out.

KKWUS酒店環境很好，房間陽光充足，有海景；下午checkin時有自助零食bar，酒類、果汁、茶等都有提供；宵夜可以自製拉面，早餐更是自助烤魚；很驚喜的體驗。
酒店有大眾浴場，淋浴用品都是pola；更有漫畫角。
位置在半山上，酒店有接駁車，但時間段不多；建議由熱海駅搭的士上山，7分鐘車程，大概是680yen。如果行李較少，步行前往大概12分鐘左右，但上山路有些少吃力。

CCHEN非常滿意的一次入住體驗，房間非常大，乾淨舒適。全部阳台向海並帶𠕇私人溫泉浸浴。我們全家五人在兩个網站共訂了三个房間，酒店預先聯絡我们了解了各位入住客人的身高（以配置适合的浴袍）以及饮食愛好，特意為不吃魚生的加工好熟食。晚餐和早餐都非常美味，食材新鮮。入住兩天的菜單都有变化，魚生有龙蝦、甜蝦和各式當地當季的鮮魚和鰻魚，和牛也煎得非常到位，适合各位的要求！房間是現代简约及结合传统日式酒店的風格，我們有二间是日式、一间是西式風格的房間，彼此都相當滿意。lounge 在八樓，面向大海品尝冷、熱咖啡和綠茶、日本的各式小點心和果子，还可出阳台浸浸腳，不出洒店都能得到很好的休息！七樓更有風景很好、设施齐全的戶外风呂…… 酒店的所有員工都很热情、有禮、非常的專業！这是我們全家在日本渡假最滿意，一致感覺100分的酒店，並相約明年再來！

GGalya_the_Pooh2Everything was great and sometimes far above our expectations. The building is quite new, very well designed, each room has it's own name and has panoramic view from the balcony. We loved everything about our stay: from meals (which were surprisingly good, despite some negative reviews!) to spacious room and relaxing onsen...
Separately I'd like to highlight the service: unfortunately I didn't ask the name of receptionist who hosted us, but her warm welcome, perfect English and readiness to help with everything was heartwarming! She definitely made that stay for us!
Although location is a bit far from train station and might not be convenient if your goal is to explore Atami and its surroundings, however for those travelling by car (like us) it is perfect: it is in very calm and tranquil area on the cliff, ideal for relax and rest. They also provide free and spacious parking, so nothing to complain at all.
Overall to me it was 11 out of 10.

HHimeno Maria Nita BobierI have been staying at this hotel for so many times times and I just loved everything from everything about this hotel. The location, service to, amenities, food in the restaurant are so good considering their drink and eat all you can offer. They have 4 kinds of onsen and all are so good and relaxing and interesting. I will surely come back to this hotel in my next trips.

3. There’s a “living room” area for you to hang out with others but it seems to always be occupied by a group of people

1. There is NO light from station to the stay, so if you’re walking at night it’s REALLY scary and eerie

Rrptsha看得出是有年頭的酒店了，設施比較老舊，像房門鑰匙、開關、插座、座便器這些看着就是十幾年前國內3星酒店的標準。因為在海邊的關係吧，房間一進去就是潮濕的霉味，不過房間裏面有放凈化器。在花火大會當晚能訂到房，已經不容易了，雖然相比平時價格可能翻了3倍。房費包括2大1小的一泊二食，按3人鋪好了床、擺了洗漱用品。
早晚餐都是自助餐，要注意的是晚飯最好提前跟酒店約時間，我們不知道，去了現場被告知晚飯時間衹有第二場20點開始，還好我們的司機大姐跟前台軟磨硬泡，說我們要去海邊現場看花火的，給我們調到了18:30的第一場。自助餐品質雖然不多，但是味道很不錯，尤其炸蝦、蛋炒飯、牛排。軟飲、啤酒也是暢飲的，用餐時間70分鐘。
吃完飯，從酒店溜達到親水公園google map有兩條路，一條經過熱海銀座，人多車多店鋪多走起來慢，想感受熱鬧的可以走這。我們選了沿着系川河有台階的小路，去海邊是下坡走起來不累，大概12、3分鐘就能到親水公園，這邊看煙花正好。如果不想去海邊，酒店的5樓也有露台能看（當天有看到一塊指示牌），不過會被前麪的樓擋住一些。
看好花火回酒店，還能去2樓大澡堂洗澡、泡溫泉，舒服。第二天早餐最晚入場時間是9點。

PPumpkinOverall, it could be rated excellent as a local ryokan but may not be ready for international clients. It has won Rakuten bronze award 2023. I am particular about smoking and the non smoking room was full of smoky smell. Also surprised that I have to set up my own tatami bed etc. Staff dependent on google translate but stranded when there's no WiFi. They could have translated common phrases in text. Nice garden.

EeXoxideZNot recommended for a newbie. Check-in procedure was really complicated for foreigners, making a call to the host to get the password of the key box. Without Japan number I contacted the host by e-mail in Japanese instead that took some time. 500 yen onsen fee is compulsory. You need to pay more for a towel or amenities. The room and communal area with a small kitchen was good.
