"Love this hotel. It was clean and easy to find. A bit near the train station, there’s a 7-11 right across the street, near the bus stop as well. Uber is like 1 minute away. Love the room amenities and toiletries."

"We had a wonderful stay at Portom International Hokkaido and wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again. The hotel feels very new and modern, and everything was exceptionally clean and well maintained. The onsen was one of our favourite parts of the stay. It was beautifully designed, peaceful, and a great way to relax after a long day. We also appreciated having access to a well-equipped gym, which was spotless and had everything needed for a good workout. The room amenities were surprisingly comprehensive. It wasn’t just the usual toiletries—they even provided thoughtful extras like air freshener, onsen pj, actual pj, bedroom slippers which made the stay feel extra comfortable and convenient. Overall, the service, cleanliness, and quality of the facilities really stood out. Portom International Hokkaido made our trip even more enjoyable, and we’d happily recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable and premium stay near the airport."

"The hotel is conveniently located near JR Chitose Station, just two stops from New Chitose Airport (CTS). It is less than a minute's walk to the hotel. The room size is modest, as is typical for the price point(i booked early), but the bathroom is more spacious than average. A selection of pillows is available in the lobby for guests to choose from. Guests are required to use the self-check-in machine."

"I arrived very early after taking an overnight flight. I asked the front desk if it was possible to check in earlier and mentioned that I was willing to pay an additional fee if needed. However, the front desk staff repeatedly told me that early check-in was not possible, and the tone was not very friendly. As a result, I had to wait until 3 p.m. while feeling very tired. The hotel room itself was clean and tidy, and all the necessary amenities were provided. I also had a very comfortable sleep that night."

"Near to airport 20mins ride & provide shuttle airport pick up ONLY from 5pm onwards. Pls take note dont be deceive by the free shuttle. Transfer to airport (morning) can pre-arrange. Pre & Post Chitose trip we stay overnight here. Use their onsen (v small size of 2 bath tub). Beside they have free self service facilities - manicure, massage chair, stretching bar, bicycles & children playroom cum library. Use their free 3hr bicycle to explore Aora Park & cycle to Chitose JR station. Toileteries free self service from the lobby station. Standard Jap buffet breakfast- value for money if your booking come with it. Optional ¥1700/pax. Nearby got Ramen shop & Yakitori restaurant. Opposite the road is Lawson."

"Exceptional Private Onsen & Hokkaido Flavors. Overall Impression: A perfect blend of convenience and cozy. Despite the bustling atmosphere and classic, dark decor, the private onsen and dining experience make this a standout choice in the area. Hightlights: The room: Spacious with beautiful wooden floors and a private outdoor onsen. Soaking in the heat while snow falls is pure magic. Features like the ”His&Her” sinks and an in-room massage chair make our stay more comfortable. All complimentary in the room adds a thoughful touch. Dining: The buffet offers and impressive variety of local dishes alongside beautifully plated mains. Even when busy, the staff sustematically managed the seating, ensuring we enjoyed the stunning winter views comfortably. The Hokkaido cheese pizza and dessert are absolute must-tries. Location and Service: Perfectly situated in the heart of the sightseeing district, with famous sweet shop right nearby. The complimentary valet parking and polight, perfessional staff made our stay seamless. Observations: Atmosphere: The common areas can feel a bit crowded due to its popularity. Design: The room interiors are a bit outdated and lean toward very dark tones, and notably, Netflix is not available on the in-room TV. Note: Windows are fixed; ventilation is managed via the onsen balcony door. Verdict: Highly recommended for foodies and onsen lovers who want to be the center of the action."

"Great location as a first stop when arriving into CTS airport. It’s close by and convenient location. But what set apart this hotel are its restaurants. We had dinner and breakfast and both are excellent food quality and value for price. The breakfast at 3200 yen with crab soup is a value plus several made to order food items like the riceballs."

"The location is convenient, ideal for catching early morning flights, but the hotel entrance can be a little complicated due to a lack of signage. The rooms are clean and a suitable size, allowing for large suitcases to be opened. The staff provides excellent service. The breakfast offers a variety of choices and is tasty, and complimentary access to the onsen is included with hotel room reservations."

"Nice hotel with good facilities. We love complimentary noodles at 9.30-11am and free coffee at the lobby. Onsen is really nice and you can access reserved onsen without extra pay + free ice cream and you can access lots of drinks from the lounge only 1500 yen."

"This was my second stay at this hotel. As usual, the hotel provided free transportation to New Chitose Airport and breakfast. Although the facilities are a bit old, they are well-maintained and clean. I will choose daiichi hotel again on my next trip to sapporo."
