The check in was very easy, as was finding the location along of the villa on the beach. The condo/villa is absolutely stunning with a view of the ocean that cannot be beat. We appreciated the gorgeous sunsets, the pool and soaking tub on the 2nd floor balcony, and the outstanding views of the beach and island (Yojima) in the distance. The beds were some of the most comfortable we slept in while in Japan. We deeply appreciated the amenities - breakfast and food delivery (sausages, veggies, fresh bread, eggs and drinks) upon arrival, and found the layout of the house was fantastic for our family of 5. With two sleeping areas downstairs (kids), and an upstairs master bedroom (parents), we had MORE than enough space. One thing we would have liked about the location description online is an understanding that there is VERY little near by in terms of restaurants, convenience stores, etc. Depending on the weather, not much is walkable within 15-20 minutes. We ate at the Taco Rice restaurant, and walked 30 minutes to a local supermarket, and we drove the other places we needed to go. Also, the general impression we got from the website was that you can access the beach directly from the villa - sort of a, ”walk out to the sand” idea. You cannot. There is a 6-foot wall that separates the bottom floor of the villa with the actual beach area (needed for water level rising during storms, we get that :))... but there is no way down without jumping, nor a path to the beach (from our #3/C Villa, at least). We ended up jumping down the retaining wall using their small gate, walking around to a local business area that had a clear path, and accessing the beach that way. This was fine, don't get me wrong. Also, while the view is spectacular (and it really is), there is a TON of rebar from a former construction project (unfinished, we asked around) that sticks up out of the ocean at low, or extremely low tide (both of which we experienced while visiting - the extremely low tide happens each new/full moon, we were told). When this occurs, the beach stretches for 550 yards. We were able to ”walk and explore” (careful of course of the coral!), but for 1.5 days, we had a view of tons and tons of rebar sticking straight out of the sand, that stretched for 100s of yards in each direction. Again, this did not ruin anything, but it would be nice to know when booking a pricey room. I think the views are outstanding, given the timing you take the photo :) Overall, we would likely not stay again for the price, but it was a relaxing and splurge-y way to get that Okinawa sunset in at the end of long trip (5 weeks) in Japan. We are grateful for this adventure and my shared experience in this review is simply to help families understand more about the property. We traveled in mid-July. Thank you!

Hotel was great! There were food trucks and in-house hotel cafe that you could get your meals from. Super convenient! Swimming pool was in a separate block above the carpark which kept sound at minimal even if you are facing the pool. Room has all the facilities needed for those who DIY meals or wash & dry laundry.

We recently spent 4 wonderful nights at Kafuu and thoroughly enjoyed our overall experience. Highlights Service & Hospitality: The staff provided exceptional service throughout our stay, always welcoming, professional, and attentive to our needs. Dining: Overall, the food options were fantastic and added a lot of flavor to our holiday. Cleanliness: The rooms and property were exceptionally clean and well-maintained, ensuring a comfortable and relaxing environment. Eco-Friendly Program: We loved the option to opt out of daily housekeeping in exchange for a 1,000 yen credit—it's a brilliant, eco-friendly initiative that rewards sustainable choices while cutting down on waste. Room for Improvement Breakfast Selection: While most of the food was great, the Western breakfast option felt a bit lackluster and could use a bit more variety or a culinary refresh. Overall, it is a fantastic resort with great attention to detail, and we would happily return for another visit!

Het is een heel basic hotel met japanse stijl overnachten. In principe is de hygiëne goed, maar het hotel kan wel wat gemoderniseerd worden en een fris likje verf op de muren krijgen. Personeel is vriendelijk en je kunt er kosteloos wat te drinken pakken en eventueel je was draaien. Een minpunt vonden wij dat het heel gehorig is. Een grote kier onder de kamerdeuren laat al het geluid van de gang door en je hoort de mensen op de kames naast je.

I had an amazing stay at Rizzan Hotel! Everything was perfect from start to finish. The location is absolutely beautiful, with direct access to a stunning beach and breathtaking ocean views. The rooms were clean, spacious, and comfortable, and the facilities were excellent. The staff were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and always happy to help. The breakfast offered a great variety of delicious food, and the restaurants were also fantastic. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Okinawa. Everything about this place is wonderful, and I would definitely stay here again!

I enjoyed my stay at Best western. Waking up by the beach to the birds singing or watching sunsets from the balcony were complimenting my stay. The room was very spacious. And had a proper storage which you don't usually get in Japan. The restaurant served local food, the Okinawan soba was very delicious. The staff was very welcoming and supportive with all my inquiries. But you should mind the location there isn't much around the place so if you are traveling by car, there won't be any inconvenience, otherwise you'll have to use cab to get around. There is a station 10min drive away from the hotel where you can catch a transfer bus to the aquarium and try some local food.

Beautiful view and nice public bathhouse, but no cold plunge. The rooms are old and unrefined. Only two bright white overhead lights that cannot be dimmed, plus a single lamp on the nightstand that must be unplugged in order to plug in anything else near the beds, which are uncomfortable and creaky. Futon sets in the Japanese/Western room can only be used “with permission” and at an additional charge. Mini fridge sits on top of a baking sheet. Security latch for door does not have a corresponding part and is therefore is useless.

Everything is great with quiet atmosphere, very near the beach，there is 7-11 and Lawson store, which is really convenient to get some foods

Value for money. The room was spacious featuring a tatami area, a large bathroom and a kitchen. *No pots or plates etc* A convenience store directly opposite and many restaurants within walking distance. Free parking is also a great bonus. Despite being located on a main road, the room was quiet and comfortable. Decent playground next to it, good for family with kids. There are also few diving centres around the corner.

The location is excellent, with plenty of restaurants and convenience stores nearby. It's situated next to a main road, so you might hear some vehicle noise occasionally. However, I found it manageable since I'm not sensitive to sounds. The hostel is very clean, but on my last night, I experienced a dripping issue with the air conditioning around midnight. I attempted to contact the landlord via call and message but didn’t receive a response. As a result, I had to place a plastic bag under the AC and sleep beside the drip. That was the only downside to my stay.
