Alasdair the concierge was an absolute superstar. Will definitely be back! The Location is perfect, room was gorgeous, all of staff were super helpful and friendly. The adjoining restaurant and distillery are well worth a visit. Super recommend.

Stunning hotel, great location, and lovely restaurant and food. My only negatives as a woman travelling alone for work, I had to walk ( albeit a short distance) at night, to my accommodation and unfortunately I was in a ground floor room with the fabulous large bay window, directly overlooking the busy foot path and hotel walkway. As I arrived late afternoon it was getting dark and necessary to have the lights on, but unfortunately i had to close the curtains and keep them closed in the morning until I was showered and dressed as you could see right into my room . Also again as a lone female traveller, there is no phone in the room to call reception if I had a problem, I would have to go outside and walk to reception, so it didn’t feel entirely safe. Nonetheless a really beautiful hotel and had I been with my partner, then other than the ground floor issue I would have no complaint's

The room we had was massive. Hotel is bit quirky in that it is a collection of several large Georgian houses and they still have some original features. We had a lovely bay window looking over the river Ness. Guess down side is you need to go outside to move between buildings, but worth it.

We booked the deluxe river room and we're very happy with the accommodation. It was so nice relaxing at the end of the day and watching the river. It is close to the main tourist area but also a short walk to ness Island. The room was spacious and well appointed. The little details including the kettle with a nice selection of teas and towel warmer very much appreciated. We purchased the breakfast option. The convenience made it worthwhile but the buffet wasn't anything special.

We were in Inverness to visit family and had a lovely relaxing stay at the Glen Mhor Hotel. Great location, excellent service and the distillery tour and tasting is well worth doing.

My husband & I stayed here on the 5th-7th March. Where do I start?! What a fantastic hotel! We stayed in the Braeness block (713). The room was very clean, warm & quiet. We had a very comfortable 2 nights here. The tea, coffee & hot chocolates provided were a lovely touch. We did the brewery/distillery tour as we had £20 off as we were staying at the hotel. We found the tour to be informative & fun - the tasting at the end was a good learning experience. The restaurant, we had dinner there on the first night, food was delicious & we utilised the drinks vouchers for a couple of glasses of wine. The breakfast was a buffet, but excellent food quality. The hotel is about 5 mins walk from town along the river Ness & makes a great base for exploring the local area. Now, most importantly the staff. I didn’t get the ladies name who worked on reception (she had red hair), but she went above & beyond to get us an earlier check in as we arrived very early in the day. Restaurant & bar staff were all extremely friendly & helpful. We would certainly stay here again!

Wonderful hotel with welcoming, friendly staff. We stayed in a beautiful riverside king room which was well equipped and spotlessly cleaned. Breakfast was great but would be nice if there was a flag for vegetarians to see if any other cooked breakfast options available or perhaps to add potato scones or something. We also took a tour of the distillery and tap room where the knowledge shared was wonderful. Some lovely beers sampled afterwards in the tap room. Will definitely be back and a big thank you for making our stay so lovely! We had tickets for Eden Court theatre just across water so location was perfect for that too!

Lovely hotel in an excellent position on a quiet street and only 5 minutes walk to the centre of the city. The room had a comfy bed, powerful shower and a riverside view. The breakfast was superb, nicely presented and lots of selection. The only downside was that the breakfast staff looked like they didn't want to be there, no smiles and we often heard them sighing which was a shame because everything else regarding the hotel was lovely. I would still stay there again though.
