Hotel berhampiran bosoa, Ishigaki

Highly recommended. The room is beyond my expectation, it is clean and big. Donki and some of restaurant is around, quite convenient. It's not far to drive to CBD, but it is very quiet. I will definitely come back for next vacation.

Great service, amenities, and location! There’s a tour desk that can help with planning tours and the hotel has everything you need to have a great relaxing stay. I appreciated the little things such as disposable toiletries, cell charger, pajamas, slippers, small store, restaurant / bar, etc… the spa and bath is also located indoor along with an outdoor pool. We rented a car which helped get around the island and location is convenient to drive to the port to take the ferry if needed. Thank you for a great stay!

Hotel is located on the south of the island which is about 20-30mins away from the airport. It is somewhat near to the port (where the ferry services to other islands are provided) but it still take about 10mins of walking. Not the nearest in terms of accessibility to bus stops/ports/convenience stores as well. Hotel has bikes that can be rented but you’ll need to have some application that the locals use, otherwise the nearest bicycle rental shop can be found on the way to the port. Hotel can also help to dial for taxis if needed. Room has a washing machine that works well and the drying machine is usually available for use. Loved the breakfast at this hotel - from local ishigaki style rice, yaeyama noodles, sorbet to sashimi I looked forward to eating breakfast everyday. Hotel is clean and also has a working electrical induction stove, fridge, freezer and microwave. Only gripe would be the location from the port and/or most of the other local attractions located at the north/central of the island. Generally I enjoyed my stay here and the hotel staff were helpful and kind.

立地最高です！ホテル周辺にごはん屋さんお土産屋さんコンビニ有り、大通りまでもすぐで便利です。５階のカフェテリアは無料で利用でき、ウォーターサーバー、アイスコーヒー、さんぴん茶、シークワーサージュース、おやつにちんすこうあります^_^21時まで利用できるのでダイビングから帰ってきてのログ付けで毎日利用させて貰いました。レンタサイクルは５台ありこちらも無料でした。朝食は洋風メインで旅行中に不足しがちなお野菜もたっぷりで良かったです。グアバとマンゴーのシェイクも美味しかったです。 部屋には小さなベランダがあり、ダイビング器材や水着を干すのに便利でした。４日間の滞在でしたがタオル交換もあり快適に過ごす事ができました。部屋は狭いのでホテルでゆっくり寛ぎたい方にはオススメしません。

Great location. About two minutes walk to the port for island ferries. Most of the main shops and restaurants are also within a short walking distance. All rooms overlook the sea and have a terrace or balcony. The view is wonderful on a sunny day. Bedroom not huge but the balcony makes up for that. All the usual features are available including AC, kettle and hairdryer. Some areas seem slightly dated but it was excellent value at the time we booked (off season/ COVID) Reception is on the ground floor but the lift is external so you can come and go without passing reception. Possibly because of COVID, only a minimum cleaning service at the time we visited. Instead, we got two vouchers each day to collect a drink from reception. Enjoyed the beers more than a cleaning service! Staff at reception were very pleasant and helpful. There are also a few bikes which guests can borrow. Location is the clincher here but overall a really good stay.

ベッセルホテルは札幌から駅大変お世話なりまして この度石垣でも大変お世話になりました。 石垣離島ターミナル近くではありますが、空港バスから10分程度歩きます。雨さえなければベストですが、雨季には要注意です。タクシー乗るのも申し訳ない短い距離です。 ローケーションで3付けましたが、設備、サービス、朝食は満点です！ 特に朝食では沖縄ならの料理はもちろん！マグロや海ぶどうまで美味かったです！ドリンク！ゲンキも飲み放題でした！ またリピートしたいと思います。

景色が良く、サービスも至れり尽せり。 ロビーでのコーヒーのサービスや、大浴場での湯上がりアイスなど、主人も大満足。朝食、夕食の3つのレストランなど、とても美味しい。大きいホテルだが、エレベーターは2機あり、コインランドリーも十分。ポーターサービスはなく、ルームクリーニングはタオル交換のみにすると、1泊千円の館内利用券がいただけて、コスパも良い。車椅子の貸し出しを頼むと福祉協議会から、無料で借りておいてくださり、高齢の母の移動に助かりました。ビーチは遊泳できないが、ダイビングするので関係ない。きれいで過ごしやすく最高のホテルでした。

An extraordinary experience on a tropical island. I recommend this hotel for traveling with child. I stayed here for a couple of nights in August with my first grader. It takes 30 minutes from the airport by hotel bus. We stayed on the 3rd floor of the South Wing. The entire building is on the lower floors, so you feel as if you are living in a tropical village, full of extraordinary atmosphere. I got the impression that there were many guests with children. 　The rooms are spacious and new. The view of the ocean outside the wiindow is very nice. The bathrooms are clean. There are two washing machines on each floor, and laundry hangers are always available in the room, which is also very convenient. Amenities are simple but well stocked. The children's toothpaste was too bitter for my child. 　The pool is well stocked, including a pool for kids, and the kids seem to be having a lot of fun. There are several lifeguards on duty, which gives a sense of security. The beach in front of the hotel is amazing. It is deep enough for adults to almost reach their feet, but the water is clear and the small corals? It is clear, and the small corals are teeming with fish, so snorkeling is a lot of fun. Naturally, there is a lifeguard on duty, so it is safe. However, there are many coral fragments on the bottom and in the surf, so it is better to rent or bring marine shoes. After the pool and ocean, there is a large public bath. It is not that crowded. You can wash your body well in the solty. Breakfast is a buffet breakfast at Ryukyu Shintenchi on the first day and at ISHIGAKI BOLD KITCHEN on the second day. It is usually delicious, and the kids are satisfied with the fruits and desserts. For dinner, we reserved an izakaya in town for the first day and took a cab (about 1400 yen), but it was hard to get a reservation at an izakaya in Ishigaki Island during the high season after Corona. Cabs were also crowded, and it was hard to catch a cab, probably because it was far from the town. I was worried if I could really go back home, but somehow it turned out to be OK. We had a buffet dinner at ISHIGAKI BOLD KITCHEN in the hotel on the second day, and it was delicious. There was also an all-you-can-drink menu. Even if you stay for consecutive nights, you may not get bored with only the restaurants in the hotel. The South Wing is a distance away, so a cart is convenient to get you from your room to the front desk and restaurants. You may have to wait about 10 minutes for the cart to come, so it is better to allow plenty of time for the cart ride. The hotel staff is also very responsive. I am ashamed to say that I was careless and left without my card key and was unable to get into my room, but I called the front desk and they brought it right back to me. I called the front desk and they brought it to me right away. They responded with a smile even though it was a busy time of day. I really appreciated it. I don’t know where to begin with this. We’d been to Ishigaki Island before but wanted to try somewhere more isolated this trip so booked in a few days at Hoshinoya Taketomi. It was incredible. The pick up at the port is efficient and fast. The arrival and welcome is like a warm tropical hug. Aya who greeted us and checked us in was so delightful and explained absolutely everything we needed to know. She was a real star throughout our trip and a testament to Hoshinoya’s impeccable levels of service. You get driven around the site on golf buggies which I always enjoy - although I felt guilty making the team carry my heavy suitcases around (I stopped them when I could!) The rooms are individual Okinawa-style houses and they are what really makes Hoshinoya special. You get a home away from home that is exquisitely designed, modern yet traditional, private, and well-equipped. The bedroom has an incredibly large bed that makes it easy to sleep. The bathroom is huge and really makes you want to spend time in it. We did in-room dining a couple of times and it is definitely not room service. It is next level. As guests stay in proper homes it really feels special. The menu features mainly Okinawa Japanese favourites and they’re all great. We had the beef sukiyaki on the last night which was one of the best meals of my life. The pool is a really unique feature of the property. It’s huge! The photos we saw online don’t do it justice - it is so welcoming and fun to spend time in. The only thing I wish they has was a way to have drinks outside by the pool - which is currently difficult given the issue the island has with overly friendly crows (Hoshinoya is apparently getting a hawk to deter them though). The lobby where guests congregate is a real centre of the hotel. They run lots of guest activities here such as daily Okinawan music shows, awamori tastings, and more. You can also get complimentary coffee, juices etc here. It’s great. The gift shop in it is awesome, too. The property is located within walking distance of everything on the island - although they run all sorts of convenient shuttle services to and from the beaches and central village. I really didn’t want to check out of this place that really felt like heaven on earth. I’d love to get back there someday. Thank you to the whole team - especially Aya and Yuki!

The weather was not the best when we pulled up in our car but we saw that this hotel would be excellent for a longer stay in the warmer weather. It would be perfect for families. We could imagine how many fantastic memories could be made here. Our room was very spacious and had a beautiful sea view. It had a large bathroom with separate bath and toilet. We played ground golf which we had not heard of before. It was so much fun even for real golfers! We enjoyed the gift shop and purchased the obligatory SPAM bag and some biscuits. The evening buffet dinner was such a surprise . We had a beautiful window table which helped as it was fairly busy. The food was outstanding. The choice and quality and presentation was totally unexpected. We are still talking about it and will do so for a long time. Breakfast was equally as good. Sadly we only had one night here. I am not sure how good the more expensive hotels on the island are but we felt this one was a winner for us.
