If you are an Accor loyalty program member, please do not expect any special treatment. Everything you ask for is a no. No upgrades, as they will conveniently state the policy that's subject to availability. No late check outs once again sighting the subjectivity. Cleaning of rooms only when you request them. As a Accor Gold member, and paying for a deluxe room, I had a room with a view facing a dilapidated building. (Photo attached) Out of my three nights stay, I was moved to a Bosporus view room on the last night at 5 pm, that to to a smaller, superior room. Unlike the assurance of Accor to all its loyalists that they will protect pricing, I booked at 66000/- INR, as opposed to 45000/- INR available on several sites other than Accor. So please don't book this property with Accor. There is no taxi convenience at all. The Mesai bar facing the Bosporus is a fab bar, with exceptional music. Best to visit on Fri/ Sat. Engin Ecsay was the only good thing that the property had other than the Mesai. A good person in the bad property. If you are an Accor loyalist, unlike most brilliant service in Pullman Danang, Vietnam or the M Gallery Hoi An, Vietnam or Fairmont, Jairpur, India, this is bound to be a damper. A strict no no for for the price. Undoubtedly the location is fab, but there are better properties in Karakoy, Istanbul to be in at much better price and superior amenities. Please scratch this property immediately. Strict no no.

Lokasinya sempurna. Reka bentuknya sangat elegan dengan pencahayaan yang menakjubkan di bilik. Kakitangan hotel di penerimaan tetamu hebat dan mereka sangat membantu. Hanya penjaga rumah yang perlu dilatih kerana mereka selalu masuk ke bilik tanpa membunyikan loceng dan tidak mengatakan apa-apa bahkan tidak menutup pintu secara langsung. Ia berlaku 3 kali sepanjang penginapan kami, ketika saya baru selesai mandi. Seterusnya, saya harap mereka lebih mementingkan privasi tetamu.

A lovely stay. The staff were very kind, and attentive, from the moment I arrived. My room was small, so perfect for one. The bed takes up most of the space, so it would be a bit cozy for two people. Dinner in the rooftop restaurant was great, the entire hotel was spotless, and the location is perfect. It's on a busy street, but don't let that dissuade you. It's a short walk to the tram, or to the sites nearby. My only dislike was there is no security bar on the door, but there is a deadbolt. Most definitely, I will book my stay here in the future.

Just returned from a long weekend in Istanbul with a friend. We really liked the Azzap it's very central and well within walking distance of the usual sights. The hotel itself is spotlessly clean with a lovely reception area which looks both smart and welcoming. Yes the hotel rooms are small - but it's a city hotel, what do you expect!? The beds are extremely comfortable, with lovely pillows and linen, the rooms are well insulated, I know there were people next door to me and I other than their door opening or closing I couldn't hear anything else. I was in the room above my friend and he couldn't hear me walking around. The windows open properly, so you can leave them open when you leave and the housekeeper can close them when she has done the room. I love an aired hotel room! Breakfast is served in the restaurant on the top floor so you get a great view, the choice is small but it's fine and the lady at breakfast is always cheerful and helpful. Ther are couple of things I would like to mention, but this is just for the management to take on board... *the room safes are not bolted in which is pretty pointless, guests might not realise this and leave valuables. We kept ours with us. * I loved the fact that you had to swipe your door key to go to your floor - the lift won't stop unless it is yours, you can't press any other buttons other than your own. Fantastic! * except.... you can walk from one floor to another using the stairs * the carpet on the 6th floor when you get out of the lift to go to the restaurant and bar sees a massive amount of traffic - it looks really grubby All in all, we had a great time, I'd have no hesitation recommending the Azzap.

Estuvimos hospedados por 5 noches. La atención de todo el personal fue excelente, en especial de Tugce en recepción, siempre amable y dispuesta a ayudarnos. La ubicación es excelente, llegas caminando a muchas atracciones. El desayuno es muy bueno y variado. Los cuartos limpios y nuevos. Lo único que no nos encantó fue la ubicación del lavabo en la habitación.

I have booked at Pera orient hotel because it offers what I want from an hotel during my travels and the feedbacks were in its favor. Just after my booking was done I stumble on a negative review that was posted on trip advisor. I was worried about my choice. But when I went to Istanbul and stayed there, I felt compelled to share my own experience, which was entirely different and absolutely fantastic! I believe it's essential to give credit where credit is due. First of all , if you are seeking a resort , Pera Orient is not a resort and it never claims to be one! My stay at Pera Orient was comfortable and pleasant. Upon arrival, I was warmly greeted by the friendly and attentive staff, who made their best to help me in every possible way and to answer my queries during my 5-day long stay. Their warm smiles and genuine willingness to assist truly set the tone for my stay. The location of the hotel is ideal. A 6 min walk from the hotel takes you to Taksim square where you can take the Metro or bus to reach your desired destination. And it allowed me to make regular daily walks on istikal street . The street is a little narrow yes, but there are plenty of hotels all around that I have never felt scared or unsafe ( as it was mentioned in the negative review). And I always took the upward direction then turn right towards taksim. I was greeted by a spotless clean room with a tasteful decor. The bed was incredibly comfortable, The housekeeping staff was attentive and meticulous, making sure that my room was impeccably cleaned each day. Coffee and tea were left daily next to the kettle (sometimes with a bottle of water). When I will visit Istanbul again , I will definitely chose Pera Orient to stay in.

The building was old and I liked the room but there wasn’t any mirror in the room and you had to use the mirror in the bathroom. The only thing that bothered us was the small elevator, you had to wait for your turn. Only 3 or 4 people could use it each time.

The hotel is very near with Galata tower, around 100 -150 meter walking distance. So you will very happy with the situation around here, the coffee, the pathway, the bird. I stayed in one economy room, but I had a beautiful room with nice Turkish decoration, very comfortable bed and pillow, and good view too from floor -1. In lobby they offer free coffee/tea from the machine; and very good information to us about many things. When I arrived it was 1 AM, but frontliner very helpful, and fast responded to give me bottle of water to my room. The best thing is they have beautiful view in terrace on 5th floor , we can see the tower and the sea view. I didnt order an airport transport but i ask frontliner to order me regular taxi in very tight time, he helped me very much, and also show me the taxi. (Cons: some taxi can't come stratightly to the hotel)

Minha estadia foi ótima! Os donos ficam na loja de eletrônicos que fica bem do lado e o recepcionista foi muito legal, além de gatinho. Todos foram muito hospitaleiros e me ajudaram a pegar o transfer para o aeroporto. Ah sim, e também me ajudaram quando tranquei a chave dentro do quarto. O quarto era exatamente como o da foto, era muito limpo e o chuveiro quentinho e com bastante água. A calefação funcionava muito bem. As janelas são anti-ruido.

Venus entre amis pour un séjour de deux nuits à Istanbul, nous avions choisi cet hôtel pour son emplacement central et son prix attractif. Le réceptionniste nous attendait à l'extérieur malgré une arrivée tardive (2h du matin). La chambre était très correcte (1 chambre avec 2 lits double - 1 avec 1 lit double), douche et sanitaires en super état. La douche a même été changé durant notre séjour, à notre grande (mais agréable) surprise. Bien que l'hôtel soit encore en travaux (finitions), nous le recommandons pour tout ceux qui recherchent un endroit central ou dormir et pouvoir profiter de la ville d'Istanbul ! (2 min à pied de Galata Tower, ses bars et ses restaurants)

A good looking hotel from the outside in a great location but the rooms were not as advertised, they appeared to me to be tired, cheap & overpriced, and the problems we had meant it was a truly horrible experience. We booked for 2 nights in a deluxe double room at a good price of €58 p.n. which they describe as having a queen sized bed on *********** and being 25 sq.m. The room felt small with a bed that definitely couldn't be described as queen size (& cheap and a bit tired and messy). That afternoon before heading out to dinner I called reception to mention the room appeared to be the wrong room as my measurements showed it to be less that 14 sq.m. but reception refused to do anything and said to speak to the manager the following day. The following morning the manager said we had the larger deluxe room we booked and I showed him the description on *********** of 25 sq.m. and I showed him my sketch with measurements showing the room was less than 14 sq.m.. After refusing to do anything for a while he said he would move us to a bigger room (which is simply giving us what we had already paid for!) but he refused to accept we were given a cheaper room. I said were heading out now and we tried to move the day before given the room was way too small but they refused so we now simply want the price adjusted slightly lower to reflect the fact we stayed in the smaller room compared to what we booked and paid for. He said we had to come back at 3pm to get a refund as he finished then which didn't work as this was our only full day in Istandbul and we expected to be out all day. While we were out I was surprised to receive an email from *********** saying I was a ”no show” for my booking and that the booking had been canceled and money refunded. I contacted him and said we simply wanted the room we paid for or wanted to a small refund for being put in the much smaller room. He said he had canceled and we had to return before 3pm to get a full refund. We were left with no booking against our wishes and we needed to find somewhere to stay. I suspect he canceled our booking as we then have no way to post a negative review on *********** - there seem to be fewer negative reviews there than on Google maps so I wondered if maybe they try to somehow reduce/remove negative reviews. I would never recommend anyone stay here. P.S. there are only 6 reviews on TripAdvisor but despite me having the widest settings I strangely can only see a smaller number and they are only the 5 star reviews. I can't read the lesser rated reviews. Also there are no reviews since late 2021. This seems strange and I wondered if things are somehow being manipulated.
