Ulasan Movenpick Hotel Istanbul Asia Airport

Hotel was beautiful and staff were very friendly and helpful. Got to check in early and got a free upgrade to one of their suites which was simply great. Only downside was that this was close to the airport SAW so was quite far from everything and took about 2 hours by train/tram to get to the main area.

Hotel is very nice but there is nobody nearby including all of the restaurants that speak English. The difference between that area and Istanbul city is astounding. The hotel was nice I got the first two nights for around 80 US dollars The third night they wanted $150 and I couldn't see paying that at that price point. The pool is nice breakfast is quite expensive at 25-year-old person so I did not partake. If you have an Accord card between 7:00 and 8:00 p.m. they have a chocolate hour where you can get quite chunky eating their chocolate and fruit treats and their chocolate fountain. You have to get a card from the lobby. So the hotel was excellent if you're having an early morning flight at SAW airport. Otherwise it's really in the middle of nowhere. Staff is very professional and the hotel is in excellent condition but not worth 150 US dollars. The last night I was unwilling to spend $150 so I stayed at the Hampton Hilton about 150 m down the street and that included breakfast but no pool. The Hampton Hilton down the street from this hotel was only 68 US dollars a night including breakfast and the rooms were very nice. Would I stay here again if the price was right. Not worth $150 but definitely worth 80 dollars.

Very clean rooms, everyone welcoming and helpful. Easy to reach from the airport by taxi (no shuttle service). Great variety during breakfast. Major downside: cleanliness of cutlery and glasses during breakfast - all greasy. And coffee is undrinkable.

We had a wonderful experience at the Movenpick Hotel Istanbul Asia Airport. Every staff member I encountered, from the valet to the check- in to the cleaning staff were delightful and eager to help! Thank you! Will recommend to my colleagues!

I stayed in this hotel 1 night because I arrived late night and my next flight was in the morning. It's location close to Istanbul Asia airport (SAW). There were some nice restaurants around hotel. I could not have time to testify their facilities though.

Was the 2nd stay in the hotel: clean public area and room, friendly attentive staff, good sauna. Still missing a hotel shuttle to the SAW airport. It is so close to the airport that taxis don’t want to drive there. You need to pay extra.

Despite it being December the weather was warm but unfortunately there was no air conditioning to cool the room which meant that we had to keep the windows open which didn’t allow us to sleep as there was a lot of traffic noise and dogs barking all night. Called reception to assist with the matter, and the gentleman said he would send someone however no one turned up. In addition on one of the three days we asked reception to notify housekeeping to make the bed yet we came back and the room was not cleaned, bought this to their attention at reception and they were not bothered. We have stayed at this hotel numerous times this year alone and was not happy with the experience this time.

Very nice hotel, great for people willing to stay near by the IST airport. Friendly staff, clean rooms, good impression after all
