Great location near the famous Istiklal shopping street! Many restaurants , bars and shops nearby. The buffet was delicious with great variety. The staff were friendly and helpful. The bed is a little bit hard but clean. The bathroom shower has 1/4 glass and no door so it’s quite annoying. Good hot water with complete toiletries. One night the room smelled like cigarette smoke. I assume it came from the ac (centralized). Seems that they are aware of it as they were ready with a fragrance kit. You might also hear soft noise from the nearby bars .

Great reception staff! We were welcomed with freshly made juice and brought little treats throughout our stay. Any time we asked for assistance or more water there was no issues. Great location near major walking street. Twelve minute walk to Galata Tower. The facilities were wonderful. Delightful breakfast with a variety of salads, meats, cheeses, and local dishes. We would definitely come back to stay in the future!

Loved this hotel! Location great but loved the style and our room as a medium plus was well worth the upgrade. It was large and the bathroom a massive room alone! As a hotel guest we had access to the clubhouse next door which was great and we liked the cafe area downstairs. My only frustration was the bathroom was quite dark so not ideal for make-up application and the hotel hairdryer awful (in fact it over-heated and stopped working so I had to ask for another terrible version of said same hairdryer). Never understand why a top notch hotel goes super cheap on a terrible hairdryer?! and clearly a bathroom designed by a man as terrible for trying to put make-up on !! Other than that - SUPER!

Hi Hotel is in a good location; if you are able to get a room on the higher floors then the view is amazing. The room was a reasonable size and the beds were very comfortable. The breakfast was also good.

These guys are a scam operation. They’ll offer you airport transfer at inflated prices, there driver won’t show up, so you’ll take a different cab/taxi, then when you end up at the hotel they will make paying for the their shuttle (which was never there) a precondition for handing you the room keys (which was already paid for in my case). Total scam operation, rude front desk staff and general manager. I chose to leave that hotel there and then which my four suitcases and family of four, took a cab, found a hotel while in cab over phone, paid double obviously at the last minute, at another hotel, was greeted there again with the familiar Turkish hospitality and the worst travel nightmare came to an end. Plus the location is horrible, deep, narrow, steep alleyways, most larger van/shuttle type vehicles can’t make it without scraping their bottoms and getting damaged in the process, which if you don’t have a nice driver you may end up having to pay for. Consider your self forewarned, Don’t stay there. And like a typical scam operation they change their name frequently. Sometimes add Taksim to their name, sometime not. Pera or Agha or Orient in their name at different sites. their address is Duvarcı Adem Sk. No:35, 34435 Beyoğlu/İstanbul

I had read previous reviews which were mixed before booking. Having now stayed I can say that although not perfect most of the criticisms are in my experience completely unjustified. The staff may be reserved but are not unfriendly and were extremely helpful when my transfer taxi to the airport failed to turn up on time. This is a Turkish hotel with mainly Turkish customers. The breakfast is for this market. But there is plenty of choice and all of good quality. Just do not expect croissants or bacon and eggs. The room was small but was really clean. But I do not like a wash basin without a working plug. Sometimes at night there was the sound of music. I do not know if this came from the hotel or adjoining premises but it was annoying. Breakfast is served on the 6th floor terrace. The entrance step to this is dreadful and in my opinion hazardous and needs to be re-designed and replaced. But taken as a whole I had a positive experience

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful hotel; the decor is charming and walking inside feels like taking a step back in time. The rooms are at excellent value and all the staff are extremely attentive and helpful. The rooftop terrace is fantastic, with a breathtaking view of the Golden Horn. We couldn’t recommend this hotel more highly, and will definitely be coming back!

What a great find! Awesome little hotel tucked away from the hustle and bustle of Istanbul but yet only a minutes walk from the action. Loads of choice of bars and restaurants within 100m from the hotel. Very modern fit out, comfortable beds, nice sized bathrooms. Rooms are exactly as pictured. Couldn’t fault it. Look no further for outstanding accommodation in Istanbul. No 11 Hotel and Apartments provides a safe, clean and comfortable base in an unbeatable location. Situated down a quiet lane it is less than a minute’s walk from bustling İstiklal Caddesi at the Galata Tower end of Istanbul’s most famous street. I consider this the better end as you are nearer to Karakoy and public transport options to get you there. Alternatively, it’s a steep but pleasant downhill walk to Karakoy and you pass Galata Tower. What I especially liked about No 11 is that it offers an ‘apartment living experience’ as much as a hotel stay. Whilst guests enjoy a lot of privacy reception is open 24/7 should you need help and is looked after by helpful attentive staff. Thank you, Onur (night reception) for all your help! It was appreciated. You are provided with an electronic key card that provides secure access to the lobby and your room. From the point of booking all communication was excellent and management were very accommodating with any special requests. An excellent, filling ‘Turkish style’ breakfast (six euros) is served from 0830 hours. However, I personally feel this is a little late for those wanting an early start to beat the queues at tourist sights. Whilst some rooms have a kitchenette and fridge, crockery, cutlery and cooking utensils are not provided. I was, however, easily able to borrow crockery from the hotel kitchen. I stayed in two different rooms, both excellent and both with a small private balcony and view of the lane and life unfolding below. There is a small convenience store opposite the hotel and a fruit and veg store in a lane adjacent to No 11. A large Turkcell shop a few minutes’ walk away efficiently took care of my local sim purchase. I spent several nights at No 11, thoroughly enjoyed my time there and cannot recommend this accommodation highly enough. Excellence all round. I look forward to staying again on my next visit to Istanbul. Thank you to everyone there!

Pro: very close to Kadıköy pier, very short walking distance to Kadıköy shopping district, many restaurants, cafe, markets around, friendly hotel staff, clean and environmentally friendly as the hotel didn't use plastic bottles for soap and shampoo. Cons: not-that-quiet area thus ear cover is needed, the breakfast is located in other hotel, ... when I arrived at hotel, the staff told me my reservation couldn't be found even though a day before one of their staff confirmed my reservation by phone. I made the reservation two weeks before and opted the payment to be done at hotel. Short story: I was given a single room and the price was exactly the same in my reservation. Later I understand the price was lower than the ”acceptable” price for the hotel. Anyway ...
