WORST VIVANTA PROPERTY TO HAVE VISITED. Firstly they give me a room joining two single beds. then one fine morning they call me asking me that they wish to clear my room of my belongings and shift to another room. I was in a meeting and clearly told the front desk lady that It is not to be done until I am back. She calls again asking me at what time I will return. What kind of question is this? The room is there for another 2 nights. When on my return I ask if they still want to shift me then I will pack and move to the other room. She confirms the same. I go to my room and do all the packing. When my call at the front desk that I am done packing and ready to shift they inform me that there is no need to shift. I call on the duty manager who tries to explain that some engineering problem is there on the entire floor and the hot water connection is to be checked. That even we may have countered the same that hot water isn't available. They shift us from room 422 to 532. 532 was no better than 422. There was no hot water facility available in this room too. Pathetic. I still don't know why they shifted us. They did not have an answer to this. The Director Of Operations Mr. Abhishek Mishra even had the audacity to lie that the room was on DND so hey could not check the water piping in the room. saving grace was the food spread and people working at the restaurant especially Mr. Binam Rawat and Mr. Rabindranath. It was their smile and service that won our heart. The legacy of Taj has been destroyed by the entire front desk team. To cover for their harassment caused to us they did not charge us for 1 room night. Which was indeed an insult as they should realize that I booked the room after giving advance hence I can afford it. The management needs to change. Further I realised later that the Director of Operations has been transferred from Taj City Centre Kolkata. He should be aware of who I am. Room amenities were adequate. Good lightning. View is not that great from the room.

Good ambiance great food and service by Amiya, tried fish finger and egg hakka noodles which tastes great.... Enjoyed with friends on weekends. All servicing staffs are good and cooperative...... Will be please to be visit again here....

Excellent Service--from reception to F &B to All round. Special mention of Swati, Suparna and Simran in reception. Any need was instantly met. Excellent housekeeping. Breakfast was excellent spread. Great Experience all round. To recommend .

Over all very good Nice staff and overall comfortable stay. I am travelling a lot for business as well as leisure trip in India and abroad and our 1st choice is Taj. I also like to suggest for some incentive in a way by choosing as an option for the guest who are staying more than a day who prefer to use same toiletry and linen . Surely it will boost PAATHYA green initiative and surely save money also. Even we were member of Taj epicure for a long time and enjoyed membership . But since last year membership become too costly all of sudden which give almost no benefits on stay . So concerned team must seriously think on it.

Everything was nice. Buffet breakfast is probably one of the best in India... Apart from pool being under maintenance ... should have notified before hand. Pls update tv to smart tv . Dishtv is outdated Best hotel in jharkhand. Recommended for a lovely short staycation.

The food was top notch and the service by Andrew was too good. He ensured we were well taken care of and the buffet menu covered majority of the cuisine. We enjoyed ourselves to the fullest. Would definitely come again and surely recommend...
