1. I had european devices. No converters were available . This was my 3rd hotel in ksa and the onlz one that didnt have converter. The reception tried to work the problem out, sent me a technician who made a temp solition for one device but honesyly this was so bad . Not having converter 2. While being out i tried to contact the reception many times as i needed to ask about atms around . It was after midnight, 5 times i called and nobodz replied 3. The hotel is very far away from jeddah center 4. Room is cold even though weather is hot and ac i turned off. 5. I went to 3 hotels as said in 10 days in ksa, this is the least i enjoyed. 6. I honestly wouldnt consider coming ti this hotel again although the staff are so friendly but i had the impression that when i needed support , nothing happened . But the people's attitude was friendly to be honest but at the end of the day i wouldnt come again

This hotel has been recently (Dec. 2023) added to the 'Hilton Hotel-family', probably to have more Hilton hotels in Jeddah. It is an old(er) hotel that definitely needs an upgrade; the carpets in the hallways are dirty, the bathroom-furniture is outdated and old-fashioned. But the rooms are spacious and quiet. The location is not superb, allthough connected to the AlAndalus-mall and close to the more modern AlSalaam mall, located at the other side of the road. But if you want to be closer to the Corniche (coast), it's about 20-25min. away. The staff was very helpful and kind. Just accross the road is the Dr. Sulaiman Al Habib-hospital; since they are working on the exteriors of the hospital, (Uber/Bolt-)taxi-drivers may have difficulty finding the entrance of the hotel.

The staff at this hotel were so friendly and helpful. They made our stay so enjoyable and comfortable. The rooms were spacious, clean and well-maintained. The beds were very comfortable and the amenities were great. The location was perfect - close to the city centre and attractions. The hotel had great facilities and was very convenient. The breakfast was delicious and had a great variety of options. The service was excellent and the staff were very friendly and attentive. The hotel was beautiful and the decor was modern and stylish. We had a great stay and would definitely stay here again.

The hotel itself is clean but the rooms are very small and there's almost nothing but the absolute base. You have to call 4 times and remind them extra 3 times just for them to help you with anything in your room. I have asked them to join two beds together and they keep forgetting over and over again to send someone. Waited a whole hour for it, it's insane!.
The room is clean, and the prices are honestly really good. Sometimes I find discounts on it for 180 before taxes which is nice.
The location is a bit tricky to get to, but that's not their fault, they were there before the roads had changed construction.
Front desk/receptionists are the best, always super friendly and easy going. I would say they are the best thing about this place.

I spent a weekend there during the month Of March. Hotel is nicely located - quiet district although it is hard sometimes to find a suitable car parking - hotel parking is full and same goes for the surrounding Room is spacious - I have booked an executive suite 2 bedrooms- it is perfectly suitable for a family of 4 Cozy Restaurant - matching with hotel size- breakfast buffet was included in the price. Variety is OK Lobby is a bit small, they have a fitness with a covered swimming pool - tiny one - Building apparently is old… furniture in rooms , lobby & restaurants are exhausted and need to be changed Overall the hotel with its prices & services is worth to stay I do recommend it for families I’ll come back again

I am staying at Carawan Hotel Jeddah since 8 days and have a reservation for another 4 nights Yesterday I found couple of small cockroaches in the room and complained about them to the receptionist and he started smiling as if this a a normal thing for him and promised me to change the rooms within no time Nothing happened and I went out and came late Today again I found cockroaches crawling on the bed and went down to the reception immediately and again he promised to change in half an hour Waiting for an hour I went down and was told that the “labours” are on break and will be back after half an hour I asked him to connect me to the manager and he refused to give me his no and upon my insistence he called him and His excellently the manager refused to speak with me and I was told to go back to the room and wait I am also refused refund as this is a prepaid online reservation house keeping is on ”request” and not on daily basis

PPengguna TetamuI stayed for 4 days in this hotel as part of quarantine package in the month of feb 22. Amazing room with all digital controlled circuits be it curtains, room lighting, cooling system. Beautiful decorated spacious rooms. Food was better than expected. Being vegetarian, I know my options were going to be very limited but chef really helped me by making veg pastas and falafel sandwich etc. I would like to stay here again, for sure not under quarantine package, to explore more on the available facilities. Here I would like to give special thanks to the reception team (sorry I forgot the name of the lady and the guy on the reception ) who were always ready to helped me and assist at each and every steps during quarantine. A will surely stay again in this hotel.

PPengguna TetamuVery friendly, welcomeing, helpful and professional staff. This hotel has got great potential to be a good 4* hotel. I like that there was a Sauidi coffee to try for free when you enter the hotel with some delicious dates. Room was big and clean. Breakfast OK. Swimming pool and Gym OK- there are separate days for men and other days for women. Location is a bit far from centre 15 min by car.
Afew things should be looked at:
I have booked a nonsmoking room. Check-in was quick but I was given a smoking room with no working telephone nor working air-conditioning. I went down stairs and receptionist did her best to find a nonsmoking one. But, I had to check in too late and around 16:10 I managed to get into my room. There were no towels in room and I had again to chase this. Telephone did not work again and this didn't bother me. Cleaning room: cleaner did not come during my three nights stay but this was a big deal for me.

MMelindaThe rooms are exactly how is on the picture.Only what I didn't like that when we entered in the room had a little musty smell,but after we opened the window it was okay.There is nice cosy coffe shop onthe ground floor.Restaurants nearby the hotel.There was only 1 set of towel for 5 person but then we requested and they gave to us.The staff is nice,helpful.It is half an hour drive for main tourist attractions (for each place).I would recommend for those who want a stay within budget.

LLimit's devastating to ask for an invoice for 2 months for my 5 days stay. called both the manager and the front desk - Ahmed and Shaker and they just give lip service without action!
I was asked to move to another hotel during their ramadan season without prior notice and was informed that it would be better than this hotel. unfortunately went into a small hotel without hot water for shower. I paid and requested to refund as I had to find another hotel the same day, but was rejected.
what I want to say is the responsibility level of the manager in this jeddah grand hotel is very poor. I will never stay in this hotel again

NNormarliahBilik yang luas, kelengkapan perabot yang dihias dengan baik memberikan bilik itu rasa selesa. Katilnya selesa. Perabot lengkap dengan kemudahan di dalam bilik. Semuanya baik dan seperti yang diharapkan kecuali karpet dan langsir perlu dibersihkan/diganti.
Hotel tidak mempunyai sarapan pagi tetapi terdapat kedai dan pasar raya dalam jarak berjalan kaki dari hotel jadi makanan tidak menjadi masalah.
Tidak semua kakitangan hotel berbahasa Inggeris tetapi ada seseorang di sana yang boleh membantu.
