Administrators, front desk, staff, and caretakers were helpful going above and beyond to make my superfast and very tight-schedule in Jerusalem possible. Rooms were neat, clean, and pre-cooled - good for instantly sleeping in my case. I couldn't go for breakfast due to time constraints but the lobby smelled so nice that I have no doubt whatever was inside was amazing! (P.s. 80% of taste is smell). Location-wise, the hotel is located in the heart of Jerusalem and however it is currently rated 4 stars, I feel everything here is equivalent to 5 or 7 star hotel I have visited given that I travel mostly with work on my mind and/or have visited hotels with professional company. The hotel was silent and peaceful and one can work there. Food was too tilted on the romantic side. The location was great. All of this was just 100 Euros is also very economical. Thank You to the lady at the reception for helping me to order a Dominos Pizza at 1 AM when I arrived and staff who received it for me.

Room looks a little bit rundown but it was spacious and the ensuite bathtub made for a great way to relax after an entire day of walking around in the city. It was located a little distance from the Tram stop, so if you dont know the shortcut, it could take a while to see and walk to the hotel. Breakfast selection and variety was great, enjoyed the meals thoroughly. Location was near the civic centre and National Library, so that was a nice bonus.

Unforgetable experience at Hamsa Restaurant in Vert Hotel Jerusalem. This amazing hotel offers the most outstanding experience and best service ever seen. Dining in Hamsa restaurant led by deputy hotel director Mr. Firaz Izhiman is a real israeli and culinary pleasure. The dishes are more than tasty and the staff ( Asad ) is creating a good feeling to the guests. After such a great evening the only thing I can think about is that I ‘ll be back soon for sure!! Lovely small hotel in a very peaceful old neighbourhood which is thankfully holding back the developers. Very warm welcome from the owners - interesting history of the family and the building. I wanted somewhere quiet but walkable (station and old city) and 100% made a good choice. From the train station I would recommend getting the light rail to Mahane Yehuda and walk down through the market, as there is a huge amount of construction around the station (no noise at the hotel though). Obviously for it's size, reception isn't 24/7, so it was a little more effort to arrange check-in/out times (compared with a chain hotel), but no real inconvenience. Room was excellent - modern / clean and spacious (separate room for my son). Touring tips: (1) do Yad Vashem - easy journey by light rail (2) for a great rooftop view in the old city, look for the Austrian Hospice (towards Damascus Gate) - 5 shekels well spent. (3) do Bethlehem (take some decent maps) - get the 231 bus over the road from Damascus Gate. (4) for an easier/quicker route to the Western Wall / Temple Mount, turn right immediately after going through the Jaffa Gate. At 8am I saw less than 10 people on my way across...

The manager Sharon has made us pay for 2 rooms for 3 people.we ended up staying in one room and she was extremely rude and unpleasant she told me to have booking cancel the second room after calling her for a month to receive a refund. She then told booking that she doesn't want to cancel since I left an honest review on booking. I am a marketing specialist and I will do everything in my power to make everyone know the truth. At breakfast they will throw your breakfast away immediately when you turn around. Flies and insects all over their breads. They are so dishonest and unprofessional that they charged my credit card for 910 shekels for the day after we left. They ruined our vacation. Pictures are totally edited/photoshopped. Elevators weren’t functional when we got there, hallways and rooms had swarms of flies everywhere, shower had significant leak. Bed was little more than a sheet on top of box springs. Only saving grace was the dinner. Strongly recommend Google reviews this hotel for adding their own fake positive reviews.
