"I went for a 5 day business/visiting trip. Staying in the Waldorf Astoria Jerusalem is such a delight. This front-desk staff is extremely helpful and accommodating. Amir and and Alexei and many others whose names I don't remember went out of their way to make sure my stay was wonderful. In fact, they offered to have me move down from the 8th floor to the first floor for Saturday (because I don't use the elevator on my Shabbat) The breakfast staff is awesome- as is the head of the breakfast ( a very nice man whose name escapes me). The room on the 8th floor was newly renovated and gorgeous- the room on the first floor was perfect for my Shabbat stay. Cozy and perfect. I cannot wait to come back to Jerusalem and the WA is a cherry on the top in being in the most wonderful city in the world."

"Be careful. Stay away from this hotel. Parking is an issue here… but promises that cannot kept and rude security personnel is too much… They have service and help via the phone. But, they are not in the hotel and cannot help… Beside - dirty rooms and overall bad experience."

"It’s a modern and very sleek beautiful hotel. The employees are nice and helpful. However, the spa and gym are out of the hotel. You need to cross a bridge over the Mamilla Mall to get there but entering back, you need to ring the intercoms. The spa is very good, they give 10% off to hotel guest and the prices are very good once you convert it to dollars. The breakfast is a big buffet and is included in the stay. Overall, I would give the hotel a 4.8 star rating. We had a beautiful view of the old city. The hotel is located in the center of Jerusalem so you can get to places easily."

"This is a brand new hotel in a beautiful area opposite the Jerusalem Theatre. Easy walking distance into town and to Emek Refaim and lots of other places where you can find good cafes and restaurants. The hotel itself is beautifully decorated and the bedrooms are both modern and luxurious with a super comfortable bed and very plush towels and toweling robes. To complete the fantastic experience the staff are led by a wonderful GM and were all extremely friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend it!"

"This was my third stay at the King David Jerusalem, and honestly, it’s been the best experience each time. The hotel has a unique vibe—it’s a true grand hotel, elegant and full of history, yet still warm and comfortable. Everything during the stay always runs smoothly. The rooms are clean and well cared for, the staff are friendly and helpful, and the lobby has that same relaxed, welcoming, and elegant feel I always enjoy. Dining is another highlight: both breakfasts and the Saturday meal were excellent—tasty food, plenty of variety, and really good service. The pool and gardens are spotless, making it easy to just relax and enjoy. And the views of IMCA and the Old City of Jerusalem are simply breathtaking. What I especially like is how the hotel keeps its history alive. The building is full of stories, and the guided tours around the property are a great way to experience it - I really enjoyed them. After coming back a few times, I can say the King David has just the right mix of history, comfort, and hospitality - and they manage to keep that feeling steady year after year. It always feels good to return, and I’m already looking forward to the next visit."

"The Hotel is simply a Jewel in the hills of Jerusalem close enough to the city so you do not feel you out of touch and far enough away so you get a pastoral feel that provides a sort of biblical relaxation. The food , facilities and service are top notch and yet the prices and deals are way more reasonable than the standard luxury choices. The Hotel Manager and his executive team is personally involved with every aspect of making your stay wonderful that you would think you are in a very small bed and breakfast."

"We stayed as a couple at the YNCA Hotel for a long weekend. While the hotel itself was generally fine, our experience with the breakfast was extremely disappointing. We had booked and paid for breakfast in advance. Upon check-in, we were told there was a “temporary problem” in the hotel kitchen, and that breakfast would be served at the cafeteria in the adjacent sports complex. The breakfast there was poor in quality and variety — very limited selection, unappealing presentation, and missing basic items such as coffee, milk, sweeteners, and fresh vegetables. The food was neither fresh nor tasty. After speaking both with the cafeteria staff and later with the hotel reception, we learned that this was not a temporary situation at all. In fact, the hotel kitchen has been closed since the start of the COVID-19 pandemic, and the hotel has not operated its own dining room since then. This was never mentioned to us in advance, and new guests are apparently told it is just a temporary issue. This lack of transparency and the poor quality of the outsourced breakfast were very disappointing and left us feeling misled."

"I stayed at this hotel expecting a top-notch experience, but unfortunately, it fell short in several areas. While the rooftop view was fantastic, the cleanliness of the rooms was severely lacking. Despite paying a premium price, my room was not cleaned for the first two days due to staff shortages. When cleaning was finally offered, I was too tired to have someone in my room at that time. On the third day, the room was cleaned but not thoroughly, with trash left behind and surfaces unwiped. Additionally, the hotel was noisy, and it seemed like someone was smoking nearby, which was very unpleasant. The owner explained the difficulties they are facing, but basic cleanliness and a quiet, smoke-free environment should not be compromised, especially at this price point. Overall, the view does not compensate for the lack of essential services. I cannot recommend this hotel based on my experience."

"I am writing this review in the hope that the hotel actually bothers to read and respond to it, as they are not responsive to other mediums. I was booked and paid for my stay at the hotel in April. However due to the situation in israel our flights were cancelled. I messaged the hotel to advise them of this and to request credit if possible for the missed stay. TO date no response- very poor service. Take your money and not care."

"We stayed at the Banksy hotel in August and had a great stay. Before arriving they were so responsive via message to help us organise tours. When we arrived we felt very accommodated for. The hotel interiors are fascinating and I would definitely recommend this hotel if you have time to stay in Bethlehem!"
