Amazing food and service by the ferns staff! The head chef Santosh and Rambhadur and team made really good food, the restaurant manager Narpat was very courteous and made sure we had the best experience at the ocean restaurant, also the staff was very friendly and helpful. Over all very good experience.

Umaid Bhavan palace is a magnificent sight to behold! even more impressive to stay, but the experience the Taj people gave us, took it over the top and made our vacation truly memorable. The front office staff Rajnandini and two others greeted on our arrival at the palace with the traditional Arathi, and music. Rajnandini took us around the palace giving us much needed breaks to catch our breaths after seeing the dome, the sheer opulence majestically catching our eyes at every corner in a very tasteful fashion and the truly magnificent gardens with manicured lawns with a marvelous marble Gazebo at its center holding its own against the behemoth of a palace. We were then ushered into our rooms which turned out to be a Royal Historic Suite that took our breath away. We were asked if we celebrating any occasion and we mentioned that it was our marriage anniversary month. After a very brief and subtle check in process, we were given our key to the suite. The dinner was a Michelin star dining experience, with some amuse bouche followed by a traditional lip smacking Rajasthan dinner. Chef Shobit came by introduced himself and gave us brief intro to the Rajasthan cuisine and some of the must try dishes the waiting staff lead by Saddique, Karan, Manisha fed us throughout our stay with delectable dishes during breakfast, lunch and dinners and oh so yummy small bites at the High Teas which was yet another excellent daily surprise. Next day we heard a knock on the door around mid afternoon and a tall distinguished gentleman walked in and introduced himself as Swaroop Singh. A long tenured veteran in the palace he had come to tie the traditional turban and give us an exhilarating experience to re live the day I had proposed to my wife about three decades ago. He and his team of Rajveer, Surendra, and Bhupendra had worked hard to create a wonderful surprise for our anniversary. Our floor Housekeeping Caption Asif and his team of Hukam and others took care of us with the greatest attention throughout our stay. We took an extensive tour of the palace with Sikandar learning some very interesting facts. On the day of our departure, Malvika made the process very seamless and pleasant. It was with a heavy heart we left the palace which had left us with an indelibly wonderful experience, and the people who had won our hearts with their singular focus on ensuring that we, their Athithis were given the best experience. Taj truly takes the age old credo “Athithi Devo Bhava” to heart and ensures that every single employee that wears the Taj badge has this down pat and operates with a laser focus to elevate the experience of their guest to the next level. This is truly a testament to the leadership of executives at Taj like Arvind Sharma who embody the walk with the narrative and foster the environment that encourages the behavior to take the experience from good to great. Stayed here in the hot month of June, but did not find even an ounce of trouble. Narinder ji is very helpful, he helped us with our travel from airport to the haveli. The staff is very friendly and professional, especially Jatinder ji. He was there at every beck and call for any help whatsoever. The food was soo yummy! Loved the simple aloo jeera and dal so much! The hospitality is worth every penny , the rooftop is beautiful and spacious, even the interiors of every room are purely vintage-y! We stayed in the Maharani room and the interior was class apart! Highly recommend for anyone who loves quality stay, food and location!

the ancient temple (300 years old) was very interesting. the food was decent; we ate breakfast two days. the call to prayer at the crack of dawn is EXTREMELY LOUD right outside the hotel so beware of that. However, a STRONG caution: one of the front desk staff tried to take us out of the hotel to scam us. we wanted to go to the stepwell nearby and this boy insisted on taking us there. I didn’t know why at the time, I thought maybe he wanted to go too. We found out that he was trying to take us to a textiles shop for a commission. This is a common scam in India — drivers or guides will take you to “their friend’s” shop “just to look, no pressure to buy” but you should know that this is ILLEGAL in India, as they make a commission on anything you buy. When we tried to go into a different shop on the way (for our own interest) he tried to prevent us from entering the shop (because he would not receive a commission from this shop) and he further bullied the shop owner to “make it short, woman” so that we would not linger there long. The tourism police showed up and that’s when we realized what was going on. He paid off the policeman while we were in the shop and then waited for us to come out, and again tried to lead us into his friend’s shop. We shook him off and continued onto the stepwell on our own. Yes this is a beautiful hotel on account of the temple it is connected to, but the hotel staff are actively trying to take guests to scam them. So, I would not recommend this hotel overall based on that experience.

Hospitality service was far better than expected. Staff behaviour was professional and polite. Room was as per std. As in photos and spacious, hygiene and roof top view was very mesmerizing as this hotel is situated on foothills of mehrangarh fort, night light view of city visible from rooftop as it is very near to fort. This hotel is at walking distance from the famous ghantaghar of jodhpur ( clock tower) and turji ka jhalara ( step well). Food was good. And check in- out was hassle-free. Recommended for solo and couple travelers

This is the second time I have enjoyed staying at Jee Ri Haveli. Hi***shu and his family were lovely hosts. The Haveli is outside of the old town but the views of the fort from the rooms and rooftop restaurant are spectacular. You are within easy walking distance of everything including the excellent Sardar Market. The rooms are comfortable but not ***y luxuries but this doesn't matter as the beds are comfortable and hot water in the shower!! The food in the restaurant is excellent as well accompanied by the aforementioned view - see photo . They can arrange cars etc for arrival and departure if needed. Hi***shu took us on a wonderful walk through the old town - the blue city- and took us to visit the Jaswant Thada mausoleum and the superb Mehrangarh Fort. We really enjoyed this as he took us to places we never would have discovered on our own , we saw some wonderful murals and we ate the most delicious local sweets and found out the next day we made the local paper! Highly recommended and I would very happily stay here again.

도미토리 치고는 가격대가 있다고 생각했지만, 최대 4인 숙소였기 때문에 동행자가 많다면 괜찮은 선택일것 같습니다. 그게아니라면 굳이 도미토리보다는 싱글룸, 더블룸이 좋은 선택일것 같아요. 대표적으로 가볼만한 곳인 특이한 양식의 우물, 시계탑, 메랑가르 포르, 파체티아 힐, 김모한 식당 등 걸어서 최대 20분정도? 거리 였습니다. 워낙 성곽주변에 저렴한 숙소들이 많긴 하지만 이곳도 매력있는 숙소입니다.(숙소 문만 사진찍고 침대를 못찍음ㅠㅠ 이층침대 두개가 벽면에 길게 붙어있고, 화장실 한개가 있었습니다. 따뜻한 물은 엄청 잘 나왔고 에어컨도 빵빵하니 잘나옴, 둘이 사용해서 널널했지만 넷이 사용하면 조금 좁을 수도 있겠다고 느낌)
