Chanod Haveli

The room and the shower room are very clean and spacious. Amenities are enough. Food is delicious and various. All staffs are very very kind and sincere. When it comes to the location, there is much to be desired. Only a few rickshaw driver knew where the hotel was. I ended up calling the hotel and letting the staff tell the driver about the location.

Chanod Haveli was truly a homestay. The family opened their home for us to have dinner, were happy discuss Indian culture and customs, and even showed us how the delicious tomato chutney we had on brekfast was made. We received so much kindness and honesty from them it made two travellers feel at home in India.

The haveli is actually a homestay ***aged by a lovely couple. The property is lovely, very well kept and ***aged. It's located in the old city, so some amount of small dirty roads to traverse, but not too much. I cannot overstate the advantages of staying in the old city. Most attractions are within walking distance be it the ghanta ghar, mehenrangarh fort, main shopping area and loads of street food! So location is definitely a BIG plus! The rooms that we got were very very comfortable, simply decorated and modernized. My mum had leg pain due to arthritis and they were very kind to give us a room on the ground floor. However, they have their dining room on the 3rd floor, for which she had to climb. They did offer to deliver the food to her room, so that option exists too. Also, they are doing some renovations to include some more rooms and a lift facility. The food is simply delicious! Simple typical home cooked indian meals that are satisfying. We stayed here for 2 nights and we had absolutely no complaints. The view from their terrace is gorgeous!! Definitely recommend staying here.

Stayed here for two nights whilst in Jodhpur. Beautiful, spotlessly clean havelli where you can truly relax. The owners are kind, generous, gentle people who can’t do enough to help you. The food is delicious, more than enough, and cooked to perfection. You can get a rickshaw right outside to go and visit all the sights of Jodhpur. If you want an authentic, clean, home from home experience- this is it!

The best homestay experience that I could have hoped for, only wish it was longer. The most courteous and helpful host and staff who are ready to go extra mile to make your stay pleasant and comfortable. Mr Shailendra is the most amazing host, has interesting stories and recommendations to explore the place. Would love to go and visit this amazing place again

Its a lovely homestay, clean and well equipped. We had a pleasant stay with Mr and Mrs. Rathore even though it was just for a night. They were very hospitable and helpful. Mr. Rathore was really forthcoming in planning our day's trip. After spending a few days travelling around Rajasthan, the one night stay in their warm abode really perked us up again for the journey ahead..
