Apollo Blue

We had a weeks break here during late April and overall I must say it was a really great experience. The hotel is modern and has a good range of facilities. The staff are exceptionally helpful, faultless in every regard. The food - Superb quality every day! It is well located right on the beach front with great views. The high street is only a couple of minutes away and if you want to go here for a drink etc, it's a very quick walk. What stopped it getting 5 stars, small but annoying points. [1] The air conditioning is not turned on until the end of May. It was hot when we stayed and we had to open the balcony doors to keep the room cool - this did sadly let in the mosquitos to bite us. [2] I think the hotel has only recently opened after it's winter closure? Few little things like the jacuzzi/hot tub was always cool as they hadn't fixed this yet. Some of the gym equipment 'really' needs maintenance. [3] The buffet food was amazing - BUT - never hot. They have the usual lamps over to try and keep it hot but the hot food was only ever warm at best. I do like my hot food HOT.

We have just returned from a lovely family holiday at this hotel in early April, staying on an all inclusive basis. The hotel was lovely. The staff were friendly and welcoming and kept the hotel so clean. Our room next to the shared pool was exactly as described and was fine for the 4 of us to share, especially with the reserved sunbeds and patio right next to the smaller shared pool. The pools were amazing and you could not be closer to a lovely sandy beach. The food was always tasty and we found a good variety at eat mealtimes. We all enjoyed a very relaxing time here and would all definitely return.

Very good quality and relaxing independent hotel in the best part of the island sheltered from prevailing winds and with direct access to the beach from the amazing lagoon pool. The quality of accommodation, food and service are very high and you can see that the staff care about the guest experience. This hotel benefits from a sister hotel Apollo Beach next door that is included in all inclusive package of the Blue hotel and adds another option for eating with fresh baked pizza and lovely Al fresco dining. Any negative reviews on here are probably just some disgruntled and overly critical people who had a bad experience or would find anything to complain about but in general this is one of the best all inclusive resorts I have had the pleasure of staying and would come again. Highly recommended and would return as I know is dependable.

VERY PLEASANT A**OSPHERE PLACE Very beautiful Apollo blue Hotel it was a nice place . They are welcoming from thier guest it is free wi - fi and the pool was so so nice at the front beach of faliraki. Pool had a spot water massage at the pool.. greatfful facilities..theres a lounge bar. And restaurant at poolside.. you can go there to buy a foods if you are tired to swim or hungry. Theres so many quality food and drinks to choose for meals..foods are pricey..value for money was ok. Room is very pretty large bedroom with a nice sea view .. is there! Staff is always around at the place to clean room and give a free complimentary instant coffee. Very accomodating staff and hospitality.. all over the place was excellent. Therefore a great hotel. To stay.. Room 5/5; Value 5/5 Cleanliness 5/5 Service 5/5

My family and me had the pleasure of visiting this great hotel during the summer of 2023. Despite our initial hiccup – a booking mishap on our end, reserving a garden view room instead of the seaside view that typically includes complimentary airport transportation – the hotel staff showed remarkable responsiveness and understanding. To our surprise, they graciously provided free transfer from airport anyway, demonstrating an amazing dedication to ensuring their guests' satisfaction. This thoughtful gesture significantly increased our overall comfort from the very start. Upon arrival, we were greeted with an unexpected bonus: our rooms were upgraded to ones featuring private garden pool, adding an extra layer of luxury to our stay. While the accommodations were slightly below the anticipated standard for a 5-star establishment, they still offered a cozy retreat. The minor discrepancy in quality was easily overshadowed by the positive aspects of our upgraded rooms. The all-inclusive package ensured a vast array of food options for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Even our picky son found plenty of choices for each meal, which was a pleasant surprise. The à la carte dinner and complimentary drinks from the pool bar added a touch of luxury, and the option to use the pizza stand at the sister hotel next door was a convenient and tasty bonus. The hotel's environment offers a well-balanced blend of relaxation and convenience. With a main pool and a separate one for children, as well as its own part of the beach, we could easily choose where to unwind without the need for extensive travel. We thoroughly enjoyed the variety of entertainment options, including concerts and different musical performances. These added another layer of enjoyment to the warm evenings, complementing the already great a**osphere created by the hotel's surroundings. Special mention must be made of the outstanding and friendly staff. Daily small talk and the extra attention given to the kids further enriched our stay. The overall experience at this 5-star all-inclusive hotel was exceptional, largely thanks to the staff's commi**ent to guest satisfaction and the numerous positive surprises throughout our stay. We are greatly looking forward to spending time there during the summer 2024 again.

Myself, my partner and our 5 year old stayed here during the October half term, we had not been to Rhodes before and this visit won’t be our last, the hotel was lovely and clean, the food was good and nothing was to much trouble for any of the staff who were all lovely! We stayed in a suite on the 2nd floor which opened up to a shared pool and amazing views across the hotel and the sea! We can’t wait to come back 😊

I decided to go for an end of season, "last minute" break in the sun, as Storm Ciaran approached, and decided to head for Rhodes as the weather forecast was good and because I knew they'd had a bad time this summer, with the forest fires. I chose this hotel after looking at reviews, and wanted something Half Board just in case Faliraki was closing, as this was the last week of the season; I made a good choice! The hotel was very nice, and ALL the staff we so friendly and always smiling. I'm not sure it classes as 5*, and some of the evening meals were a little lacking, but I never went hungry and the serving ladies ensured that nothing was too much trouble. The best thing I can say is that I would certainly visit again, but possibly when a little more lively in the resort, as it was as I feared........ almost all of the bars & restaurants were closed, so apart from one evening in Rhodes Town I ate at the hotel every night. The beach bar was a great place to grab a couple of late afternoon beers too!

We have been to Rhodes 4/5 times and we love the Island. On arranging to go with friends we decided on this 5* which we knew was on the beach and we had looked around the reception in 2022 to see if we might like it, it certainly didn’t disappoint, we found all the staff exceptionally friendly and our highlights were the pool bar which we used most days and the late bar just along from Reception. The hotel we couldn’t fault and we had suites on the 2nd floor which we understand from the Manager of this hotel and Apollo Beach next door, will be adults only suites next year, they are a little dated, but the outlook and facilities make up for that. Jacuzzi bath, tv area, own walkout balcony and a small pool which accommodates the suites on that floor. The view of the main pool which was huge, the sea and virtually the whole complex was wonderful to wake up to with your early coffee. The only criticism we had was we found the food was not 5* and we have stayed in a lot of 4* hotels in other countries and the food has been 5* in a 4*. We always found something to eat but it was just ‘lacking’ in nice choices for us personally. Lunchtimes we found more appetising to the evening. Breakfast you order omelette if that’s what you want, otherwise it’s all buffet. We didn’t try the a la carte restaurant, or the spa and other facilities so cannot comment. We would go back for the staff and the the way we were looked after but probably on a bed and breakfast option so we could eat out in Faliraki in the evenings. The main ***** is full of shops and makes for a lovely stroll day or evening and stopping to have a drink along the way. We went late season this time, but we have been in June and it is a lovely resort for families and couples alike. Apollo Blue, we’re glad for this visit we chose you.
