The Hotel is nestled in a beautiful valley with amazing views in all directions. Its unique style of being part of a traditional Cypriot village, with rooms in difference locations is incredible. The immediate feel of contentment, relaxation and happiness on arrival is almost without comparison. We arrived early for lunch and chose the Bryantino Cypriot restaurant; there are three other dining options. The food was superb with an excellent range of dishes. Portion sizes are good and the fresh produce was particularly welcome. Our waitress was delightful, sorry we did not get her name, and this was a great start to our stay. The Reception Team is very pleasant and all formalities are completed with no fuss with the emphasis on welcoming you to the village. We were escorted to our suite which was well appointed, warm, welcoming and very well maintained. A large balcony and small touches like a fruit plate and complimentary room bar added to the feeling of luxury. We experienced the Byzantine cafe that evening, again with excellent food and service. The village is wonderful to explore and its residents maintain the feeling that they take pleasure in welcoming you. A trip to Marathasa winery is a must with incredible views and, when we visited, three wonderful members of staff that really made the visit even more special. Do enjoy a wine flight overlooking the valley, and take some bottles away with you! The Hotel spa is very special with lots of facilities, again all very clean and well maintained. A relaxing two hours was spent here on both days and next time a treatment will be enjoyed. Dinner at Loutraki is an amazing experience, one of our best on the island. Makis is a warm and welcoming member of the Team as are the incredible chefs. The menu has elements of fusion which combined with fine local ingredients make this a world class dining experience. The theme of wonderful food is a constant at the hotel and the Executive chef and his team deserve enormous credit. The Breakfast service offers a great variety of dishes and again, wonderful friendly and attentive staff. in conclusion, what an amazing hotel with great facilities, superb dining options situated in beautiful village which makes you feel so welcome. We have already booked to return, a longer stay next time!

Encik George di kawasan sarapan pagi, pengurus restoran Panagiota, yang sentiasa berusaha keras untuk memastikan kami mendapat masa terbaik! *kami telah kembali dan makan di Cape Aspro beberapa kali walaupun kami bukan tetamu di hotel dan perkhidmatannya sentiasa terbaik! Anna dari dapur dan Petar yang melayani kami juga sangat mengagumkan! Ambil perhatian bahawa kami adalah vegan & vegetarian dan seluruh pasukan, daripada ketua kepada ahli bar menjaga kami dengan lebih baik. Pembantu rumah kami Marites juga menjaga kami dan pakaian kami dengan cara yang profesional dan mesra! Dan sentiasa bertanya sama ada kita berseronok dan jika kita memerlukan apa-apa lagi. We made a reservation through phone for 4 bedrooms 1 month before the arriving time. When we called 2-3 day before that day, we were told that only 3 rooms are available. As we did not want to cancel our long-weekend 2 of my friends decided to share a room. When we arrived ( and later on when I mentioned this) the owners NEVER said ' Sorry' !!! The old lady owner's comments was : 'Mistakes happen' which is true BUT TO SAY 'SORRY ' WOULD BE ESSENTIAL!!!! Due their mistake we were given rooms not in the main building so we had a restricted view of Omega beach. Moreover, although my friends were old , we were given rooms on the 1st floor which due the steps ( not well lightened during night) made for my friends difficult to reach their room. Rooms had also problems: electricity/TV/hair dryer weren't working, balcony door could not be close properly, toilette flusher got stacked and water was continuously running in the toilette. One positive point that when we complained an old man came soon and tried his best to solve the problem. He was the nicer person from all employees we met there. Rooms had the basic furniture and they were clean, except some smudges on the walls. . BUT only one bedside lamp and not even one glass!! Bathrooms were nicely designed and towels were clean. Breakfast area had a disgusting strong oily smell all day around. Breakfast was very poor, Omelets probably weren't done from fresh eggs as it were served in cubes!! Only one kind of marmalade (probably the same would cost to have at least 2 different one.!!) As about the cleanliness of the coffee /milk pots-they were dirty outside and full with smudged fingerprints. But the worst was the cheep blue supermarket 'Sailor' salt which we had on our table. it was sticky and dirty!!! Next to our table , to separate it from the 'parking'( it is just a plot between the 2 buildings of the hotel, not even a path/steps leading from one building to the other) was a badly hanged plastic. How much would cost to put some nicer stuff there??? The worse came when at the time of check-out we mentioned some of the technical problems in order to help the owners to avoid problems with next guests. The middle aged women (??owner) approach was ABSOLUTELY negative. And again we did not hear the word :SORRY. Maybe they not even know that word??? IT IS TIME TO LEARN TO BE POLITE, TIME TO MAKE MINIMAL IMPROVEMENTS. It is a shame that all these problems brought us negative emotions on that beautiful and unspoiled area of Cyprus.

Went 30 December 2022 to spent the last couple of days of the year in what it supposed to be a cosy mountainous hotel set up. It was just that. A cosy refurbished old hotel in the middle of a forest, a short walking distance from Platres village. There is a huge history concerning the role the hotel played as the place for the rich and famous in the early 20th century until the end of the 80's. Royals, movie stars and wealthy individuals stayed at the hotel, photos of which are everywhere. The room was clean, the temperature was perfect and everything worked just fine. The a la cart menu offers few choices, but the food quality was above average to our satisfaction. Not expensive as well. The wine list was short and was focused to local wineries from which there was a handful of worth to try (if you are familiar with the local varieties or if you can get help from the head waiter). Excellent service at the restaurant, smiling faces everywhere and helpful staff in every corner. Taking under consideration the fact that is a facility deep in the forest, old and with a well established mountainous character, it is unfair to judge the simplicity of the design or the lack of 5 modern star building materials. You get what you pay and that is not a high end 21st century super luxury hotel. There is of course room for improvement starting from the unacceptable condition of the private road when you enter the gates heading upwards for the Hotel (about 4 hundred meters). It's totally destroyed and no maintenance have been taken place for decades. There is no lighting to help you avoid the holes so if you are not cautious your car might end up with some kind of damage. If this piece of road is part of the land that belongs to the hotel , then this is totally unacceptable. Generally though a good experience.

Generally we have enjoyed our stay! Wonderful location, view, many available amenities, deco of the hotel, family atmosphere, friendly staff and food -especially buffet. But the first cold night the heating, that we paid for, was out of service air condition and central. The people that were available to talk to at night in the reception weren't able to help. The next morning they manage to send a technician- that we demanded -and the problem was fixed but nobody came us to discuss any payback to us in any way as it was a lost paid service. Plus, despite that I have booked a room for two adults and two kids, 9-year-old and less than two years,they told me that they could not see that at their system. They said that, they will arrange it. Finally they charged us without any prior notice, despite I have paid online our stay.
