Хороший отель на первой линии океана, расположен вдали от дороги и от города, в несезон поблизости нет кафешек и мест где можно покушать, поэтому питаться придётся в отеле, можно взять шведский стол на обед и ужин. Пляж у отеля это единственное место для купания в несезон, природный волнорез защищает берег и образует подобие океанского бассейна. Дружелюбный стаф, быстрое заселение, большой и теплый бассейн, на территории шныряют забавные барсуки/белки, вараны/это стало дополнительным бонусом к отлично проведённому времени. Те кто ищет спокойного отдыха вдали от действительности Шри-Ланки-вам сюда!!

Had three days at end of a 14 day tour. Idea was to have a relaxing break prior to coming home. This hotel is in a lovely location, very clean and the staff were so friendly and helpful. The food was OK. We had some fantastic meals but others were decidedly average. The egg hoppers for breakfast and fried fish in the evening were exceptional but they were only there for one day which was a shame. The curries were on the warm side and authentic. There is no real evening entertainment in this hotel which was Ok for us but could be an issue. There were many clients in an all inclusive package (mainly German when we were there) who regularly got their moneys worth by starting drinking at the pool bar by 10.30! Their singing at times was lively but did stop by 22.00hrs! There were never enough sun loungers and many were taken with towels as early as 07.00. The hotel made no attempt to control this and seemed happy to allow this behaviour. This was discussed with the management at the end of our stay but as it has been commented on previously I doubt there is a will to manage it which is a shame as other hotels in Sri Lanka did. The pool has green tiles which makes it look like a swamp from the side, it was kept clean and they did act as soon as it became hazy treating it thoroughly. The pool however had a permanent volley ball net and on occasion seemed to necessitate very loud music so was not a place to relax. On top of this many of the bar users seemed just to stand talking in the middle which made swimming very difficult. The beach is beautiful and sea warm, there are a few sellers but they are all polite and not pushy. There is however no opportunity in front of the hotel to sit on the beach as this is a public beach but we found our stuff safe when we left it to go for a swim. The hotel know how to charge! The bar is very pricey and the most expensive we found in Sri Lanka. That said if you turn left n the beach, 100 yards down is an excellent beach bar at at least half the price. Your choice😉 Overall this is a lovely hotel, the food could be better, the staff are lovely. We feel it perhaps has lost its way in who it wants to attract and needs to decide if this is a lively all inclusive hotel or a relaxed up market 5* beach resort.

Amazing resort location with large cosy and beautiful rooms. Highly recommend for holidays. Food is expensive though.

Прекрасный отель, хоть и не новый, океан виден со всей территории и номеров) вкусные завтраки и улыбчивый персонал! В номере было все необходимое. Видели 1 раз таракана в номере, но это нормально для такой страны и климата… было конечно не приятно и хорошо, что мы уже уезжали на экскурсию 😄

Ekho Surf was an awesome hotel for my friends from New Zealand who attended my wedding in Sri Lanka. The group of friends had many positive things to say including the room amenities, food and the stunning location of the hotel by the beach. A special shout-out to Shanthakumar and Akshana from the hotel management for making the bookings and arrangement for my friend group as seamless and easy as possible. Highly recommend their service

Welcome - we were greeted well on arrival As this was our last hotel on trip we requested for an upgrade. The receptionist said the hotel was full but it wasnt the case when we checked with housekeeping staff. Rooms - The rooms are pretty standard 5 star rooms with partial sea view from the room we stayed in. Service - The room service/housekeeping was very quick and efficient but the service at the pool restaurant was very dull and unwelcoming. F&B - The food and the service at the main restaurant was outstanding. This is what saved our good views on this hotel. The manager was more than eager to serve us well. Pool - The pool is very nice- very big and well maintained Beach- The beach was nothing special. Overall - A decent hotel with tough neighborly competition.

Hotel is modern , fresh , well maintained . Perfect for a relaxing vacation with gym , excellent long pool , yoga , sports area . Access to the beach is private and peaceful. Food spread was lavish Nd tasty . Staff is very friendly Nd goes out of the way to help you . We enjoyed the wide spread of food for new years gala dinner . Bar has good choice of liquor. You can take a tuktuk from hotel lobby roam around to see local life . Go to kalatura rich look store or others for cheap but good quality daily wear clothes . Beach is little rough . Spending 5 nights with hotel was relaxing then we moved to bentota to enjoy the beach which is smooth Nd one of the best I have come across travelling world around . Special thank to Tusharri to ensure we had the best stay Nd the personal touch she provided and Mr Prasad Wijesyriya for maintaining the hotel so well . You can always see them around with a smile and ensuring all guests are happy checking on them . Key feature is the long swimming pool . We are staying at Taj bentota now but we found citrus much better with pool , rooms and pricing for quality .

Nice and clam environment. Delicious foods. Can recommended.
