Ulasan Hotel Indigo Kaohsiung Central Park

Stylish hotel with elegant decoration, near train and Central Park, accessible to major shopping centre and restaurants. Recommend to stay in this hotel when travel Kaohsiung. Friendly and helpful hotel staff. Clean up room regularly. Pier 1 bar on the top floor is a great spot.

Location's unbeatable, right next to Central Park station on red metro line. Christmas lights at the park in the evening is a huge plus.

Pros: Staff are very friendly and helpful. Location is good, mrt is just a short walk away. Room is clean and spacious. Good housekeeping. Gym is 24/7. To Fengjia night market it is about 10 minutes walk. Cons: Strict check-in policy. Took a past midnight flight and arrived hotel very early but was only allowed to check-in about 10 minutes earlier. The pillows are too soft, very uncomfortable to sleep on. Although mrt is nearby, there’s only a small shopping mall nearby. Have to take trains to bigger malls.

This was the perfect spot for me personally because I was able to explore a few local areas. I took the HSR from Taipei and stayed only one night. I met a few locals within walking distance and the Central Park is a nice feature across the street. Although the Pier 2 Creative Park is still in the process of developing itself, I felt it was well worth it to go there for food, drinks, photos, and exploring there. The hotel room itself was amazing. As soon as I walked in I took a bunch of photos and posted on Facebook because I felt it was cooler than my apartment. I did not order the breakfast but I did have coffee from the café. There’s a few cute diners and photo shops down the street. There’s a dog café and a cat café not far from the hotel. Staff was very friendly. I had a teatime at intercontinental (which was a droll vibe), and I’m glad I chose not to stay there. I feel that Indigo gives a great value for the money and the design specialists were really detailed-oriented with some of the things they included in the rooms. Facilities were great. View was nice. Go see for yourself.

Staffs were very friendly. Rooms are spacious and clean. There is a rooftop bar for drinks and food. Hotel Indigo is in a very central location and easy access to most location of interest. There is the MRT station less than 30 min of the hotel enterance. A 24hr cafe, Mcdonald's and 7-11 store is just 5mins away so not worry about finding foods late at night. Highly recommended and will stay here if visit Kaohsiung again.

Positives: - Huge toilet and toilet separated between wet and dry - quirky room design and a lot of small details. Can sense the attention paid in designing the room - comfortable bed - bedside charging (usb ports included) - media panel (hdmi port, audio etc… also located bedside) - 49 inch tv is big enough given distance from bed to tv - complimentary mini bar items (though it is just two small bottles of soft drinks and 2 packets of snacks that is not refilled enough though I stayed two nights) - pillow menu - stand-alone bathtub comes with a view! - speakers in room and toilet negatives - tv no Chromecast - duvet could be thicker - bath towels could be thicker - bedside clock cum usb speaker audio quality quite poor - non carpeted floor may not be to everyone’s liking (cold)
