Hotel berhampiran Yukawafurusato Park, Karuizawa

良いところ １．スタッフさんの姿勢が良く、明るくテキパキ対応されていて、気持ちが良いです。 ２．食事が美味しいです。夕食はフルコースでしたが、予想を裏切る美味しさです。鴨肉は柔らかく、グリーンピースのポタージュは濃厚、デザートのフォンデーンショコラも良かったです。朝食のビュッフェも品数が豊富、味も良かったです。湯豆腐が特に良かった。 残念なところ １．良く手入れはされていますが、やはり築年数には勝てないところもありました。部屋の給換気ファンの音、給湯の量など。 総じて雰囲気も良く、楽しい時間を過ごせました。 ありがとうございました。

The hotel is just a 5 minute walk from Karuizawa station. Take the north exit on the bridge/walkway after coming up from Shinkansen platform, it's the left. There's a tourist info with helpful people at the end of the corridor, and an escalator next to it. Once you come out, with your back to the station, walk straight down the road, and take left at the first traffic light, near the Shell station. The hotel is opposite Family Mart. Staff are friendly and helpful. Room was generous-sized with an ante-room which has a fridge, some storage cupboards and the main room is nice and big with a good-sized bed. They provide 2 bottles of water. You can take day trips to Naka Karuizawa, Shiraiito Falls among other destinations using the bus service outside the station. It's a lot easier if you have Suica card or you will need to carry many 1000 yen notes. On the way back you can you can stop off at Kyu Karuizawa and walk the streets of Old Ginza. It can also be reached by foot, takes about 25-30 minutes.

West side was around 10 min walk from the outlet mall and took us nearly 30 mins to walk (with a kid) to the East Side Snow Park. Room was just okay for its price - lobby looks better and newer than the room which was a bit old fashioned, yellowish (without a full mirror too) and not spacious. We drove there. For this price point, we would try other hotels next time, like Hilton in the area, given we need to walk a long way from West Side to everywhere, even to the hotel lobby and car park.

Arrival and Welcome Upon our arrival at the hotel, the staff immediately greeted us and efficiently handled our luggage straight from the trunk. The lobby was notably spacious, featuring a modern yet warm ambiance. To our delight, we were welcomed with delicious drinks that were perfect for the snowy day. The staff were patient and thorough as they introduced us to the hotel's facilities, making us feel truly special. Dining Experience The dinner consisted of delightful Western cuisine, with every dish tasting superb. Despite not being fluent in English, our waiter was cheerful and made every effort to engage in conversation, enhancing our dining experience. A small note for future visits: the heating was a bit strong during our meal, making it slightly uncomfortable. Breakfast was a diverse buffet with numerous healthy options—so many that we couldn't try them all! Both meals were enjoyed by a window, providing us with beautiful views of the hotel surroundings. Room and Amenities Our room was a fusion of modern design and practicality, offering ample storage and bright spaces. It was impeccably clean, and the bed was extremely comfortable. We had a river view room; although the river was mostly obscured by snowy trees and had a low flow due to winter, the snowy landscape compensated beautifully. Public Onsen The hotel features a public onsen, which we unfortunately missed due to its early closing time and our own exhaustion. This was a slight disappointment as we were looking forward to experiencing it. Special Moments On our last day, when retrieving our car covered in snow, the staff offered to clear it for us. Opting to do it ourselves for the fun of the experience, the staff enthusiastically captured videos and photos, turning a simple moment into a cherished memory. We absolutely loved our stay at this hotel. The attention to detail, the proactive and friendly staff, and the overall quality of service made our visit unforgettable. I have already recommended this hotel to a friend visiting Karuizawa this summer, and we plan to return ourselves on our next trip. Rating: ★★★★★

急遽一泊のスキーに出かけることになり、間際に予約。 ひとりで一部屋に泊まり8,500円 ホテルと設備だが一般的なビジネスホテルだと思うと、6,500円ぐらいの感覚だが、ロケーションを考えれば納得する範囲かと思います。 全体的にキレイで清潔感もあります。 バイキング形式の朝食は現地チェックインの際にお願いしようと思ったが、現地に着くと「売り切れ」でビックリ。翌朝朝食会場を覗いてもガラガラで、、、ちょっと残念でした。

We stayed at this hotel recently and really appreciated the stay. The stay actually started off bumpy with some misunderstanding of our reservation that had us cramped into a small room with no possibility of adding a roll-away. The young woman who checked us in said there was nothing she could do, so we took her for her word and proceeded to our room. When we got to our room, we realized that we would end up with a disastrous stay contrary to what we were expecting--a wonderful and serene one--as the room was way too small. When the bell person (Rajesh) brought our luggage, we informed him, that the room would not work for our family of four. Though it was not his responsibility per se, Rajesh immediately went to work to seek out any other options we could have to accompany us and, long story short, he helped us stay in a bigger room that was more appropriate--though considered a downgrade. The fact that a bell person would go out of his realm of responsibility to meet our needs was truly appreciated allowing us all to fully enjoy our stay. We ended up having dinner and breakfast at the hotel restaurant and fully appreciated the friendliness and service of the restaurant staff as well as the healthy, delicious, and local foods that were served. There is no doubt we would return to stay there again thanks to Rajesh and his excellent customer service!

The town is known for being chic as it counts celebrities, artists, actors and musicians as its residents. The hotel is in that line. The entrance itself is somewhat muted in tone. But staff are warm and friendly. They helped carry our luggage to the second floor annexe (which still has no elevator) and then back down when we checked out. The room was the most spacious (ok, we were upgraded) and it had a humifier. Toiletries were good quality. The restaurant itself is a good French one. It's too bad we could not sample it but we had a taste of it at breakfast. The pastries were so good we ended up asking for more croissant and bread. I learnt later that many of its cooks have gone on to be chefs all over Japan. There is a small gift shop of some jams and honey made on the hotel grounds. Yes, highly recommended.

It suits those who purposely go for skiing and family trip. It closes to the rental shop of skii equipment and skii entrance. Even you can go back to hv lunch in the mid day. Hot spring is until 23:00 . No vending machine in the bldg

Though abit far from Karuizawa station, but the moment you entered into the hotel it makes you feel like it's all worth it. The size of the room is something not what you'd expect from a typical Japanese hotel, it's really spacious and the moment you entered the suite they provided umbrella in the front of the door for their guest to use. The room is really clean, they offered nicely folded pajamas for the visitors as well as and provided all the sanitary kits you need right inside the room! Next day we were greeted warmly by the reception (that speaks really good English) and she helped us order a taxi to get around to our next stop. Too bad we only get to stay for one night, will definitely come again when we visit Karuizawa again!

大人2名、こども5名(13,11,9,5,0才) 計7名 2部屋で宿泊。目的地への途中、寝るだけの予定だったのでまずは価格を優先。予約後、電波が届きにくくわかりづらい場所でもあるそうで、担当者の方から数回、ご丁寧な連絡をいただきました。(Googleマップであれば正確なようです。)到着時間が22時近かったのですが、担当者の方が車のライトで周辺を照らして待機してくれていたため、スムーズにチェックインができました。(宿泊施設が何棟かあるためフロントがある棟ではなく、宿泊棟で待機してくれていたようです。)2部屋とも2DKで水回りがまとまっています。［トイレ､洗面所､脱衣所+風呂場］人によっては、落ち着いて用が足しづらいかもしれません。寝室はキングサイズのベッドルーム+和室。大変綺麗な室内で驚きました。過ごしているうちに段々と建物自体の古さが目につきますが、コストパフォーマンスを考えれば腑に落ちるところ。施設設備としてWi-Fi(準備中)+常に電波は最弱。屋外に出た方が電波は拾いやすいです。今回は寝るだけでよかったので気になりませんでしたが、テレビもないので、せめてWi-Fi環境が整うことを期待します🙏(とても静かな環境で過ごせるのでデジタルデトックスには打ってつけ)また、アメニティでバスタオル､フェイスタオルが用意されていますが、相当毛羽立ちますので、気になる方は持参されることをおすすめします。 素泊まりや長期滞在には大変リーズナブルで申し分のない施設です。次回もぜひ利用したいと思います。 【浴室設置】POLA「SHOWER BREAK」シリーズのシャンプー、コンディショナー、ボディソープ【洗面台設置】フォームソープブラシ､クシ､コットン+綿棒+ヘアゴムセット､髭剃り 【キッチン】湯沸かし器、電子レンジ、冷凍+冷蔵庫、コンロ(フライパン、鍋などのキッチン道具、食器洗剤､スポンジはありません。コーヒーカップ､湯呑み､急須は用意されていました。) 〈余談〉近隣のガソリンスタンドは早くに営業が終了してしまうため、余裕を持った給油をおすすめします。
